I can hear friends and my game just fine, but I sound like I'm 10 feet away from my microphone. I have tried other headsets, and it's definitely the controller. As for the removable paddles on the back, they are very loose and will come undone if I'm not careful. I was hoping this could be a cheaper alternative to the Xbox Elite controller, but I would honestly purchase the Elite over this. Or, if you aren't wanting/needing the paddles on the back, just go with a regular Xbox controller.

I hate to trash a product in the review section like this, but the quality is fair at best. I believe one of the 4 lettered buttons like my A or Y was continually getting stuck the first night I got it. I don't think any button felt good to click, but I will say the paddles once attached felt fine if anything did. The triggers feel pretty cheap as well. This is just my experience with it, as a disclosure.

Overall the tactile feel of the controller is good. The finish on the component material looks and feels premium. The industrial design / aesthetic is poor imo (color-way pallet mix and placement). Spend the extra money on Xbox one elite controller because not having to go through the time and stress of the return process is worth it if you value your free time. Decent controller but a gamble I wont make again when looking for a pro/premium product.
