The meta quest 3 is so amazing I highly recommend this to anyone.

I just got my new meta quest 3. I have only used it 3 times and the toxic rubber that Meta Quest uses on their face mask goggles is burning my face. They need to recall the rubber lining and replace it with a non toxic cloth of some kind that no one is allergic to.

Headset and battery are an improvement over the Quest2, but the controllers have regressed and the hand motions and orientation tends to get screwed up during the game.

Super fun, I love the variety of games. Great for browsing as well

Everything was upgraded and the controller is way better.

I got the sunset a few months ago and I finally realized how bad it is The tracking is straight doo doo and very, very poor. But the headset itself is pretty good, but if you use it mainly for a gorilla tag, never, and I mean, NEVER buy this headset plus they want you to pay $250 for the quest pro controllers just to fix the tracking Thanks for ruining VR for me... Mixed reality has really changed my mind on its capabilities.

The limited amount of games, plus the small amount of space to play the games with the sensors, doesnt make it a good investment. Then on top of that a monthly membership.

Do not buy this item. The Quest 3 and the 2 had the same issue. The tracking will stop working at some point and go to a black screen. There is no fix for this issue only replacement. If you are out of warranty over a year old they will not assist and tell you to just buy a new one that has a high propensity to hardware fail as well. There are many people on their 3rd or 4th replacements that have the same issues and Meta is not addressing it obviously since they put out the Meta 3 without correcting the problems that the Quest 2 also had.

The headset didnt have a setting that made the screens clear for me. I have a normal sized head and have 20/10 vision. The system wasnt very intuitive and there were contant glitches while trying to watch a movie. Also the lack of an OLED screen really makes blacks more gray. Overall, it has potential but it wasnt for me. Maybe the future versions will be better.

I don't notice any progress in quality from the quest 2 other than the super grainy "passthrough" now has a little bit of dull color. Everything takes forever to load & there's not games with any real gameplay available from oculus/meta to justify loading this long. I've been trying to get steam games to work for the last 5 hours with this 'quest 3' running into problems at every turn no matter if it's through oculus app or steam. If I cannot get it resolved tomorrow, it's being returned as it's literally useless to me at this point. The development team needs to take way more quests to the drawing board to prevent releasing products that barely work.

The foam is coming undone around the face and we used it like 10 times. I want to return it.,

So i tried to return my Meta Quest 3 today. I bought it last week. The S/N on the box doesnt match the serial number on the Headset and Best buy rejected my return. Meta them selves already said that said that its normal and its a common thing. Best buy better let me return it or ill take it up with the attorney general and bbb. EVERYONE LOOK AT YOUR S/N ON YOUR DEVICE AND BOX THEY ARE DIFFERENT ITS A META QUEST 3 thing

I asked a customer service agent if the product comes with a free Batman game I was told yes it does! Upon ordering I didn't get the game, I was given false information. If you buy this on Amazon, it costs the same but you get a $50 Batman : Arkham Asylum game free with it!

The headset is allegedly designed to accommodate a pair of glasses, but if you actually try to wear glasses with it, you will end up with scratched lenses on both the headset and your glasses. I ended up returning the headset for a refund, but had to pay several hundred dollars to replace my glasses.

Can't recommend it. The standalone feature works pretty well, however connecting it to your PC is a nightmare and it fails to connect 5 times before it finally works. Also, the support for this product from meta is AWFUL. They don't know what they're doing and can't help with common issues.
