Way overpriced like all Meta accessories. Just basic strap, nothing special. Not much better than the one that came with the Quest 3.
Returned and got a Kiwi with battery for $50.

The case I can understand, but I still don’t know why this needs to be so much. The default straps are garbage, so whatever you choose, replace them. This one is a solid performer and will get the job done while being pretty comfortable for multi hour sessions. Maybe wait for a sale though?

Overpriced unfortunately. There are better/cheaper alternatives that have more features. I picked up the BOBOvr M3 Pro instead for $40, which also includes a built in battery bank.

Should come standard

This should not be an "extra" charge/add on. No reason that this shouldn't come standard issue. Regardless, it is a must buy as the Q3 strap is unusable for abour 75% of users. There are better, cheaper options on Amazon. The Bobovr M3 will be releasing end of month and suggest waiting for that, if you are able.
Thank you so much for purchasing and the time you've taken to share your thoughts. We're wishing you all the best.
See you in the Metaverse, Marco!

Too Pricy for a Strap

Nice and convenient accessory for Quest 3, but in teams of the price, it’s a bit pricy for just a strap. You can easily find an alternative in Amazon with only half the price. If you don’t care about the price, it’s a must have for your Quest 3

I regret opting into Meta, and needing this is why

Oh where do I begin. How about needing this 80 dollar strap because the original strap Meta 3 ships with is trash?
Meta 3 is absolutely horrible to use as a screen for your PC and you need really jank connections via steam VR or Oculus Direct, so it loses in integrations to HTC Vive, despite how old that system is...
It requires you buy expensive 60 dollar cable if you don't want charging speed throttled, and it will drain and power down within 2 hours of use even if you have it plugged in with lights and sound decreased to absolute minimum. The fans are loud, it gets hot and steamy (fogs)
It has no integration with facial capture, motion capture, I got it so I can try and play beat saber on PC (because of better mod support) and lo and behold the connection is terrible so I had to buy the same game a second time through the meta store because steam, discord, and all the software I commonly use and wanted to use via meta is blocked and I need work arounds (like steam VR or the horribly buggy and battery intensive Oculus direct) just to use my pc with it.
I tried to show it to my family and have them try, and after buying more than 100 dollars worth of games and other vr dodads on the meta store, there's nothing worth doing after couple of minutes.
The one thing they keep wanting me to do is get on Meta Universe or whatever the new name is that they keep changing to, but that's filled with 9 to 13 year olds, which I guess makes sense considering how this system is absolute trash when it comes to real gaming, pc integration, or working
Please just get steam Index or HTV VIVE... every aspect of META 3 has been a dumpster fire, and the worst of all is the fact that the elite strap is not a luxury but a must because the Meta 3 is ACTUALLY unusable without it.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review!
We're glad to hear that you've been finding your new Elite Strap comfortable though we certainly appreciate your feedback regarding battery life.
We can advise that if you aren't at least getting four hours of use from your headset when it and your elite straps battery are fully charged to reach out to our wonderful support team through our website.
We do hope that you continue to have a great time as you explore all the wonders the Metaverse has to offer for longer stretches thanks to your awesome Elite Strap!

A must for the quest. The original that comes with the quest is very unstable. This strap gives you confidence with mobility games.

Meta is charginf way too much for this generation’s accesories, but quality is great, but you can get just as good if not better quality from 3rd party headstraps for half the price.

Does the job fine, it's a little overpriced though.
I got it only because it was the only one available to me at the time, I would have gone with a third party strap if they were readily available at launch.
