I haven't messed with VR since the original Occulus Rift came out many years ago. This was a huge leap forward from that. The resolution is amazing, as well as the sound from those small over ear speakers. Mixed reality is great - although it suffers in dimly lit rooms. Using VirtualDesktop I can also stream PC games easily.

I recently had the chance to try out the Meta Quest 3, and while it was an interesting experience, I found it to be a mixed bag. The good news is that the device can be quite fun, with engaging games and innovative features. I also tried using it as a virtual computer screen, and it worked fairly well for that purpose. However, I encountered some notable drawbacks that made it hard to fully enjoy. One major issue for me was eye strain. Whether I was gaming or using it as a virtual screen, I often felt like my eyes were working too hard to focus. In addition, certain games made me nauseous. Another issue was with the mixed reality feature. While it was cool to see the room I was in, the image of the room appeared grainy and lacked clarity. After reading reviews, I learned that this might be due to the processor not being strong enough to handle mixed reality effectively, which seems like a significant oversight for a premium-priced device. At its current cost, I didn’t feel it was worth trying to push through the discomfort and eye strain. While the concept is exciting and the device has potential, these flaws made it a disappointing experience overall.

Overall, the Meta Quest has been an awesome experience. It’s great for gaming, fitness, creativity, and even hanging out with friends in virtual spaces. Totally worth it if you love tech, movement, or just want to try something new and exciting.

There’s a lot of things to like about the Quest 3, even though I’m a little late to the party - The price is good for the quality of the product. What other VR headset exists out that that offers VR/AR capabilities, with tons of games, productivity uses, and third party accessories? I don’t think any. - The ability to plug it into your PC and play your VR games from your PC is awesome. And i like the wireless PC playability too (although it can be a little glitchy at times. Its not perfect) - I really enjoy the AR aspects. Watching movies and YouTube in the browser is awesome and the picture looks great. AR still has a ways to go however. Anything that is virtual while in AR looks very HD, but anything real arounds you looks grainy and a little odd. I hope in future models they work towards something more clear. - I have no clue why anyone would buy an Apple Vision Pro, when it only has slightly better AR than this and is $3000 more than this. - Customizability is awesome. There are tons of Meta and third party accessories you can buy for this. - Xtadium is really, really cool. Hopefully its the future of sports broadcasting. More sports leagues need to get in on Xtadium because it really enhances your viewing for NBA games by a lot. I had an awesome time watching it, and i dont even really keep up with the NBA! Its a great product, i just wish there was a few things tweeked to make it even better, like AR quality. VR is getting better and better.

I love the oculus definitely a buy. One thing though is the life battery and the motion sickness. I have found if you sit in a chair and get used to the oculus on ur face you will be good. But I love the graphics so clean and slick. And the games are no match. I play a lot of my xbox games on it and it's a game changer.

We got this for Christmas as a gift to our son and he absolutely loves the Meta Quest 3!! We even got on it for a bit to see what the hype was all about and it truly is such an awesome and unique experience. He had been saving up to buy it himself and when we surprised him, he cried. He’s played on his cousins Meta Quest and after seeing the way it has helped him get out of his shell and communicate with online friends (he has autism) has been a treat in itself but it keeps him active too, which is so important, it’s a much better option than sitting on your butt at this age and playing Xbox and not being active. We are highly impressed with the graphics and games that are available as well. Overall a great purchase!

Great VR experience. Love the resolution. Takes some time for eyes to adjust. You might get some headaches at first or feel motion sickness. The product is great, though. My only complain so far is the head strap isn’t very efficient. For the price, they should include the premium head strap instead of the elastic straps.

I play every night, thoroughly enjoy the experience every single time. I have a huge appreciation for the design. You will need an extra battery pack for it if you plan to do extended gaming.

The quest 3 provides some of the clearest easily accessible consumer vr experiences possible with significant comfort improvements compared the quest 2 due to reduced weight. All of these pros definitely make it worth it if you’re a vr enjoyer however many games on the platform still lack that feel and polish of many modern flatscreen titles.

I have the HTC Vive, Quest and the Quest 2. But the Quest is by far the best VR headset I have had the pleasure to own and use! The pass thru is great, the augmented reality is really cool (and awesome in games), and the resolution of the Quest 3 is superior to all the others. If you are upgrading, I would highly recommend the Quest 3. The 3s is good, but the 3 is the best thing out there. Well worth the added expense!

All around it is an excellent product! It is compatible with 3D and 360 and ios spatial, and qoo cam too. Works with insta 360x4. They increased the memory to 512gb and lowerd the price! Color passthrough, hand control! Giant screen for movies! I bought the “real” glasses for $500. They are merely a screen that isn’t big at all, and is merely a screen built into glasses. The meta 3 is the real deal! The movie screen is gigantic! Or you can make it smaller. In 360 its completely surround you! Up, down, front , back and sides! You are immersedin the movie! In games too! Its both Virtual Reality and augmented reality! It just keeps getting better! Buy it! You won’t regret it! The investment in entertainment is well worth it.

I love this, it was the best purchas ive made. I use this everyday the functions are awesome, the controller and the headest comes with the full kit, which is nice because i i have glasses and it comes with the glasses piece with it.

Works well, looks great also fits comfortably. I mean im comparing it to the rift s which is kinda garbage so I might be overrating it a little but still great. Also the batman game is kinda cool.

Bought the Meta 3 for my husband who has wanted a VR headset for a long time. After watching him play and seeing what it has to offer, I bought myself one! Love getting Meta Horizon+ free for 3 months while we try out different styles of games. So far the Supernatural workout game has been awesome (even for me and I hate working out), and Demo is such a cool version of tabletop gaming!

I got this for my 82 year old father, who is on dialysis and may be soon confined to a wheelchair. This device has been great! It took him awhile to figure all the buttons and he still gets a little confused, but him using it has be awsome. I haven't seen him that active in a long time. He's getting his exercise and I'm happy he's moving on his own. Told all my family and friends about this device and some have gotten their parents one too.

Great quality. Wish had better battery life but performance is excellent.

They only issue is the battery life, i know its standalone but after a few years and the battery life has only increased by about 5 minutes is crazy to me! Other than that, it has worked flawlessly so far.

Fantastic device. Passthrough is way improved over the Quest 2. Love it!
