I have long been a 3d and such tech aficionado and had the nvidia 3d vision way back in 1999 and then nvidia 3d vision in 2007 ish and bought PS VR in 2016 ish. nvidia 3d vision on a 3d projector was just insane. Playing older Steam games like Rainbow Six in 3d just made the gaming incredible on a 120" wall projected screen. I wanted to get into VR as well early but I got busy and also PS VR gave me a headache from the weight and moving the head around like a maniac will do that. So I avoided it after that even though it was great. Finally bought the Meta Quest 3 and it is incredible. It is obviously 3d and you get amazing depth perception and you feel like you're there like those old arcade games like Tank where you're standing and your head goes into that bowl and you look and move around standing there and shoot. However this is 100x better. Google Earth is just incredible and the best. Especially if you want to take a tour or visit your home or other places. Youtube VR is insane. Regular Youtube is also amazing. Obviously you can use it for those cheeky NSFW videos as well. The mixed reality with passthrough is just incredible you don't bump into things and you integrate the game into your room itself. That is something. We're truly nearing pinnacle of human civilization. Overall, Meta Quest 3 at $500 is the best buy. I would rate this a 9.5/10. The battery discharges super quick so I have a cable that allows charging while plugged into my gaming laptop from 2020 (nvidia gtx 2070m which does incredibly well).

Meta 3 is wild. Graphics are sharp, passthrough actually works, and it feels like a legit leap forward from the Quest 2. Lighter on the face, smoother gameplay, and hand tracking is scary accurate. If you’re on the fence—get off it. This thing delivers.

I'm crazy about my new Oculus headset and use it several times a week. I'm not a big gamer, but that doesn't matter because I'm enjoying old-school pastimes like billiards and pinball, I'm working out, and I'm watching video. I've purchased prescription lens inserts from Zenni to go with it, and they snapped right in with no trouble. The resolution in this headset is way better than that of the Meta Quest 2, and mixed reality is my new favorite feature. I highly recommend MR games, especially if you have pets or small children running through your field of play. I worried I was spending too much for something I might not use, but that turns out not to have been a problem. I'm getting my money's worth.

I bought this with high expectations. I already own a set of VR glasses that are pretty impressive, but they are not as immersive as VR goggles. After doing lots of research and reading, I splurged and bought the 512GB version. I plugged it in to charge the battery and finished reading the manual. After setting it up, which is a long process of creating accounts and configuring it for first use, and learning the controls. This process took around 45 minutes at which time the battery was almost dead when done. Back to the charger it went. After charging it again, I immediately went to the App Store and went on the search for a Live TV app. One of the key reasons for purchasing this was for live TV. I mean, you find it right on Meta's website, it says "Live TV". Well forget it. No live TV. I installed a couple other apps for video content, VR and others. I have a PLEX server and wanted to use it. No PLEX App either. I had to purchase a 3rd party app to access my PLEX server. This app left a little to be desired. I did eventually get it to connect, and after watching about 35 minutes of video, I need to recharge it again. I will try more tomorrow I thought. After recharging yet again, I decided to go at it again before going to bed. Disappointment ofter disappointment. I plugged it into the charger and went to bed. In the morning, I tried out some impressive deep immersive apps that show off the Meta's capabilities. I even tried out some games. Very impressive graphics and performance. But I need to charge it again after an hour. Also, the Meta is very heavy. My cheek bones were in pain and I was getting a headache. I noticed that an hour max was my limit before having to take it off due to discomfort. All in all, the Meta is I guess cool. The website is misleading in all of its capabilities. No it can't do live TV. Apps I am used to are missing, lots of the apps are low quality, it is very heavy and the battery life is insanely short. I guess the battery life is not so bad since I can't wear it more than 60 minutes. Needless to say I took it back. For that much money, it was just not worth it to me. 3 stars from me.

Utterly amazing! From cool games to watching movies on giant screens in VR. Also the mixed reality is well worth it. A great upgrade from the Quest 2.

Coming from PSVR, VR technology has definitely improved tremendously in the past 10 years. Even older titles like Beat Saber and Pistol Whip feel more immersive and smoother.

I had been on the fence about purchasing on of these headsets. I had a Valve Index and i was wondering if it would be worth the upgrade. Im very happy with the Meta Quest. The screen is really clear! The screen door effect is very minimal and really not that noticeable at all even in menus. This has been a great upgrade from my Index. I would definitely recommend getting the new strap for it, it makes it a lot more comfortable. This is very easy to use anywhere and to setup. Even if your not tech savvy this is really easy to use. This is a great gift or just if your into Virtual Reality this really makes you feel as if you are in the world you are exploring. This makes for a great escape when you need to!

