For what it is this thing is really good. But I’m still not sure if vr is for me. I messed around with it a lot after initially getting it, mostly got it for MR. But due to the poor camera quality I stoped doing that after a while. The battery life is not has good and I would hope either. I really wanted to be able to watch movies on this on a huge screen, but it doesn’t really have enough juice to last that long, and it gets uncomfortable. All that said though it does do what it sets out to do very well, and it worked well with my pc for larger vr games.

The Meta Quest 3 takes VR to the next level. The visuals are incredibly sharp, the motion tracking is buttery smooth, and the performance boost from the 512GB model is noticeable. Setup was fast, and switching between games or apps feels seamless. Batman: Arkham Shadow is an amazing bonus super immersive and shows off how powerful this headset really is. The mixed reality features and Horizon+ trial make it even better. Definitely the best all-in-one VR experience on the market right now

upgraded from a quest 2, great product, love the color passthrough and much clearer screens. Is it night and day not really- you can tell its better but not leaps and bounds, it does run cooler, it feels lighter on my head and the controllers are not clunky large things like the quest 2 had. so far so good, would recommend the quest 3s to anyone wanting to get into the VR movement, maybe tell them quest 3 only if they have the money to blow. the only downside i have is the strap- it is a terrible mess for the price of this thing i expected better. 1st thing is buy a new strap- i got the battery swappable bobavr so it never dies. this strap on a 3s ok but not the full price of this thing. I also think $500 is a lot for this, at $400 i'd say its a great buy, $500 it's worth it if it had a better strap. Overall I love my headset. Great buy- wish it wasn't $500 plus a strap. I play a few Mixed Reality games (the inclusion of batman was the big seller on this purchase) and PCVR games wirelessly- mostly shooters and racing sims.

This amazing! Only downside is the battery that could last longer but other than that totally worth it.

I’ve been interested in VR for a while, and the Quest 3 is a massive leap forward. The upgrade in visual clarity over previous models is immediately noticeable, making virtual worlds incredibly immersive. The 512GB of storage means I don’t have to constantly manage game downloads; there's plenty of room for everything. The "mixed reality" passthrough feature is fantastic. Being able to see my actual living room in high definition while digital elements are overlaid is a futuristic experience that works seamlessly. Setup was a breeze, and the all-in-one nature means there are no wires to trip over. Getting Batman: Arkham Shadow included was a great bonus, and I'm looking forward to diving into that experience. The controllers are comfortable and precise, making interactions feel natural. This headset is a must-buy for anyone looking to jump into high-quality, accessible virtual reality.

It’s lighter weight than the earlier version I have. I love it! The mixed reality is pretty awesome & the headset is much more comfortable.

Worth the upgrade for extra storage alone. With more space, I don’t worry about deleting games or experiences. Same excellent performance and visuals as the 128GB version. Great for sharing with others or keeping a big VR library.

I loved my Meta Quest 3. There are some really good games and some really bad ones, but I didn't buy it to play games; I bought it to exercise, and it's incredibly good for that. There are several apps for exercising, but I'm using one called Supernatural. At first, I thought it was just a game, but as the days go by, I feel the exercise in my body. It's really helping me improve my fitness; it's becoming addictive. The best VR headset I've ever tried, value for money. I've had both the PlayStation and Apple VR headsets. I don't know why the PlayStation ones make me dizzy and nauseous. The Apple ones are good. I can't say otherwise, but they're not worth the price. I don't experience any dizziness or discomfort with the Meta Quest 3 headset, even after extended periods of use of two or more hours. You need to purchase an additional battery; they're much more comfortable to wear and adjust, and the battery lasts twice as long.

So happy I made this purchase. I had the original before it was Quest...this is on a totally different level. The new lenses and display really set it apart. So many cool games and experiences to check out too! Thinking of getting another for the girlfriend and kids to get on and play with me. Downsides: headstrap and battery are lacking in my opinion. These were the first things I upgraded and hapy I did.

Absolutely love my Quest 3. Clearer picture than the Quest 2 and easily adjustable PD. The augmented reality games are very fun as well! Definitely a very good choice for a budget VR headset and can also be used to play PCVR using a cable designed for that much data transfer.

