Don't waste your dollars...

Not the case. With this one, you have to plug an adapter into the little mini-USB port on the controller, then place it in the cradle. (not the case with prior models) Its just as easy to simply plug into the USB cord from front of the PS4 !!

Unnecessary Peice

However it comes with a little adapter that goes into the USB port on the PS4 controller. This piece is needed in order for the controller to sit on the dock. I lost the piece and cannot find it. I went and bought a DUAL controller charger that didn't need the piece and this item sits collecting dust. If you're not dumb like me it does work.
