I have been slow to pick up VR. Im old enough to remember Virtual Boy by Nintendo and well lets just say it needed work. But innovative. When VR in the current era came around I watched but didnt engage because I am content with gaming on a screen. But when I began reading about Vision Pro that Apple is about to release I realized that Meta Quest 3 might be worth a shot for its price, and it will let me know if these companies are on to something. Well from the moment I turned this on I was captivated. To put it into words is hard, but lets just say that it blew my mind. The graphics aren’t stellar, but very good, the immersion is amazing though. Just setting up my little spaceship lobby was a blast. Then I started checking out the virtual social area. I walked into a concert and began a conversation with someone frim who knows where. It was really so much more immersive than using a headset on my consoles. Some if the games I’ve tried are addicting and I am excited for more. I am truly happy getting into this VR space. Meta is a great value to experience purchase. I am not sure about upcoming devices that will be much pricier but if you are looking to try VR, don’t hesitate getting this device

This was a great Xmas gift for my son.i was so happy when he opened it and to see his smile.

My son loves this. He is one it every weekend and keeps him very active.

I love this, it was the best purchas ive made. I use this everyday the functions are awesome, the controller and the headest comes with the full kit, which is nice because i i have glasses and it comes with the glasses piece with it.

Amazing vr headset battery life is the only thing thats a pain but its good for a vr headset

Games are great and this headset is simple and easy to use with ease

Lightweight. Getting Arkham on it was a bit of a hassle but worked out. Good hand tracking controllers (wish they were rechargeable). The extended battery from quest 2 doesn’t work

I play every night, thoroughly enjoy the experience every single time. I have a huge appreciation for the design. You will need an extra battery pack for it if you plan to do extended gaming.

Battery life stinks but really enjoy the rest of the VR experience, also being used for PCVR. After buying an aftermarket battery head strap the battery issue is negated, but just leaving the headset sit idle not plugged in you will always come back to a dead battery because they constantly update in the background. You can turn this off but when you want to use it, have to let it update.

First time trying a vr headset. Quality product that definitely surpassed my expectations.

Much lighter weight than the Quest 2. Extremely comfortable straight out of the box. I wasted a lot of money shopping on after-market, facial interface gear to make my Quest 2 more comfortable. Every conceivable add-on is available on the Meta web site. The only drawback is waiting for upgraded games, apps, and content.

• Go for it if: You don’t already own a high-end VR headset, you want a stand-alone device with minimal fuss, you’d like to try MR/digital-real world blending, and you want something future-ready. • Maybe wait or consider alternatives if: You only game occasionally and battery life/comfort for short sessions is critical, or you have a very tight budget and can live with last-gen (e.g., Quest 2) or another less expensive model. • Make sure: You have space to use it safely (room-scale or enough clearance for your movements), you’re fine with wearing it for the duration of your play/experience, and you’re aware non-VR uses (like full productivity MR) may still be limited.

Great system. My daughter loves hers and my son in law loves his. Nice upgrade from the 2.

I was on the fence upgrading from the Quest 2, but I'm glad I did! The experience is substantially improved IMO, and I'm really enjoying going back and replaying games with the improved resolution and comfort. AR functions are really neat, and I can't wait to see what other improvements and additions come down the road!

I’ve had the quest 2 for 2 years and i upgraded to the 512gb model of the quest 3. It ran smoothly and it was a lot better than the 2. Only issue is when i try activating meta plus through the app and email i was sent, it prompts me to pay and its only one month.

Our son cant stop playing it. He really enjoys it. We might get one ourselves.

This is one of the best purchases I made. And I use this for playing Sports that I used to play. And really a great product.

Kids are having fun with it, amazing what technology can do.