Pro: The Meta Quest 3 stands out amongst its competitors as being a fully wireless VR experience without compromising performance. It even directly competes eith Apples Vision Pro with its spatial computing abilities. Cons: Passthrough camera is very grainy and low quality, would like to see an improved spatial camera and bigger battery life next iteration. Overall, would recommend to anyone wanting to get into VR but might intimidated by all the options, you wont be disappointed with the Meta Quest 3

2nd iteration in VR for me. This is a great place to start if you have no experience, and worth the upgrade if you have a previous generation. The passthrough is worth every bit of the upgrade. I use it mainly as a at home big screen movie theater when the kids are in the man cave, but opted for the larger storage due to increasing size and quality of apps coming out.

Was on the fence on whether or not VR was worth it yet. I'll always have a VR headset going forward. I use it primarily for exercise and they have a lot of great games built around that. There's also plenty of content you can do just for fun. The integration with Steam is pretty seamless as long as you have a decent computer with an ethernet connection. I also recommend getting a long charging cord as it helps with PCVR gaming, I got a 16 foot one. Watching movies/shows is also an elevated experience in VR as it tricks your brain into feeling like you're watching on a movie theatre screen. Highly recommend

The Meta Quest 3 really took gaming to a whole new level!!! The more I explore, the more my mind gets blown! It's really an experience that everyone should try out for themselves! Mixed reality games really gives you the best of both worlds and will have you wanting more! Highly recommend!!!

Batman: Arkham Shadow on Meta Quest 3 blew me away visually. The combat, the gliding, the stealth—it really makes you feel like Batman. This is hands down one of the best uses of VR I’ve seen yet. The environments are gritty and immersive, and it pulls you right into Gotham. But be warned: you can die fast if you’re not quick with your counters or don’t use your gadgets right. The game doesn’t hold your hand. That said, once you get the rhythm, it’s insanely satisfying and physical. You’ll break a sweat. Loved the VR immersion. Just wish the difficulty curve was a little smoother early on. Still absolutely worth it if you want a real Batman experience in virtual reality.

I was blown away by how immersive and sharp the graphics are — games and mixed reality experiences look great, and the headset itself is lighter and more comfortable than I expected. It’s really fun to use right out of the box and doesn’t need a PC to run most titles. That said, the battery doesn’t last super long and a few reviewers mention motion sickness or discomfort after longer sessions, plus some folks have had frustrating experiences with customer service when things go wrong. All in all, if you want one of the best standalone VR headsets for the price, it’s worth considering, but be ready for a few trade-offs.

I have long been a 3d and such tech aficionado and had the nvidia 3d vision way back in 1999 and then nvidia 3d vision in 2007 ish and bought PS VR in 2016 ish. nvidia 3d vision on a 3d projector was just insane. Playing older Steam games like Rainbow Six in 3d just made the gaming incredible on a 120" wall projected screen. I wanted to get into VR as well early but I got busy and also PS VR gave me a headache from the weight and moving the head around like a maniac will do that. So I avoided it after that even though it was great. Finally bought the Meta Quest 3 and it is incredible. It is obviously 3d and you get amazing depth perception and you feel like you're there like those old arcade games like Tank where you're standing and your head goes into that bowl and you look and move around standing there and shoot. However this is 100x better. Google Earth is just incredible and the best. Especially if you want to take a tour or visit your home or other places. Youtube VR is insane. Regular Youtube is also amazing. Obviously you can use it for those cheeky NSFW videos as well. The mixed reality with passthrough is just incredible you don't bump into things and you integrate the game into your room itself. That is something. We're truly nearing pinnacle of human civilization. Overall, Meta Quest 3 at $500 is the best buy. I would rate this a 9.5/10. The battery discharges super quick so I have a cable that allows charging while plugged into my gaming laptop from 2020 (nvidia gtx 2070m which does incredibly well).

I bought this thinking it would be a toy but I've used it for fitness, entertainment, 360 degree videos and relaxation apps. The optics are really good as well. I tried a 3s and a Meta 3, I'd recommend the 3, it was well worth the money. Only downside was the headstrap, it's not comfortable. Get an upgraded strap with a battery.
