Faithful remake, definitely good for new Pokémon fans who didn't play the original or old fans looking to reminisce

Love this game. Everyone said it was a trash remake but as an OG pokemon lover that prefers the original games, I think its a great remake.

I grew up playing Pokémon with my brother and so I picked this up to play through it and trade Pokémon with him over Christmas. I really should have just waited for Pokémon Legends: Arceus though. This game is fine but I did not get all the way through it. It couldn't hold my attention with it's super basic story and slightly more difficult than typical battles. The Pokémon roster is also nothing special but in my opinion nothing since Gen 2 has been. Get the other game and pass on this is my advise. No one should ever buy another basic rehashed Pokémon formula game again. They just proved they know how to do better than this game with that and in comparison this is boring. It scratches a collecting itch but why not buy something else where you can actually have real fun while doing that?

Classic Pokémon diamond and pearl. I enjoy the look of this game. Yes it’s a bit cutesy, but it’s enjoyable and brings back classic Pokémon plus no need for HM Pokémon on the team!

My grandson loves this game. He has friends that come over to play as well. PokeMon has been a favorite of his for a long while. He loves this game

I bought this game since I was super excited for a remake of one of my favorite childhood games. It was an overall fun time but still lacking in terms of post-game elements.

Very solid remake. It's not something I'd play through multiple times like Sword or Legends Arceus, but if you want to play Gen 4 again, it's pretty faithful.

Pockiemon brilliant diamond game for switch I have not played it but my grand child really likes it.

Had a blast finally being able to play this game again, not super different but it's been nice that I can play an updated version of it on the console that I use most anyway.

Awesome game. Gameplay is great, the picture looks beautiful on the switch. Definitely recommend getting one of these two new releases depending which Pokémon you like most!

This game is a good copy of what the original Pokemon Diamond experience was like during my childhood. Many minor improvements, but overall lacking in game mechanics, but still a solid game for those who never experienced the original game, or wants a simpler, less gimmicky Pokemon.

A great game if you have never played the DS originals. If you played the originals recently, I would hold off on purchasing as it is almost one to one in gameplay experiences with modern touches. Would recommend for new fans that haven't played before and older fans that haven't played in awhile.

It’s a remaster of a Pokémon game from back in the handheld days. On top of that you’ll get a larger screen if you’re still playing it in portable mode

I love new pokemon games, even the remakes/remasters. yes it seems a little light on features, but if you like pokemon stories, you will like this

The original game is one of my favorite game of the Pokémon series and I really enjoy all the mechanics they added. With that said, you can tell the developers just copy and paste the files from the original game and just added a new skin. They are lazy and don’t bother to play their games.

Never played the original, but been having a blast going through this game. Would recommend for first timers or longtime pokemon fans!

Overall this remake was good and kept to the original game. The small new additions were good, especially the addition of the underground. In the end this game was a remake and it did a good job remaining mostly the same.

My daughter likes pokemon and she is enjoying this game. That said, she enjoys arceus a bit more as she said this one feels smaller than Arceus
