The charging controller has to sit within the stand, making it where it's difficult to play a game if the controller is charging

Otherwise compact and holds the controller nicely even for display.

It's a charging cable that runs to a cradle. If you want something more aesthetically appealing, then I'd get this. If you can handle a cord going to a controller that is just laying around while charging, don't bother with this. I bought this thinking it had all the components to plug into a wall, but it just comes with a usb charging cable for the playstation or computer. There is not wall power adapter for this dock. What's the point? Otherwise, i'm just using the cable the controller came with and charging via the playstation.
