Overall it is alot of fun. You need to buy the upgraded battery strap. It works with steam and unlocks many more games and demos. I also upgraded the mask but would buy the breathable one if i had to do it again, i will pickup one the next time I am at Best buy. I would buy this again, alot of fun.

Quest 1 was too underpowered and games ran but not too well, quest 2 ran games better but it still felt underpowered and not ideal for multitasking… but this quest 3 finally have JUST enough power to play all uts games butterly smooth, and I can play a game- hit the home button and respond to a Facebook message, and return to the game without closing it! I enjoy booting up and getting into games then my quest 2 friends. The pass through is - usable. I did wash the dishes while watching youtube, which is amazing. But the pass through is so blurry and I can barely check my watch or iphone bur under the right lighting I barely can… BUT when playing games with pass through you wont notice it and its so amazing!the controllers are amazing and much better then quest 2! I really can’t recommend this enough, for under $1000 we are getting CLOSE to lower end pc vr, but till then this is the best gaming focused vr headset

Great for personal or hosting

Very eye opening and definitely breaks the room with laughter and sometimes to much excitement. It’s also great for personal use as I watch NBA games from court side on my couch.

Better than the gym

Having a headset has helped me fix my back issues, I work from home and sit at a desk way too much. Being able to take a fun break while standing has been really nice. The Quest 3 is such good vale for the money compared to other headsets.

Best equipment for the price

It's comfy to wear (with the Elite strap), has a variety of uses, and I'm still learning cool new functions every time I use it. Supports spatial/360 videos and Batman Arkham Shadow is a Meta exclusive.

The quality of the picture in the lens is great compared to the Quest 3s but the processing power is about the same. Honestly the best way to use this headset is connecting it to a pc for higher end games like the Batman or Deadpool game. But for your normal games that aren’t as demanding will still work well. Not sure if it’s worth the price if you’re not gonna use it often though.

The Pancake style lenses the Quest 3 has do provide a much better image quality compared to the Fresnel lenses our other headsets use. Along with that while the Quest 3 is a fantastic standalone device, using it with Meta Horizon Link for some PCVR gaming can really heighten your VR experience!
We look forward to seeing where your future adventures take you once you get through Batman: Arkham Shadow and Marvel's Deadpool VR!

If you want something better, its going to cost twice the price and be a marginal upgrade at best. So if you really want a worthwhile upgrade, its going to cost 5x.
