Now, thanks to this, I can finally transfer those files onto my new phone. At the same time, I can use it to transfer data from old devices, like cameras, to my PC, which rarely comes with an SD card reader anymore.

Plugged this thing in and less then a mn it was scorching hot, I could literally smell burning material. Thought I had a defective one but tried another one SAME THING! Set up appointment with Geek Square & they tried using the SAME EXACT ONE I HAD JUST RETURNED! NO HELP THERE. All in all I wouldn't recommend personally...

It's not terribly expensive and it's nice to be able to use it on both my computer and phone.
