It works people!!! READ which model works for you!

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5It works, and works perfectly. You need to read which model is right for you. Many people complain that the back piece does not fit their controller. Buy the model for the system you have, I don’t understand what’s so hard. For those who do not know, even though the Xbox controllers between the generations look similar, the battery doors are different. If you get the model compatible for series X, you will receive 2 backs for the series X and 2 back for the previous gen. If you have the older model and get a series X, you need new battery doors. Simple as that. READ people.....The dock glows orange when it’s charging, and glows white when it’s done charging. My unit does not get hot or overheat. The light stays on always. Even when it’s fully charged. The LEDs are not bright, but they do remain on. If that bothers you, put it somewhere where it won’t bother you. Problem solved. I have not had weak battery issues where I have had to recharge the controller during a session, but at the same time, I do not play anymore than 2-3 hours at a time.

Quality4 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5This charging dock works EXACTLY as intended. People who give this a bad review saying that the battery doors do not fit their xbox series x|s controllers is completely false. The package comes with 2 xbox one AND 2 xbox series x|s battery doors.

Worked as advertised!
|Posted .Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Not sure what people are talking about. This worked without any issues on the new Xbox Core (Xbox Series X) controllers. They come with 4 backplates. 2 for the Xbox Series X and 2 for the Xbox One controllers. Make sure you guys put the correct backplates on your controllers! A manual is included which shows what plates to put on your controllers. Happy gaming!

Great product, just be careful if it’s for a kid

Quality3 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Design, PriceCons mentioned:Product constructionHow it looks - 4/5 Physically, this thing is aesthetically pleasing. It is a great, clean looking design that makes it fit in most places and spaces around any room! I like that they’re back to back, it looks great front to back or sideways and provides versatility that many of this product’s competitors can’t offer. I only give it 4/5 because I don’t like how of all the colors to choose when it is charging, they chose yellow. It turns white when it is finished charging which I LOVE! But the orange doesn’t do it any justice. In a way, it makes it look like a cheap toy. How it works - 4/5 It is super simple and easy to figure out! Push it down to charge, and push it down again when it is done charging and it pops up and acts as a holder!! I wish I could give this 5/5 because I think that is such a great convenience that doesn’t cause the batteries to overcharge (my other similar products in the past required me to unplug it when not in use so it does not overcharge). But I only give it 4/5 because it feels a little unstable and I’m worried with time that it will no longer work. Material - 2/5 Really cheap material. It does it’s job but this definitely really feels like a cheap plastic toy that is going to break every time I push it down. I guess I expected a bit too much from the Power A company but most of their products are really sturdy. Convenience - 5/5 Overall, this is a great and affordable upgrade for any gamer, any age or experience level. It is very convenient if you have two or more controllers so you can charge one while playing with the others! Luckily, if you have the NEW XBOX OR XBOX ONE, you’re fine with these! It has 2 doors for the new xbox controllers and 2 doors for the old controllers! I would definitely recommend this product if you can live with the orange light and afford to buy one in time (depending on how much you use this product). For reference, I game about two hours a day on weekdays and longer on the weekends and I think I have to charge each controller (two controllers) at least once a week. I think with time I will have to purchase another one in about half a year to a year if I am careful. Happy gaming!

Same price as a single battery?
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Bought this because the packs from my previous kit (of the same manufacturer) were getting old and no longer holding a charge. I was going to just buy new packs, but this whole kit with two batteries AND a new dock cost the exact same as a single pack with nothing but a USB cable. Clearly, that was a no-brainer. So now I have two new battery packs and a second dock, which is great because I also just recently purchased a Series X controller to use as a PC gamepad and needed a second pack anyway, and now I could give my old dock to my roommate so he doesn't need to use the one downstairs. Kit works great and is backwards compatible with their older kits so if you already have a PowerA charger like this, you can interchange the packs and chargers. Includes four total battery doors, two for the Series X style, and two for the older style. They look VERY similar but you'll know if you're using the wrong one because it just won't slide on right. Batteries come partially charged but will need to be docked pretty much immediately. Takes a couple hours to get a full charge. Orange light turns white when charging is done and looks pretty nice, better than the red/green on the old dock. No complaints so far. These packs always eventually fail either due to loss of charging or corrosion on the contacts because of the micro-arcing that happens when you put them on the dock. All contact chargers have this problem. That said, you can usually get at least a year or two out of the packs before they start to show wear and that makes them still cheaper than using AAs. I suppose it might be cheaper to use rechargeable AA cells but then you'd still be missing out on the convenience of being able to dock them. At the end of the day it's all about where your priorities lie.

Q: QuestionAny idea how long these batteries last with wired headset plugged into the controller? I am currently using rechargeable batteries and they only last 3-4 hours with headset plugged in. The new controllers (Xbox Series X) seem to drain batteries quicker.
Asked by Sasha.
- A:Answer The battery life on this unit I'm getting is 2-3 hrs tops. I bought a unit last year from AMAZON for my xbox one and I probably get 4 times the battery life. I am going to see if I can find the same one for the new xbox x controllers.
