Having used the PSVR2 extensively, I was curious if the Quest 3 would be a true step up. The answer is an emphatic YES. This device is on a completely different level, and I am blown away. The first and most obvious game-changer is being completely wireless. After being tethered to a console, the freedom of movement with the Quest 3 is liberating. There are no more tangled cables or fears of tripping—it completely elevates the immersion in every single game. Visually, the pancake lenses are a massive improvement. The entire display is crystal clear from edge to edge, with none of the "sweet spot" hunting I had to do on the PSVR2. The full-color passthrough for mixed reality is also incredible; playing games that integrate with your actual living room feels like a glimpse into the future and is something the PSVR2 just can't compete with. Being a standalone headset with 512GB of storage means I have a massive library ready to go anywhere, without being tied to a console. If you're coming from a PSVR2 or any other wired headset, this is the upgrade you've been waiting for. It's a truly next-generation experience.

Completely worth the buy when I used to play PCVR with my quest two it was always laggy, but ever since I got the quest three my performance has boosted dramatically

A very massive upgrade from the Rift S. Very much recommend if you are on a VR generation of Rift S or older. The increase in resolution increases immersion immensely. The only downsides is battery life is kind of poor, even hooked up to the wall charging while playing half the time can't get to 2 hours of playtime without a low battery warning.

I got this for my 82 year old father, who is on dialysis and may be soon confined to a wheelchair. This device has been great! It took him awhile to figure all the buttons and he still gets a little confused, but him using it has be awsome. I haven't seen him that active in a long time. He's getting his exercise and I'm happy he's moving on his own. Told all my family and friends about this device and some have gotten their parents one too.

Incredible views of virtual worlds. Super light and easy to setup

Bought the Meta 3 for my husband who has wanted a VR headset for a long time. After watching him play and seeing what it has to offer, I bought myself one! Love getting Meta Horizon+ free for 3 months while we try out different styles of games. So far the Supernatural workout game has been awesome (even for me and I hate working out), and Demo is such a cool version of tabletop gaming!

I have been slow to pick up VR. Im old enough to remember Virtual Boy by Nintendo and well lets just say it needed work. But innovative. When VR in the current era came around I watched but didnt engage because I am content with gaming on a screen. But when I began reading about Vision Pro that Apple is about to release I realized that Meta Quest 3 might be worth a shot for its price, and it will let me know if these companies are on to something. Well from the moment I turned this on I was captivated. To put it into words is hard, but lets just say that it blew my mind. The graphics aren’t stellar, but very good, the immersion is amazing though. Just setting up my little spaceship lobby was a blast. Then I started checking out the virtual social area. I walked into a concert and began a conversation with someone frim who knows where. It was really so much more immersive than using a headset on my consoles. Some if the games I’ve tried are addicting and I am excited for more. I am truly happy getting into this VR space. Meta is a great value to experience purchase. I am not sure about upcoming devices that will be much pricier but if you are looking to try VR, don’t hesitate getting this device

My son wanted one for a long time. He has a lot of fun with it. We got the insurance on it and had it replaced the same day we made the appointment. So far the new one is working fine but I do recommend you buy the extended warranty.

Much better than the version before. I am able to create mases for 3d printing and play games on 3D.

Overall, the Meta Quest has been an awesome experience. It’s great for gaming, fitness, creativity, and even hanging out with friends in virtual spaces. Totally worth it if you love tech, movement, or just want to try something new and exciting.

Love this headset! Games look amazing. Wish the battery life was a bit better but a quick order from Amazon solved that.

The 3 is much better than the 3s because this is 4k where the 3s is not

I love it! It gives me and the kids fun things to do together. I also purchased two more so the kids don’t fight over who gets to play.

Awesome product, cool games, was dizzy the first couple of times but got use to it. Movies are great on it.

I love the new Meta. I have a previous model and all the updates with this version make it much more enjoyable. As another reviewer suggested, I decided to get the bobo VR headset with it and love the ability to have hot swappable batteries so I can extend the life of the unit. Without it I was having to stop mid game often as my headset was running out of battery life. Being able to watch movies on a huge screen had been very enjoyable also. Also after buying when the updated lower tier version went on the market I saw they dropped the price. I was upset until I realized I could get a price match. It was one of the quickest service I’ve ever had. The sales rep verified my account and in under an hour my account was credited the over $100 difference. Thank you.

My grandsons love this headset to play the games with.

I’ve had the quest 2 for 2 years and i upgraded to the 512gb model of the quest 3. It ran smoothly and it was a lot better than the 2. Only issue is when i try activating meta plus through the app and email i was sent, it prompts me to pay and its only one month.

Amazing device and would buy agian do recommend the head band upgrade and battery pack but to start out very fun.
