Quest 1 was too underpowered and games ran but not too well, quest 2 ran games better but it still felt underpowered and not ideal for multitasking… but this quest 3 finally have JUST enough power to play all uts games butterly smooth, and I can play a game- hit the home button and respond to a Facebook message, and return to the game without closing it! I enjoy booting up and getting into games then my quest 2 friends. The pass through is - usable. I did wash the dishes while watching youtube, which is amazing. But the pass through is so blurry and I can barely check my watch or iphone bur under the right lighting I barely can… BUT when playing games with pass through you wont notice it and its so amazing!the controllers are amazing and much better then quest 2! I really can’t recommend this enough, for under $1000 we are getting CLOSE to lower end pc vr, but till then this is the best gaming focused vr headset

It's a step up from the Quest 2, but so much so that it justifies this price point. If you don't have a VR headset, this is a great intro. I'd suggest waiting and comparing this to the new Steam Machine's Headset in the Spring.

Its a new experience but i do get puking sensation after playing any VR games. But other wise this is good but not the best. Battery is not great. But memory is awesome.

Suggest if your buying this go for this version, it is more expensive, but the quality is night and day compared to the cheaper version.

If you have the money and love to game this item is for you! Be weary if you suffer from motion sickness however. Also it is difficult, but not impossible to use with glasses, I used my contacts.

Was looking at the newer 3S model but I went with this more expensive model due to better resolution. I typically get nausea when using headsets but not with these, I bought some 3rd party head straps that were recommended and this thing is very comfortable and I enjoy using this with the autodesk XR app.