This thing is awesome! Its pricey but worth it. The visuals are better than the Quest 2 and you can definitely tell the performance increase with the the extra memory and processor power. I'd advise getting Meta Quest Elite Strap with Battery too for longer use time. If you have a Quest 2, its worth the upgrade.

It’s hard to find any real negatives with the Quest 3 — it’s a clear upgrade in every way compared to the Quest 2. One of the most important improvements is the lenses. This is exactly why it’s worth upgrading to the Quest 3 and not the Quest 3s. The 3s uses the same lenses as the Quest 2, which means you won’t get the full visual experience that defines this new generation. Personally, I’ve noticed a big difference — the improved clarity and comfort make it way easier to use for longer sessions, and I don’t get motion sickness nearly as much as I used to. If you’re on the fence, I’d definitely recommend the Quest 3. It’s the first headset that really feels like it gets everything right.

This headset is amazing, the passthrough technology is stunning and there are plenty of games now that take advantage of it. I've also enjoyed VR titles like Batman Arkham and Dungeons of Eternity and Walkabout Mini Golf. My only reasons for not giving 5 stars are the battery life is somewhat low (2 hours of gaming) and the included head strap is difficult to adjust properly and slightly uncomfortable. I fixed these issues by buying a 3rd party head strap and battery, but this should really not be necessary for a device at this price. All in all I'm still very happy with it.

This is really cool. I don't really use it stand alone, I connect it to my Steam account and play my VR Steam games on it. It really works perfectly. Non VR games work great to, it is like playing on a huge screen. I've played 3D movies and that works okay, but plays several types of formats. Google Earth is really fun. The eye pieces are adjustable so it works with all types of eye spacing. I haven't noticed the screen door effect because the resolution is high enough to hide it. I bought the BoboVR S3 to replace the strap to mount to the head. It fits better than stock and has an external battery. I can only play for a little while because I get a little sick, but others don't. I got one for myself and one for my son. We have a blast!

Whoa.... Yes, the Meta Quest 3 512GB, is incredible and lives up to the hype. I'm not sure why anyone would buy the 3s version, you'd really be cheating yourself not upgrading to the 4K picture, more memory and more storage. As a PSVR owner, I waffled back and forth between the PSVR 2 and the Meta Quest 3, and with the lack of games currently available for the PSVR 2, I decided to go with the Meta Quest 3, and boy am I glad I did. Not only does the the MQ3 have a lot of the same games that are on the PSVR 2, but the amazing app library on the MQ3 is what really sets it apart. If you can afford the $500, get it! You will not be disappointed. You will want to get a charging dock, and maybe a case if you plan on traveling with it, and be prepared for the facial interface to start smelling after only a few days. I have tried washing the fabric, but I think the best option is to purchase some extra interfaces made of a non-fabric material. Personally, I recommend the AMVR Facial Interfaces made of silk cotton. The AMVR brand is also designed for people who wear glasses.

Me and my boyfriend decided to upgrade from the meta quest 2 to the meta quest 3, we only got one of them for him, to test it out and it’s amazing. The graphics are so much better and it runs so much more smoothly and quickly then the 2, we plan to come back and buy another.

The product is significantly better than previous versions. The graphics are outstanding. The game library has finally caught up, providing much more variety. The cons to having great graphics in a standalone headset is what you’d expect. Product has a very short battery life, so I’d recommended purchasing the external battery as well.

Honestly to start out i absolutely loved my quest 2, but the quest 3 blows the quest 2 outta the water in every way, shape, and form. The pancake lenses are a massive upgrade, way more fov. Every game ive come back to whether its on the quest shop or steam, I notice a much clearer picture. Its just all around a better headset. The worst part of it honestly is the elite strap, its extremely uncomfortable and i honestly recommend the kiwi headstrap.

I love how easy it is to go into Best Buy explain the situation and they understand you and work with you. I purchased my first Meta Quest 3 and I noticed it was taking less than an hr. to charge it and nothing would load and the Meta button wouldn't work. And a couple times the game play would come up to start a game. I returned the Quest to Best Buy, explained what was happening and Best Buy was more than happy to replace my Quest 3 with a new one and the replacement Quest hasn't had any issues. Thank you Best Buy for making returns enjoyable and hassle free. I buy all of my electronics from Best Buy, my laptops, iPads, phones and gaming devices. Thank you Best Buy.

I love my Meta Quest 3. I use it as often as I can. I love dropping into another world. I haven’t tried the included Batman game yet. I have recently discovered VR Table Tennis. I also play Beat Saber all the time. We’re just getting started

Runs a lot smoother and faster than quest 2, just need a better head strap than the default one it comes with.

Graphics are geeat. Is not worth full price..due to battery life...and the see through is awesome but not great. Thought i could use it on a regular basis. Bought extra battery and headband with fan it helps.
