Much easier to tighten and stays on much better. Definitely a needed accessory. It’s a little difficult to get it on the meta brand charger. You have to fully lower the head band so it props the unit forward enough for the contacts to stay connected.
I would recommend this to a friendFeels great. If you don’t have it get it.

Either get this or the battery pack one because the comfort of this just makes vr that much more enjoyable.

The cloth strap provided doesn’t really work and must immediately be replaced with the higher end plastic headstrap. That said, the equipment is amazing and what it can do is put you in another world. Many other worlds, actually. I love it.

Ignore the strap that comes with the Quest.

It feels way better, and you don't have to adjust the quest every 2-3 minutes which kills the experience. I think this should come originally with the set. The other strap is trash.

The strap that comes with the headset is lacking in many ways like comfort and fit to name a couple. This Elite Strap is far more comfortable and stable, although I wish they designed it a bit more compact since it adds some considerable bulk.

The stock Quest 3 headstrap is not very comfortable and applies pressure on the side of the head. The weight distribution and easy adjustment mechanism on this is very similar to that of the Quesst Pro. Highly recomend!

Running low on power? Not with this head strap. This head band comes eqiped with adjustable components to get that exact fit!

I like the Dial Knob adjust on this strap

The standard Velcro headband was constantly being peeled apart to adjust for comfort. The dial adjust knob is the way to go.
