Very worth the money, real life graphics and a great variety of things to do on it. Fast and responsive hand controls with ability to go full VR or mixed reality.

This quest vr headset is really sweet super fun to play especially with friends. Has run every game ive played just fine with very little lag and no crashes. The outside camaras arent the best but you can definitely see well enough through them to not fall or trip. The controllers track really well exept in the dark so is kind of hard to use in a dark area. The headset speakers are actually pretty good and are pretty loud with some quality sound. The connect to windows feature isnt to bad but it does have a delay if your router isnt in the same room and you can use multiple screens if you in the windowed mode but cant use multiple screens in the theater mode only one at a time. Can definitely use some work in that area. Overall i would really recommend this headset I use it often and love watching movies and playing games with it.

This VR experience is AMAZING! And the Batman Arkham Shadow game is just as great with graphics and story being just as good as the other Arkham games except HERE, YOU have to fight all your henchmen and villains LITERALLY! VR adds to the experience being immersed in the games environment using your hands to navigate and fight your way through the game.It's an AMAZING EXPERIENCE and there's so many other games to choose from. This is my 1st VR gaming system and with the Batman game added to the systems purchase, its a great value pricewise!

Amazing VR tech for the price of a Nintendo Switch! I also have the Meta Quest 2, and a regular Meta Quest 3 (that I paid the full $650 back in Jan, I'm a bit cranky about now that it's just $500). Anyway, you can real plenty of reviews out there and it's all being highly praised, so what new feedback could I provide? FIRST - Compared to the Quest 2, which was recently sold for $300 as early as first half of this year, the 3s is a huge upgrade and no-brainer. I got the 3s for my son, who was using the 2 for beat saber and Population One and we were running into more and more slow Quest Operating System/OS issues. And with Pop One game, you get a big upgrade in viewing distance and clarity - so pulled the trigger. He loves it. COMPARED TO REGULAR QUEST 3 - well, obviously the regular and more expensive quest 3 is better. It really comes down to this. For the 128GB model, for $300, if the extra $200 is an issue, get the 3s. Or if you're just new to VR and worried about not liking it, start with the cheaper 3s. I suspect if you have a family, and love VR, you'll want another one anyway and you can buy the full quest 3 for yourself later! ;) BUT the 256GB Quest 3s model for $400 I don't think is worth it. At that point you're only $100 away from the full Quest 3. For that extra $100 you get 256GB more storage (at 512GB) and most importantly, you get the amazing 'pancake' lens. Which, once you become a VR vet, you will appreciate. Far more clarity more of the time, far larger sweet spot for staying in focus, etc. The 'Frenel' lens on the quest 2 and 3s are perfectly fine, And for some content I still like them better - like games that are very lite-colored, with lots of white, or pastel, lighter colors. Pistol Whip for example. Pancake lens have this weird self-reflection with lighter colors. You get used to it though, and again, thankfully it's rarely an issue. Frenel doesn't have that, but again, not razor sharp or as in focus as much as regular quest 3's 'pancake' lens. I bought the original Quest 3 for $650, as I mentioned above - and I was still happy with it for that price; but if you're new and not sure, you will still very much like the $300 Quest 3s and the 128GB should be enough space. Worse case, you uninstall games you're done with to make room for others. Only the newest quest 3/3s only games are getting up to 30gb in size. Most are still in 5 to 10gb range. Oh, last thing to mention. I noticed the 'room scanning' the 3s does compared to regular quest 3 isn't quite as good or as fast. That's when it will start mapping your room, for a mixed reality game. Not a big deal I would say - it's sufficient; scan is 80% as good as 3 maybe. What this means in practice, is the extra scanning device in the regular quest 3 can just scan my room, furniture and any other objects, so that when I play a mixed-reality game and a little creature is walking around my room, behind the couch, or on stuff - it just looks a tad closer to reality, like they won't be walking slightly above, etc. due to not as exactly a scan/map of my room. If you will be SUPER heavy into the mixed-reality, maybe consider the full quest 3 instead.

I recently got the Oculus Quest S, and I have to say, it's pretty impressive! The graphics are sharp, and the immersive experience is top-notch. The wireless design makes it super convenient to use without being tethered to a PC. The only downside is that the battery life could be a bit longer, but overall, it's a fantastic device for VR enthusiasts. Definitely worth checking out!

Great entry to VR. Arkham: Shadows in particular blew me off my feet with this headset and how well the operating system could handle it. The only downsides are the lenses which require your eyes to be in an exact spot to see really well, and the head strap can be uncomfortable at times, but I think it is definitely worth it.

I think that the console is great; battery life is concerning. Also the pressure on the forehead could be a little overwhelming, I am probably gonna buy more comfortable straps cause the basic ones kinda don't feel like they hold well. The picture of the system themselves is great.

