Excellent game! Here's a little info on the style of play. 8 levels with different paths. 3 ship choices with 3 weapons each that have 3 configurations each. They can be upgraded from 1-10 each by grabbing power ups. You have bombs and also a "cheer" attack which is pretty much a screen wide attack with rockets and it lasts a good amount of time. To refill it you can send a cheer (I spam it) for the mini achievements that pop up on screen which other players are getting (you'll also receive cheers). Pretty interesting mechanic and not intrusive to your game play. What I do find a little awkward is the story dialogue is going on while you're playing so you constantly hear a conversation between characters and it's also displayed in text on the right side of the screen. So if you're really into what the story has to offer it can be a distraction. Speaking of the story, it's just the dialogue along with static images, no modern day animated cutscenes or anything like that, but come on, this is a shmup. As for trophies, they're very obtainable and a few can be challenging. The game is short and fun enough that you'll probably want to keep going through it again to get them all. If you're like me and don't have an RPG amount of hours to put into a game, this is the ticket.

This is a must play for SHMUP fans, especially on the PS4. Plus, this gets extra points for being a physical release.
