It's really good to have especially if you have 2 controllers it works for last gen or next

Whoever is rating this as not working with the new Xbox Series X/S controller must have gotten old stock. Just purchased this today (11/22/2020) and this includes covers for both the old Xbox One controller and the new Series X/S controller. Currently it's the only charging dock you can get at Best Buy for the new controller, and it does it's job as intended.

People need to read the directions. Comes with 4 doors. Door A is for Xbox One controllers. Door B is for Xbox Series X controllers. They have the letter on the doors. Not a bad price considering you get a pair of doors for Xbox One and a pair for Xbox Series X along with a pair of battery packs.

Works as described! This is perfect for my new Xbox Series X, comes with 4 battery cover doors 2 for previous xbox and 2 for the new Series X. No more double AA batteries this is a great option to have, just sits on the charger station for the recharge.

I believe the other reviews on this item are for the old charger that was Xbox One only. This item works on both Series X and Xbox One. It comes with back plates for both. Just bought it today. Works perfect.

Ignore the 1 star non verified reviews. I actually bought this item from Best Buy and it's exactly as advertised. These low star reviews are from people that are buying the old version.

Please be advised this does not fit the new xbox controller, the lid in the back is different then the old version. Whole concept is nice that you push down when you need to charge once down you push it again so It doesn't over charge.

Works for XBOX One, and XBOX One X and Elite Controllers. Does NOT work for SERIES X Controllers. You can make it for Series X controllers if you leave the backing off. It's inconvenient. Best Buy, please change the Description!

Loving it been really handy for an extra one to have for back up…

I have a compatible controllers for this charging station and even followed videos on how to properly use the charging station and the product didn't even work! I hate to write bad reviews but I'm so disappointed because I was hoping to not have to ever use my crappy wired chargers ever again. The LED wasn't lighting up even though in the videos it showed the LED immediately lighting up after placing the controller with the battery on the station. I pressed down and everything. Maybe, I just got a defectivr item but I'm still really disappointed that it didn't work and I now have to go through the hassle of sending back the defective item to get my moneg back >:( This is just really annoying, I was so excited to rub my charging station in my boyfriend's face, and now he's going to say I told you so (lol). I just wish I could get my money back without having to drive all the way somewhere to return a product that doesn't even work and is just going to be thrown away.

Received this as a gift. It started out great, but less than a year later, it works as nothing more than a display stand. It doesn't charge our controllers at all anymore, and we've had to go back to using batteries. Will be searching for better chargers for black friday.

This worked well for me for few weeks, but after that I started having some issues. One of the 2 charging spots will charge for a bit and then start blinking the same color as it shows while charging. I have noticed this leads to controllers getting really hot. One of the controllers no longer charges at all. Basically I feel like I have to babysit the stand to make sure it doesnt start blinking. I would definitely try another solution.

I purchased this item for the Xbox One X and it was just adequate for that. I upgraded the the series X, thinking it would work and it is NOT universal as advertised. Microsoft changed where the back plates connect to the controller on the Series X so the covers don't fit. It is also very poor with the One X as well, as trying to get the controller to connect with the charger is hit or miss. I do not recommend this at all. I tried to upload photos but the site keeps failing.

At first, the charger worked just fine. But after a couple of months, I noticed charging would not complete (where the solid white light would show) and instead would continue to charge for over an hour. Eventually, the indicator went to blinking amber. The battery felt very hot to the touch upon investigation. Generally, a battery and charger should not result in a potential fire hazard.

Says that it fits series x controller, but beware. Although the battery pack fits into the new controller, the plate cover does not fit on the new controller.

Says right on the box that this works with the Xbox Series X controller. It does not! Returning this. Will get a battery and cable instead.
