Worth the price

It’s such a great headset and you can tell it’s an upgrade from the quest 2. I got the S because I don’t care much for the augmented reality stuff

Amazing Product! Use it weekly!

It has been so much fun to use! After about a week the initial excitement does wear off but I still go back and use it weekly. $300 is not a bad price for the amount I use it. I believe I got my money's worth! And my family loves them too!

Never used VR (BUY), your a nerd? (Shy away)

GET A LONG CABLE FOR IT. If you are a tech savvy, PC gaming somewhat coding language versed ultra geek adhere to the following: Although you may think VR is an absolutely fascinating technology. You will use this for maybe 30-40 hours, realize that meta's VR ecosystem for VR is the hottest of garbage in all creation, make many attempts to find any extensible value in this mode of entertainment, and then proceed to shelve this indefinitely. I would save up for steams try at this, or make an effort to work at Facebook and make their ecosysten appeal to anything other than a 10 year old. L meta, this has the intellectual value of Wii bowling, their OS is dogwater, I wouldn't use this for anything other than a demo of what VR exists as currently.

After seeing the cost of the controllers it made more sense just to upgrade the whole headset for a few dollares more. Nice upgrade over the 2. Like that you're able to see your surroundings with the headset on.

We are happy that your son is enjoying his new device, especially with all the upgrades that it comes with.
Not only is the Passthrough in full color, the headset is a lot more powerful and much more adjustable, making this headset more suitable for a wider range of people making it great for the whole family and by the sounds you it, you have already been enjoying it yourself.
The new controllers are also better, but if you would like to get some extra protection then you should definitely look into getting some Meta Quest active straps, these are compatible with both the Quest 3 and 3s

The graphics have come so far on the quest 3 and the games are great. You can do just about anything with The Quest 3 from home. Concerts, sporting events, social virtual bars, and anything and everything in between!

Great VR headset
