We got the insurance on it and had it replaced the same day we made the appointment. So far the new one is working fine but I do recommend you buy the extended warranty.

I absolutely love it! I’ve been trying to get all of my friends and family to purchase one as well. Definitely a great purchase I am very happy with it. I only wish the battery lasted longer but overall it’s a great buy and I highly recommend!

Great upgrade from Quest 2

The new lense design in this model is the best yet . You have a much better field of view now and the processor is a significant jump forward! Bulld quality overall seems good . My only advice would be to get the add on battery strap . It is a pretty hungry power user , the additional battery capacity will definitely help keep you up and running for a greater amount of time .

I recommend the 512GB version over the 128GB version. Or maybe just wait for the supposed upcoming Quest3 Lite (or cheaper model), and get a 256GB version of that. Be warned that the quest 3 burns through battery life noticeably quicker than Quest 2. About 1hr 30min, maybe 1hr 45min. I wear a sports belt back that holds phones when running (ahem - a 'fanny back'? lol) - and I have a $20 external lithium battery in there, with cable going up my shirt to the headset. That gets me another 1.5hrs of playtime!

I would say start by sitting down using it. Then later movie towards standing. To help with the dizziness. The store is great easy to use. Out the box it charged enough to get you started. Do yourself a favor and get a better head strap the one that comes with it. It isn’t great. Watching you tube on it is awesome and if you pair with your windows pc or mac laptop it’s even better.

If you want the best VR headset, this is it.

I'm not a big FB or Meta fan, but the headset is a different story. The Pan cake lens are a game changer, and you can use just the headset or connect it to a PC.
