It works as advertised, although a little confusing at first. You must attach a small connector piece to the controller, then place it on the charger and then push it all down until it clicks.

Does what it's supposed to but feels cheap

It requires the use of a dongle that you leave attached to your controller, which the two-controller station does not. If you only think you'll ever have one PS4 controller, get this. Otherwise, check out the two-controller version from PowerA.
