Battery life stinks but really enjoy the rest of the VR experience, also being used for PCVR. After buying an aftermarket battery head strap the battery issue is negated, but just leaving the headset sit idle not plugged in you will always come back to a dead battery because they constantly update in the background. You can turn this off but when you want to use it, have to let it update.

Hands down one of the best VR systems out there. Graphics are amazing, the sound quality is a step up from the Quest 2. The headset is lighter on my head. I love the at I can see what’s around me a little better while I have the headset on. Love that it came with a game although I had to wait for the release date to download.
Thanks for taking the time to leave us some feedback, we love reading our reviews so thank you for being apart of that!
We're delighted that you've had a good experience with the Meta Quest 3, we hope you can continue to have bigger and better adventures within the Metaverse!
Have a wonderful rest of your day.

Lightweight. Getting Arkham on it was a bit of a hassle but worked out. Good hand tracking controllers (wish they were rechargeable). The extended battery from quest 2 doesn’t work

I love it! It gives me and the kids fun things to do together. I also purchased two more so the kids don’t fight over who gets to play.
This is what we love to read about, families coming together and bonding over some fun gaming time.
Thanks for taking the time out of your day to tell us your thoughts.

It's a massive step up from the Quest 2, and I myself hand been wondering if it would be worth the expense. But I quickly found that it resolved all of the friction that prevented me from really playing with the Quest 2 as much as I'd originally intended.
The auto-scanning for a playable area is amazingly accurate so you only have to make a quick adjustment.
If you want to go get a drink, you can just double-tap the right side of the head strap and it switches to passthrough mode immediately – and it no longer looks like you are holding a 2001 cell phone video up to your eye.
The hand tracking is also cool when it can be leveraged.
The visual fidelity is much higher in this.
The only downsides are that it's got a short battery life and I periodically encounter a weird issue where it loses tracking entirely while gaming and the world starts spinning – you have to close your eyes and reset it. I think that issue is because I prefer to not shut it off and just set it on the charger. After a week it tends to do that and I need to hard reset it.
The upgraded version with more storage is also quite pricey.
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review! We're glad to see that your loving your Meta Quest 3 headset and we hope you can continue enjoying it with every new world you explore!

There’s a lot of things to like about the Quest 3, even though I’m a little late to the party
- The price is good for the quality of the product. What other VR headset exists out that that offers VR/AR capabilities, with tons of games, productivity uses, and third party accessories? I don’t think any.
- The ability to plug it into your PC and play your VR games from your PC is awesome. And i like the wireless PC playability too (although it can be a little glitchy at times. Its not perfect)
- I really enjoy the AR aspects. Watching movies and YouTube in the browser is awesome and the picture looks great. AR still has a ways to go however. Anything that is virtual while in AR looks very HD, but anything real arounds you looks grainy and a little odd. I hope in future models they work towards something more clear.
- I have no clue why anyone would buy an Apple Vision Pro, when it only has slightly better AR than this and is $3000 more than this.
- Customizability is awesome. There are tons of Meta and third party accessories you can buy for this.
- Xtadium is really, really cool. Hopefully its the future of sports broadcasting. More sports leagues need to get in on Xtadium because it really enhances your viewing for NBA games by a lot. I had an awesome time watching it, and i dont even really keep up with the NBA!
Its a great product, i just wish there was a few things tweeked to make it even better, like AR quality. VR is getting better and better.

Beautiful. This is our 3rd, starting back when Oculus Quest came out. Then the Meta Quest 2. Now we have this version. It's sleek, much lighter; the "brains" of it much more powerful but slimmer. The graphics are incredible, this, I recommend spending the extra money for the 512, otherwise, you'll use up the memory pretty quickly.

Amazing piece of tech! Worth every penny and we haven't really seen it's full potential. There are so many great titles coming soon that will for sure keep me coming back for more! Only negative is the battery life but no big deal. If you have a power bank connected or a really long USB C cord with adapter connected to outlet you'll be ok.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a 5-star review on the Meta Quest 3. We're so happy to receive such positive feedback.
We're thrilled to hear that your grandchildren love the headset and enjoy gaming in the world of VR.
Wishing them a continued great time in the Metaverse!

Definitely buy a aftermarket head strap. It will make gaming so much more comfortable. It is a bit heavy but the graphics are really good and the after market strap will help.

Perfect gift for my gamer husband! He did end up buying more attachments than I had when I picked this up. The lady who helped me was very helpful in explaining the associated products and their real differences, and my husband has greatly enjoyed the games once he got the quest hooked up to his steam account. I especially wanted to get this one despite no sales over the 3S due to the difference in the lenses and the storage capacity.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a 5 star review - it is greatly appreciated!
We're thrilled to hear that your husband is enjoying his brand new Meta Quest 3. There really is nothing better than being immersed in the world of virtual reality.
Hopefully we'll see him in the Metaverse soon!

After being granted permission to play with my granddaughter's Quest 2 at Christmas, I decided that it was pretty cool.
I purchased the Quest 3 shortly after Christmas.
It was not cheap, but I am glad that I spent the money.
It comes with First Encounters which is a simple but fun shooting game that shows what can be done with Mixed Reality (something which the Quest 2 cannot do). I put Fruit Ninja on there for a simple slashing game. Wanting some fitness apps (trying to help justify the cost), I installed PowerBeatsVR and Hitstream. Both are engaging and give a decent cardio workout. I tried Snow Wars, but that quickly gave me motion sickness. I have tried Premium Bowling and Walkabout Mini Golf. Both are good, but I have not yet tried multi-player mode, which would make them more engaging.
I am still looking for a game that fills the Wii BoomBlox void. Angry Birds VR is kind of close.
The headset fits over my wife's glasses without a problem.
The Meta App library is not huge, but it has enough for me. It is not well organized, so it takes some wading to find what you are looking for.
