So far so good!!! Amazing product, mostly because my kid can play his games and exercise at the same time or at least move and sweat get tired. So is a great device

The Meta Quest 3 (512GB) is not just a Virtual Reality (VR) headset—it feels like stepping into the future. From the moment you put the headset on, you realize this isn’t an incremental upgrade to enter the world of VR…it’s a massive leap forward into total immersion, outstanding performance, and just pure fun. The overall design of the unit is slimmer, lighter-feeling, and better balanced, making long sessions way more comfortable - and that's important! And since the Meta Quest 3 is a completely standalone headset not directly connected to anything, you get full freedom—no wires, and no PC required. Right out of the box, the setup was quick and straightforward. Within minutes, I was fully immersed in VR, and the experience genuinely blew me away. Powered by the Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chip, the Meta Quest 3 delivers seriously smooth, lightning-fast performance. Games load quickly, environments feel alive, and everything runs with a fluidity that makes older VR headsets feel outdated overnight. In fact, it offers roughly double the graphical power of its predecessor the Quest 2, making its visuals richer and more detailed than ever. The optical display on this unit is simply stunning. If I had to mention two small downsides to this unit, it would be the battery life —which is a little over two (2) hours that’s easy to manage with breaks, and the head-strap in which there are many third party alternatives in which to choose from that also offer optional battery packs to recharge the headset! With the Meta Quest 3's included 512GB of storage, you'll be able to download tons of games, apps, and media without constantly worrying about space. It’s perfect if you want your entire VR library ready to go at any given moment. Overall, the Meta Quest 3 delivers an incredible, next-level VR experience. I made the decision to purchase the Quest 3 on release day. I am very happy with the performance, sharper visuals, and better boundary setup which helps you NOT run into things when you are playing games, whether it's a heated boxing match or a realistic shooting game. The hand tracking is better and the mixed reality/passthrough is wonderful and life like. All in all this has been a worthy upgrade but I do have to take a star away for the strap which is still uncomfortable and a complete money grab attempt by Meta to force you into buying their Elite Strap. Battery life is about 2 hours as well which is not ideal. Despite these two flaws, I do not regret the purchase as this is the most unique gaming experience out right now. Get it, you won't regret it.

Pretty good, the original headband was pretty tight and uncomfortable so I had to get a different headstrap, apart from that it works well

for a first headset, this thing is pretty great! battery life is a little lacking, but I play pcvr so it's plugged in the whole time. very capable and the built in finger tracking is really nice! probably the best bang for the buck headset out there

Had the valve for a while but needed to upgrade and it was definitely worth it, with the intigrated software i could just play anywhere, hand sensors are fine if you dont have much light then they start acting kinda weird. Resolution is good. I saw people having a lot of issues with tue steam connect maybe because of their internet connecting but i have ad any issues with a cable is even bette. Only complain would be battery life but there a log list of products that deal with that issue as well as others. Overall if you dont wanna spend crazy amount for a vr set up this is definitely a decent product pr just wait for the nrw steam vr

I used to have the Quest 3 with smaller storage. This one is amazing! I am able to fit more games! The optics are superior and I love it!

The Meta Quest 3 is a really impressive VR headset that greatly improves upon the Quest 2. It provides enhanced performance, comfort, and display quality. The screens are sharper, making games look absolutely fantastic. The full-color passthrough works nicely, though it might miss some small details in low light. The image can sometimes appear grainy or soft, especially in dim settings. It’s not quite high-res enough to replace seeing the real world directly like the Vision Pro

Enhanced graphics and customization in profile. Very fun but still limited on different games and apps as it is all offered through Meta. Unless you are really dedicated to using a certain app, it can honestly get kind of boring. I would suggest getting attachments as the headset is uncomfortable and need an extended battery for longer playtime. Feels more comfortable than Meta Quest 2.

The Quest 3 exceeded my expectations. I had a Rift S and there were several upgrades I wanted in the Quest 3. I wanted to remove the need for a wire attached to my PC, actually I wanted to not need my PC at all, but I did not want to give up quality. I had a Readyme avatar that some players fell back to my default avatar if their VR quality was too much. The Quest 3 is great. I use the Quest 3 without a PC, cable and without a loss of quality. I do not mind the battery life; I have a lot of fun while it is charged, and it reminds me it might be a good time to take a break. My battery charges quickly so if I want to play more it is not a long wait. One thing I was surprised by was that I can use the Quest 3 (in limit settings) without the hand controllers. The Quest 3 needs a certain amount of light for use without hand controllers and once I get into a game, the games seem to need hand controllers, but I am amazed the Quest 3 can do any functions without the controllers. I enjoy that you can double tap the headset and go in and out of mixed reality. I used to lose perspective of my position in the room with my Rift S and I had to take the headset off to see where I was. With the Quest 3 I just double tap the headset and I can see the room and surroundings (very clearly) and then double tap, and I am back in full immersed mode. With my Rift S I had to draw my boundary borders and touch the floor for perspective. My Quest 3 adjusts very quickly to my room and boundary setup is done. It does ask me to confirm the boundaries when I start, but they always seem to default to the correct boundaries for me. It is such a pleasure to be able to go to a room put on the headset and controllers turn on the headset and it is ready to go. Then when I am done just turn off the headset and plug it in to recharge. (Remember to keep the eyepieces out of direct sunlight.) The Quest 3 was easy to setup. The only issue I had was the Airlink functionality. I really have enjoyed the Quest 3.

A truly futuristic experience! The YouTube app alone is mind-blowing—it feels like having a private IMAX theater right in front of you. It’s a little tight for glasses wearers, but I found a way to make it work. Pro tip: use glasses with smaller frames, or consider the prescription lens inserts for the best experience.

Very good quality images, though it has a low battery life, about 2 hours. Definitely the best VR though.

Text is perfectly readable, and screen-door effect is virtually gone. The new pancake lenses mean the sweet spot is everywhere—no more constant readjusting. Insane Power Boost: The 2X graphical processing power is the real star of the show. Games load faster, textures are incredibly detailed, and the frame rates are buttery smooth. It brings PCVR-like quality right onto a standalone headset. Flawless Mixed Reality (MR): The full-color passthrough changes everything. Playing games where virtual objects interact with your actual living room feels like sorcery. It's incredibly immersive and highly practical. Massive 512GB Storage: Getting the 512GB version was the best decision. With next-gen Quest 3 games getting larger and featuring high-res textures, having the extra space means never having to constantly delete and reinstall my library.
