But this…this is a whole new level. The new passthrough capability, the hand tracking, the new lenses, the speed and smoothness, everything. The new Quest 3 is quite the powerhouse for the money. I recently used a friend’s Apple Vision Pro which was a futuristic experience, to say the least, and it completely spoiled me. But after purchasing my Quest 3, I feel that this has so much capability for the money that it is almost unbelievable. The new lenses coupled with the smaller form factor and new full color passthrough capabilities make this one of the most impressive experiences for less than $1000 you can get. I highly recommend this whether it’s for productivity, play, or just general entertainment. Watching movies is a great time, taking virtual tours is unbelievable, placing tiles around your real environment and interacting with apps without having to use a controller is such a neat experience. The future is here and its getting cooler every day.

Stick drift on left controller within the first year. Other than that games run smoothly and are super crisp.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to improve your experience:
Restart & Cache Clear - If ambience audio continues during gameplay, restart the headset and clear the app cache. This often resolves temporary software glitches.
System Update - Make sure your headset is running the latest software version. Updates frequently include bug fixes for issues like audio overlap.
Controller Recalibration - For stick drift, recalibrate the controller through the device settings. This can realign the sensors and reduce drift.
Controller Cleaning - Dust or debris around the joystick can cause drift. Gently clean around the stick with compressed air or a soft cloth.

Better graphics and the mixed reality is why I bought it. The battery life is not very good, i did buy a strap with an additional battery and it tripled the battery life.

The graphics are amazing the only down fall is the battery life. It drains fast so be ready to chatge it frequently. Other than that its a good item.

She loves it! She plays her game through steam, that seems to work well. She also received a Meta gift card to purchase a game directly from the Meta Quest store. Way better except for battery

I love the color passthrough that allows a whole different element with AR gaming. The only thing that hasn't improved is the battery life. The 3s is cheaper due to having some limitations in graphics and lenses but has longer battery life. I think spending the extra $100 for the 3 is worth it.

Use without controllers and no wire like the PlayStation one. Headsets a little uncomfortable but can be fixed with a different strap

It works flawless, the quest store has tons of games and applications to offer. PCVR is also superb, wireless or with link cable work great. Very impressed after using multiple different headsets.

I had a Valve Index and i was wondering if it would be worth the upgrade. Im very happy with the Meta Quest. The screen is really clear! The screen door effect is very minimal and really not that noticeable at all even in menus. This has been a great upgrade from my Index. I would definitely recommend getting the new strap for it, it makes it a lot more comfortable. This is very easy to use anywhere and to setup. Even if your not tech savvy this is really easy to use. This is a great gift or just if your into Virtual Reality this really makes you feel as if you are in the world you are exploring. This makes for a great escape when you need to!

The technology is still decades away from sword art online, unfortunately. The system works as intended and advertised, but the multiplayer community for vr games is very small. Also, gun games mostly make it clear you are no good at aiming. I would recommend this product if you want to play simple games with an immersive feel, but not if you want graphics on par with xbox or playstation a decade ago. If you have glasses, look into getting lenses for this system.
