The Apple Watch Ultra was built to be rugged and used in extreme climates. Any watch of this degree needs watch bands to match its durability. I am personally very picky when it comes to watch bands. Some of the things I require are a band that is stylish, durable, breathable, comfortable, and secure. The Platinum rugged silicone band surprised me and is everything I previously mentioned. Starting of with style, this band comes in multiple colors. The one I got was the darker green and I think it goes very well with the Apple Watch Ultra and is an everyday color. Since this is a rugged silicone band it is durable, breathable, comfortable. Silicone is my preferred material when it comes to watch bands for this very reason. It can hold up to extreme conditions, it is waterproof, and can withstand every day wear and tear. It has a traditional watch clasp which allows it to stay securely on your wrist and offers adjustability for the most common wrist sizes. The designs on the inside of the band allow for air flow to move through your wrist which reduced the amount of sweating underneath. I have worn many watch bands that are not comfortable but I was please with how comfortable this watch band was. The last thing that I prefer is a watch band that is secure. I have used some cheaper watch bands in the past and they just do not feel secure and have even come unsecure. The Apple Watch Ultra was designed for the most extreme conditions and having a watch band that can secure it to your wrist is most important. The standard clasp design is one of the most secure watch band designs possible. I was also impressed with the metal hinges used to connect the band to the watch. The previous band I was using had silicone hinges and they never felt as secure. The metal hinges make the band feel very secure and it is not going to come off the watch on its own. I would highly recommend this watch band for anyone with an Apple Watch Ultra. Although most watch bands from previous models are compatible with Apple Watch Ultra, I believe this watch band specifically designed for Apple Watch Ultra is a must have.

This band is average looks and quality and seems a bit narrow width

Did not like the way it fit. The band was rubbing my wrist raw.

The bang gave a rash on the skin which caused us to buy a different ban.
