He was so shocked and amazed when he opened his gift. He has already ordered accessories for it.

If you're gonna get it, get the one with the most battery. And buy the upgrade that replaces the old strap to a more comfortable one, and can extend your battery life with the packs, for uninterrupted play.

Meta Quest 3 is a ton of fun!

Setup and use are very intuitive and you'll be playing games just minutes after booting it up for the first time. The cast to TV function works well, but we have only gotten it to work through Chromecast/Air Play. Horizon+ is a subscription service that provides access to many games each month--I think it is very necessary to get the most out of the Quest.

Quest 3 Headset Review

The only thing I don’t like about this is that the battery lasts about 2 hours before needing to charge. Would recommend getting a long charging cable or external battery pack. All in all though, great product, 10/10 would recommend.

I bought the Bobovr battery strap and I don't even have to plug the headset in. I just charge the head strap battery and put it on and it stays powered up from the battery. I have been having a good time with it and the new update to the software is great.

Love the color pass through and the new games and abilities that opens up. Noticed games load much faster and have higher resolution. The design makes it way more comfortable to wear prescription glasses with it over the quest 2 so you don’t need to buy prescription lenses for the headset. I did however notice right away that there’s a dead pixel almost dead center in the left eye, so I might go exchange it for another set
