Using the Oculus VR headset was one of those experiences that actually made me say “wow” out loud. I’ve tried regular gaming and watching videos before, but this felt completely different — like stepping inside the content instead of just looking at a screen. The setup was easier than I expected, and within minutes I was moving around and interacting in a virtual world. What stood out most to me was how immersive everything felt. The visuals were sharp, the motion tracking was smooth, and the controllers felt natural in my hands. Whether I was exploring environments, playing games, or just watching immersive videos, it honestly felt like a mini escape from real life for a while — which I really appreciated. I also like that you don’t have to be a hardcore gamer to enjoy it. There are fitness apps, relaxation experiences, and creative tools too, so it feels useful for more than just entertainment. It can be active, social, and even stress-relieving. If I had one complaint, it would be that longer sessions can feel a little heavy on the face and the battery doesn’t last forever — but for the experience you get, it’s worth it. It’s fun, surprisingly easy to use, and something I’d recommend to anyone who wants to try something beyond a regular screen.

Lots is fun to use. Runs smoothly and the video display is nice and crisp. Batter life is also good. Overall been enjoying it. My whole family uses it and it’s fairly easy to adjust the straps to fit everyone’s size. Also comfortable, the straps don’t dig in. But beware of using it for more than an hour at a time. Could lead to headaches or dizziness.

My 10-year-old son was very happy to get an upgrade from the Quest 2. He likes that the Quest 3 has more storage, and the graphics are better plus its smaller and lighter. He says the passthrough has color which makes the game more fun. He like the controllers because they are easier and better to hold and make the mixed reality better to play. He likes that the headset can track his hand and the front headset is much cooler than the Quest 2. He was very happy to get the Quest 3 for Christmas and said that Meta did there thing in making Quest 3 and he is happy and enjoying his upgrade. Thank you

Definitely buy a aftermarket head strap. It will make gaming so much more comfortable. It is a bit heavy but the graphics are really good and the after market strap will help.

It works for all my needs, given I’ve had it for about a year and holds up well and plays the games I need as well. Would recommend to anyone really.

My son has had a couple Occulus 2 models. We’ve had to replace them. The Best Buy Warranty costs a little extra however every time it’s had an issue, we have no problems returning to store and exchanging his device! He definitely loves the Occulus 3 better than the 2. He waited a bit to be sure they had they bugs worked out. He’s had it a little bit now with no problems.

Pro: The Meta Quest 3 stands out amongst its competitors as being a fully wireless VR experience without compromising performance. It even directly competes eith Apples Vision Pro with its spatial computing abilities. Cons: Passthrough camera is very grainy and low quality, would like to see an improved spatial camera and bigger battery life next iteration. Overall, would recommend to anyone wanting to get into VR but might intimidated by all the options, you wont be disappointed with the Meta Quest 3

I bought this with high expectations. I already own a set of VR glasses that are pretty impressive, but they are not as immersive as VR goggles. After doing lots of research and reading, I splurged and bought the 512GB version. I plugged it in to charge the battery and finished reading the manual. After setting it up, which is a long process of creating accounts and configuring it for first use, and learning the controls. This process took around 45 minutes at which time the battery was almost dead when done. Back to the charger it went. After charging it again, I immediately went to the App Store and went on the search for a Live TV app. One of the key reasons for purchasing this was for live TV. I mean, you find it right on Meta's website, it says "Live TV". Well forget it. No live TV. I installed a couple other apps for video content, VR and others. I have a PLEX server and wanted to use it. No PLEX App either. I had to purchase a 3rd party app to access my PLEX server. This app left a little to be desired. I did eventually get it to connect, and after watching about 35 minutes of video, I need to recharge it again. I will try more tomorrow I thought. After recharging yet again, I decided to go at it again before going to bed. Disappointment ofter disappointment. I plugged it into the charger and went to bed. In the morning, I tried out some impressive deep immersive apps that show off the Meta's capabilities. I even tried out some games. Very impressive graphics and performance. But I need to charge it again after an hour. Also, the Meta is very heavy. My cheek bones were in pain and I was getting a headache. I noticed that an hour max was my limit before having to take it off due to discomfort. All in all, the Meta is I guess cool. The website is misleading in all of its capabilities. No it can't do live TV. Apps I am used to are missing, lots of the apps are low quality, it is very heavy and the battery life is insanely short. I guess the battery life is not so bad since I can't wear it more than 60 minutes. Needless to say I took it back. For that much money, it was just not worth it to me. 3 stars from me.

I really like this VR I never have tried any before. I can download my games straight to the VR itself. Don’t need a computer. It was really cool to play zombies and have my house turned into a war zone where the windows would get boarded up and so with the doorways, it was really fun. Sometimes you get dizzy maybe a little nauseous but it just depends on how long you play very comfortable. I would definitely recommend to anyone who likes getting getting into the game and feeling immersed.

The Meta Quest 3 is an iterative update to the previous generation. Everything is a little bit better, including the graphics, comfort, sound, etc. if I were to buy this again I would get the one with less storage. This has a lot of unnecessary space for how I use it.

Better then the 2. Alot more comfortable then both the 2 and 3S and better resolution.

The hardware itself is genuinely impressive. The headset is comfortable, the visuals are sharp, tracking is solid, and setup was easy. Once you’re actually using it, the experience feels polished and fun in a way VR rarely manages to be. Brand opinions aside, the headset performs very well and has quickly become something I use regularly. The quality and overall experience exceeded my expectations, and it delivers exactly what I was hoping for from a standalone VR headset.

Everything from the graphics to the comfort of the device are great! Definitely worth the upgrade.

My family absolutely loves playing different apps and worlds on the meta quest. From my three year old and up, there’s something for everyone to do! I just would recommend getting a different headband for it as the elastic one doesn’t stay on as well.

Large upgrade from quest 2. We use them mainly for ACE vr training. Additional battery setup is highly recommended.
