It has a little price that plugs into the controller that allows it to charge it. Good thing to fee up your USB plug in on the console.

It is all manner of cranky, more than half the time it doesn't charge without major moving around and getting things just right. And Heaven forbid that the controller shifts in the cradle. It is not my favorite.

I only have one controller so this seemed like the best route to go. It works fine and charges fine. My only complain is that the adapter for the micro usb plug doesn't fit snugly and I find it often falling out when getting into some sweaty PVP.

For some reason it doesn't click all the way down like I'm sure it's supposed to do. After the rubberband, it works great.
