Too Many Cutscenes
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have played nearly every game boy version of pokemon, and while I enjoyed Sun/Moon, I found the constant cutscenes and handholding to be distracting. My least favorite part of every pokemon game is the start when they explain what pokemon are (for the 7th iteration) and how to catch them. I feel like these games took that slow portion of the game and added a heavy dose throughout the entire experience. I suppose it's good that they are attempting to add more life into a story, but I'm not sure that pokemon needs a story.
