    Not recommended. It freezes a lot and errors out. Not worth the money.

    My VR freezing up in middle of gaming,can't control anything have to shut it off

      Hey there JoskyO! If your headset is freezing while in any game, try hard rebooting the headset by holding the Power button for around 30 seconds, then test the games again. If this only affects specific games, try uninstalling and reinstalling them as well.     Received a defective product. Black screen after few days. Luckily under 15 days of refundable period.

    My son is not happy with the tracking on the new MQ3. Controllers do not keep track with headset which makes playing games difficult. Will be returning to store.

    Left controller keeps disconnecting. I went back four times to get it replaced. Still the same issue. Showed it to geek squad they couldn't figure it out either. There's a manufacturing issue with certain batches.

    Absolutely loved it, but I’m at the age where it made me so nauseous to play it. I had to return it.

    pass through is in color still sort of bad quality. hand tracking is good some games use it. What killed it for me and why i am returning it. I bought a rtx 4090 laptop. I install the app. the app says doesnt meet the min requirments. Back and forth with there tech. Hours spent. They say it doesnt meet min requirments. Then I releize maybe they dont have their hear up their @##. But then I check oculus website and says it supports rtx 40-series. So what now. Maybe take it back and wait for steam or apple <- very expesnive though. So for what i was going to use this for I have to give it 1 star cause their techs wasted my time.

    Item overheated and started smoking

    Used for 30 minutes and it started overheating and smoking. Called best buy for help, they said to safely dispose of the unit, and they would refund or replace. They said i would have the refund in 24-48 hours after a week of no answers. Then they changed and said I needed to return it after I disposed of it. Now I'm waiting on a supervisor to hopefully honor what they said. Super stressful. Short lived xmas gift.

    It stopped working you would think for 700$s it would last for more than a year but i guess not, like most stuff from best buy, i pay and lost out big time!!!

    It worked great for 3 weeks. Than locked up and would not turn off. The batter ran out and after a charge would not turn on. When returned they had no replacement and more where not on order.

    It’s cool but gives me a constant headache and hurts my eyes it’s somehow more fun using my friends than just having my own and the games are to expensive I would use it if your lazy and want some lame form of exercise

    Hey all, mine stopped working the same day, while riding my recumbent bike it stopped responding and the headset reversed motion then shut down and sadly never to restart ever again. It was returned for a refund and I won’t purchase again until they fix it. I do not recommend purchasing until Meta fixes the problem.

    Purchased one from the west ridge store on 11/27/2024 fast-forward to today where I go into warranty out the item because it will not charge and they tell me that I am trying to scam them because the serial number is on the meta-quest do not match the serial numbers on my receipt and to leave the store because I am trying to scam them

      Hi there DERisio, thanks for making us aware of this.

      The reason the serial number doesn't match will be because the serial number on the receipt will be for the box itself rather than the headset.

      Each component in the box will also have their own unique serial number, the reason being in case of one component needing replaced rather than the whole kit.

      So if you still have the box we would recommend taking that with you so that they honor the replacement.
