Has a little USB strap at allows it to sit in the cradle upright. Sounds like a good idea but 90 percent of the time doesn't just drop in and charge in the cradle. It require force to sit right and then it will. Honestly easier to just hook it up a USB cable then do all this for it to work.

The charing port plugs into your controller and just stays there. When it's time to charge all you do is simply rest your controller on the dock and it charges.

Functional but cheap

If you are looking for something cheap to get the job done then this works, but I would rather spend more money for something to last longer.

Had to glue it to controller in order to keep it from breaking in the near future. The base does a good job and the fact that you can turn on or off the charging is great so not to damage the controller batteries while using the charger as a stand. Besides the cheap plastic, it does it's job.
