Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the Fusion Pro Wired Controller's quality, paddles, ease of use, and overall feel, with many praising its weight and grip. However, customers are negative about the wired connection and some reported issues with stick drift and triggers. A few users also mentioned concerns about button durability and cord length. The controller is considered a good alternative to higher-priced competitors.

Decent back-up controller for average gamers

It’s a good controller for someone who needs a decent, basic, wired controller. I did not like the “paddle” button/trigger mods underneath and never used them after the first night. The abxy buttons appear to be the same as the regular Xbox controller. That’s fine If you don’t mind it but I came from using a Wolverine with buttons cut lower with less resistance which cuts down pushing time because it’s more like clicking a mouse. It’s an aesthetically appealing controller in my opinion and the suede like texture on the face plate feels nice. The underside is rubberized so it doesn’t slip. It’s heavier than a regular Xbox controller which might add to the luxe feel for some. Might be taxing on the wrist for others. Has a aux port for headphones. It can be a challenge to get the connector out of the top port but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

This is a great controlled. Ut comes with paddles, and trigger stoppers. However, if you have anger problems, you may not have the greatest of times. I slammed my controller down once, and one of the triggers didn’t work anymore, so don’t do that. I would still recommend .

This is a really nice wired controller especially for the price. Its also a great alternative to the pricey elite controller, which you can do almost everything that controller does with this one. I really like the option of switching out the paddles, but also customizing the buttons to make game play easier. So if you want an elite style controller but don't have they money for one, this controller would be perfect for you.

Its the best controller ive owned in several years though the paddles are overkill. Its heavier than most controllers which i feel means it was built better. Both sticks are really smooth and so far after its been in use i still dont have any issues with the stick hanging while also depressing them for either melee or sprint.

Have been using for over a year, the build quality is good, the trigger locks and replaceable sticks are nice, I would give it 5 stars but the back buttons/paddles that come off are magnetic and if you aren’t paying attention it’s way to easy to knock them out. Other than that absolutely love the controller.

I had always wanted a scuf so I started searching for them and saw that scufs were super expensive. People also started telling me that scufs weren’t that good and they became faulty very quickly. I saw this one and read the reviews and I thought I’d give it a shot. For half the price of a scuf, it can’t get any better than this. Easily the best controller I’ve ever owned and I love the feel of it. I’ll easily buy it again if I want another one.

This purchase was for my son, who has damaged previous controllers. The higher quality leaves him a little less frustrated, which might be aided by lower latency of the signal. Another useful aspect which he looked at as a 'bug' may also be beneficial - it is wired to the rest of the equipment and changes the power/battery requirements while still making it easy to be within reach, since the cord is long and does not seem to get in the way

Bought this close to a year ago, one month shy actually, and still going strong. Haven't had any issues whatsoever. I did have a wireless controller before this one, and it died in less than 6 months, so definitely recommend this wired controller. I know some people prefer the wireless controllers, but as expensive as these things can be, I want something that's going to last.

Great controller with a huge D-Pad design flaw

I really, really, REALLY wanted to keep this controller, but after trying 3 different controllers at 3 different Best Buys, they all suffered from the same general defect. Pros: -Fantastic build quality, looks and feels great -Repsonsive face buttons, not squishy / unresponsive like the Series controllers -Smooth joysticks, they feel great -Clicky bumpers that work great -Trigger stops are nice -Paddle attachment is great -Lock-in braided USB cable is great to prevent damage -Removable faceplate and swappable sticks is great -Comes with a nice carrying case Neutral -Triggers are okay, they're not bad but they don't feel as nice as official controllers -Controller is significantly heavier than regular controllers Cons -There's one main con and it made it unusable for me... the D-Pad is terrible. It's an awkward mixture of being both squishy and clicky, and is worse than any other official Xbox D-Pad I've ever used -Plus the real reason I had to return it, D-Pad defects. I tried 3 separate controllers, the first one was intermittently unresponsive when pressing Up, the second one was intermittently unresponsive when pressing Right, and the third one was intermittently unresponsive when pressing either Up or Right. This is a straight up unacceptable design flaw that should have never made it past the prototyping phase. I am a light button presser and and I only press the buttons/D-pads enough until they click, then I stop. The D-Pad clicks when pressed lightly which is great... but depending on the controller I tried, I had to keep pressing past the click until it mushed in and then it would register. For navigating menus in PSO2 or switching equipment in Gears of War it missed more inputs than I could count in just a single session.
