Works great, but an odd design

The SD slot is on the back side next to the cord which is awkward to use. Other than that, it's fine.

Ports on front and back?

Thankfully, I've only ever used one type of card so I don't have to constantly reorient the thing for my needs.

Junk - corrupts files