I purchased this when it was on sale, out of curiosity. VR headsets are expensive, but Meta Quest seemed less expensive while still providing good quality. First of all, the build quality was solid. I liked the finish and feel of the handheld remotes, too. Setup out of the box was very straight forward and easy. You are guided through making an account via the headset. You also need to setup the app on a connected device like your phone or tablet. The view was very good and you can see through it via a camera on the front of the visor with the directions imposed over the view. It works very well. Sound is good. Graphics are great! The handheld remotes are easy to use. I did return the Meta Quest after a couple weeks. I found the device heavy and pressed hard on my cheeks. Someone I know who uses one purchased another headstrap for it and that helped. But I didn't want to invest in accessories yet. Mostly it was the fact that I wasn't really interested in the types of games offered and the weight that made my decision to return it. Meta caters to a younger, male demographic. Too many horror based games, the design of the graphics didn't appeal to me. Sure you can watch Netflix or movies, but the headset is so heavy that I didn't even last for 30 minutes. I see that VR glasses are available now. Those would probably be more what I would use and integrate while traveling or for entertainment. We'll see!

Love it... I hear the Quest is even better so i might be upgrading one day but for now this is great. I can stream my xbox as long as im on decent wifi and the cloud gaming is good too. I connected it to steam and was able to play vr games off my computer.

Where to start? I already own a Rift S, and was thoroughly impressed with it despite being tethered to a PC. Now this- a massive bump in resolution and optical clarity PLUS full color pass-through for mixed reality? Sign me up. Also, self contained? GYAT! But wait, I can also connect to the PC, so my STEAM VR games and my PC for that matter, work too! Yeah, it's pretty cool. Definitely an upgrade to Rift in every way. There's a lot of stuff you can enjoy for free, and a lot of stuff in general to explore. It is geared to please a gaming savvy audience, especially those that have the spatial awareness/coordination to interact in VR. It is worth the price when you frame it as being in the same vein as a gaming console. Incidentally, one of the features I really enjoyed was using Console streaming and XBOX Cloud Gaming in combination with the XBOX Game Pass Ultimate subscription to play games like COD6, Rocket League and through the PC, Microsoft Flight Simulator VR. I don't drive the wife craycray when she's trying to watch Outlander, and thanks to wireless PC link I don't trip over cords!

Its a pretty great item but cons are the tracking for controllerless game play is not really great and barely do a thing unless in front of the headset its very awesome but super limited. Then it promised to last 2-3 hours off 1 charge but at best you get about 1hr and 15mins thrlen just to play longer they want you to buy the meta headset with battery that supposedly lasts 2 hours but is $130 while Amazon sells off brand headsets that last 8 hours for $20 and some are less but they do actually last and work even some work better than anything meta has for their system and the air play is wonky so if you run the audio for a voice changer through your computer it forces you into seeing the computer screen and using the old oculus rift menu that was dropped and deemed obsolete even when its turned off for using visuals on your computer and everything is going everywhere honestly if i was mildly vulnerable to seizures it would definitely cause a few its a living hell and im not joking. It is new but its software could definitely use some fixes and maintenance badly. I do recommend the item but do be aware its new and its still gonna have some bugs and issues as well as poor battery life so you will have to purchase a external battery if you actually want to get into a game and play for awhile. Plus the factory head straps are extremely hard to get perfect and can cause migraines which i personally experienced and i rarely get and migraines or even simple headaches. Good product bad time to release it before getting everything to work properly and a horrifying battery. Its a take it or leave it at this point but i home they get the problem dealt with asap, especially since they discontinued the quest 2 which was definitely worth it in its time but prices on that unit went from $250 to the price of a ps3 in 2007 at $600 when it was a completely fresh system and the quest 2 is no longer a fresh its considered an ancient system at this point surprisingly. But soon the quest 3 and quest 3s will be your only options.

If you are looking for an entry-level VR headset that isn't going to completely break the bank but still provide a good experience, then this specific Meta Quest 3S is for you. So far, everything has been working as expected, the only downside is no expandable storage. $300 is by no means cheap, but its the tradeoff that's made for lower storage. Other than that, I've been happy with it.

Its a Quest upgrade at a great price but has limited space. Over all if you dont have one this is great (you will need to buy upgrades to get longer play time). If you have a 2, moving to the three is an upgrade but not needed if you are burnt out on VR. Buying from best buy gives so many options so if you are going to dive in, this is where to do it.

For reference I have owned one other VR headset, that being the original Oculus Rift, before Oculus became affiliated with Meta. This is not only FAR cheaper, but a new level in quality for VR. Battery life has been around 2-3 hours but it quick charges and that is when most are ready for a break.

Okay, I have to say it — the Meta Quest 3 is seriously next level. The graphics are crisp, the tracking is smooth, and the whole experience just feels super immersive. My 91-year-old grandma tried it… and now she asks for it more than I do! She did a virtual walk through a museum and even played a simple rhythm game.
