Get another controller.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller is garbage, Got stick drift a month and a half in use. It's not just regular stick drift either. You use the left thumbstick and the right thumbstick also moves by itself. Ruins the aiming mechanics for any game. Not worth the price.

Excellent Solidly Built Wired Controller w/Lights
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PowerA - Spectra Enhanced Wired Controller for Xbox Series X|S - Spectra Infinity is a great controller. The first thing I noticed was a big bump up in the quality of build as compared to my other controllers. This is SOLID - more heft and the buttons have a quality feel. All of this gives a sense of durability and precision. I really like this. The added features just give more reasons to enjoy this controller. Extra buttons for extra features - and I definitely appreciate the on-controller volume/mute control for wired headphones. Then add the lights, which are bright and can be programmed to suit your taste. I have enjoyed my wireless controllers and thought a wired controller would be a step back. However, the build and responsiveness of this controller quickly overcame those concerns. It's now my go-to controller. All of this adds up to a great choice for a wired XBox controller.

Great Wired Replacement for Xbox X|S Controllers
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Spectra Infinity Wired Controller for Xbox Series X|S is one heck of a great choice in the wired sector of controllers. The main structure and feel is very close to the original controller you use on a daily basis with some great added features. Yes, it is wired, and I know most hate wires but guess what, wired is faster input and the best part, NO batteries to die when you are in the middle of a good game. The 10ft cable is enough for most but if it is not, a good USB extension cable is cheap and is helpful, I have to use one for my setup in the living room so kids do not trip. Now, take the traditional design and feel we are used to and add in two mappable buttons on the back that your fingers just happen to fall on naturally, they could not have placed them any better in my opinion. Also, the mapping is on the fly adjustable as well which is great for switching gameplay at any moment. The 3 way trigger locks are a nice touch, but I have not had to use them much personally but they are a nice option to have, I personally like the standard full throw but you can adjust them for shorter distance reaction. The LED lighting is one of the big features that is just a gimmick for selling, is doesn't make you a better player but on stream, it looks awesome and I had a few in chat ask what the controller was and how I liked it. To switch the lighting, it is super easy and you can even change it per zone and the breathing mode is neat and matches the LED mouse and keyboard I use for a full color show. The 3.5mm audio jack works as it should and has clear and clean sound along with it still utilizing the Dolby Access, it is a clear winner in the audio category for me. The share button is a cool touch but I only used it a few times before I went back to my normal setup. If you are not a streamer, the share button would be way more easily used. Another button is the one touch mute, very nice touch there and I give PowerA a 10/10 just for adding that to the design. And last, this controller does work on PC, I have made it my PC controller for now but the test above was based off my use on the Xbox X. If you want a great controller for gaming without the crazy price tag, but the PowerA setup and save your money!!

Good option for a wired controller.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The lights are the star of the show, so to speak. There are three zones and you can change to different light settings within each. I'm not the biggest fan of the thumbsticks in how they are styled. They take some getting used to if you have played a lot with a standard XBox controller. The cable is detachable, so no chance that you yank on it and have it be damaged at the connection point. Overall, a very solid wired controller with some customization and extra buttons that are useful. It's fairly lightweight since you don't have the added battery found in wireless controllers.

Not worth it, Pay for what you get
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You really do pay for what you get, i bought 2 of these controllers in 2 weeks and the same thing happened both times, the trigger stoppers broke within a week of light use. Not worth it at all so just spend the extra money for an elite controller

Great Xbox controller with custom RGB lights
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Spectra Xbox controller is a nice controller for the Xbox series. The build quality is good, especially the rubberized coating on the controller. The LED lights are a nice touch, which you can customize using the LED Program button on the back of the controller. It comes with a long braided cable. The controller also has the ability to remap buttons, along with 3 way trigger locks. Overall, it’s a nice controller for the Xbox.

Fun controller to play with
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to admit this thing is more advanced than i was prepared for. My sons loved the programmable colors and the long 10ft cable, but my plan was to program buttons so that i can finally beat them in some of the games we play. To be honest, I initially didnt take the time to program anything because I just wanted to play. All of the buttons are smooth and had good response. The toggle sticks have a good bit of grip on them which helps keep your thumbs from slipping off. After spending some time programming the buttons, I had to have some patience with it, but it worked generally well. I have to re-map some of them because I didnt like the way i mapped them, but all in all this is a pretty good controller. It's not as expensive as some other options on the market, but that doesnt mean it isnt as good. I forgot to mention the headset dial with mic mute but then again, i didnt use them. I dont typically like my kids using headsets because i cant monitor what is being said, but i think its a cool feature as well. All in all, this is a pretty nice rig and i might add another to compliment this one..

Rather small, but well made and flashy
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this controller. It's well constructed, and I like the fact that it can be personalized. This controller feels small to me. My hands are rather "average", but I feel like I'm struggling to hit the shoulder buttons and triggers more compared to other Xbox controllers. This isn't a deal breaker though. After a few minutes of gameplay, you start to get used to the narrower controller grip. The joysticks are responsive and easy to aim, the triggers have switches on the back so that you can tailor them to your taste, and the back of the controller has a lightly pebbled grip so that it rests comfortably in your hand. The controller comes with a nice, long braided cable. Surprisingly, it's detachable and plugs into the controller with a micro-USB connection. I find the fact that it's detachable a little odd since this controller only works as a wired controller. Maybe they added this so that you could replace it if the cable breaks? As far as personalization goes, the controller has three lighting zones that you can customize: The outer border, the left thumbstick and X/Y/B/A buttons, and the d-pad and right thumbstick. Each zone can be customized individually to display a different color. I'm rocking an orange / blue theme at the moment that looks really cool. I would recommend this controller to anyone looking for a fun controller that they can tailor to their taste.

comfortable to use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.great controller and for price. it is comfortable to use. love that you can change the lighting in different spots. having trigger stops is great especially for shooter games. and buttons on back are nice to have as well. normally you would have to move right thumb from joystick to have to press one of the 4 buttons. having 2 buttons (wish it had 4) allows you to select 2 of the buttons. my wife took it over though. she loves it. did not think she would because of it being wired. but she does and says the same thing that it feels nice, the cord is plenty long enough. she plays overcooked and unrailed and said she enjoys the trigger stops. overall glad to have this controller. if i had to complain, it would just be no software for pc. would be nice to have software to customize it easier.

Lights are fun
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The buttons provide enough push back, joysticks are a joy to use, and the lights are fun at night. The quality of this controller is excellent! Highly recommended to anyone in the market for a wired xbox series x/s controller.

Very cool effects on this controller
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller feels very good in the hands and the lighting effects are very cool. The pulsating one is my favorite but the customization ability is very nice too. Being wired has huge advantages in that you never have to worry about wireless lagging or random disconnects. Being wired also keeps the LEDs going effortlessly and charging a battery is one less thing you need to worry about when you're gaming. The build quality seems to be on par with the OEM controller and I see this controller lasting a long time.

An AWESOME Controller
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this controller. It is hard to get used to a wired controller again, but I can see why people do it. I love the 3-way trigger locks, as pushing the trigger a smaller amount to fire is amazing. The mappable buttons are also awesome. Being able to jump and aim at the same time is amazing. Protip: If you are just starting with these extra mappable buttons, just make them both "jump," it's a great way to get your fee wet. The customization of the colors is also cool, but unnecessary. This controller's functionality speaks for itself.
