Bought this for my birthday and have not been able to play it because my daughter lives on it. Overall it is alot of fun. You need to buy the upgraded battery strap. It works with steam and unlocks many more games and demos. I also upgraded the mask but would buy the breathable one if i had to do it again, i will pickup one the next time I am at Best buy. I would buy this again, alot of fun.

Without PCVR : The Quest 3 compared to its counterparts has excellent visual resolution due to the Pancake lenses. However, brightness is dark compared to the PSVR 2 due to excluding OLED technology. Additionally if you wear glasses, it is a good idea to purchase prescription lenses to avoid scratching Q3 lenses. I purchased from HONSVR which has worked excellently. The Q3 default strap is a complaint I have, but I didn't have the chance to test comfort of the headset with the prescription lenses. I had issues with Q3 weight on my nose bridge due to the Q3. Some other sources recommend the Elite strap (3rd party I believe), and other products. The battery life is poor and lasts ~2-2.5 Hours on full brightness. As a result, I had to purchase a portable charger. When hooked up, the Q3 is prone to reaching high temperatures. Meta horizons and the Meta scape in general is still in its infancy, so I wasn't very impressed by the social features. But the mixed reality is amazing (FIgmenXR), and games like Asgards Wrath 2 and Beatsaber are definitely must haves. Meta's inability to include a 256 GB product is predatory due to 128 being too little, and 512 being a bit excessive. If you aren't using PCVR, then please know your Quest3 use case so you aren't over or under budgeting.

I cannot stop talking about this meta quest 3! The graphics are amazing and the view through to the real world especially your own room and having floating screens all over the place is absolutely amazing highly recommend upgrading if you already have the two version or even just buying it if it's your first time!

The Quest 3 is a huge improvement over the Quest 2 in nearly every way and is easily the best VR headset offering currently. The biggest thing that stood out to me is the clarity. The image is very clear, across the entire visual field, and the pixel density seems better than even the Index. No more "sweet spots" like the Quest 1 or 2. Also good news for glasses wearers: you can use the Quest 3 just fine while keeping your glasses on. You can adjust the face gasket of the Quest 3 to keep a bit of distance between your eyeglasses and the display lenses. The audio is pretty good, an improvement over the Quest 2, but nowhere near audiophile levels yet. Battery level is between 1 and 2 hours of continuous use, which is the same as most wireless VR headsets. Honestly, the only improvements this headset could use are a dedicated and official Steam VR app or something. That, and the ability to sort your library.

Absolutely am satisfied with this purchase, my son loves it and I find myself using it when he’s asleep lol definitely recommend !

My son went from an Oculus 2 to a 3. They have changed some things for the better such as the lenses inside. He said he really likes it compared to the 2. We haven't run into any issues with it. I do also like that Oculus has a variety of games my son loves to play including multi-player games so hes able to meet other kids and talk to them.

I had been debating for a long time on upgrading from my Quest 2 and I am so happy I did. Overall a much more enjoyable experience. The controller feedback is better, the screens are better, the battery is better. Overall I am very pleased with my upgrade.

My son loves it! He says it's so much better than other vrs that he's owned, I'm glad we got the newest, he's happy with everything so far.

The meta quest is awesome I love it so far. The only complaint is I wish there were more mainstream games on it but otherwise it’s awesome.

I haven't messed with VR since the original Occulus Rift came out many years ago. This was a huge leap forward from that. The resolution is amazing, as well as the sound from those small over ear speakers. Mixed reality is great - although it suffers in dimly lit rooms. Using VirtualDesktop I can also stream PC games easily.

I really really Love this vr. I play it with my friends!
