Razer’s new wireless gaming headset, the Blackshark V3 Pro, is so chock full of features it’s hard to come up with anything it *doesn’t* have. Tons of sound profiles/enhancements/options, active noise canceling, THX spatial audio, Bluetooth, ultra-low latency 2.4Ghz wireless, and so many configuration options–it goes on and on. Sometimes such a laundry list of features can make the user feel overwhelmed, but I felt that the layout of both the physical controls and the enormous amount of configuration options within Razer Synapse were well-organized enough that I felt like I got a good grasp of everything pretty quickly. The headset comes nicely packaged, as is typical for Razer products. You get the headset, the microphone, a USB-C to 3.5mm cable, and a USB-A to C cable for charging and for the 2.4Ghz wireless dongle. I plugged it in to ensure it was fully charged before use. All the cables feel very nice and have the Razer aesthetic. The ergonomics are good–a combination of buttons and knobs and wheels, all put in a sensible place. Little details, like texture on the button to help differentiate them, are a nice touch. The mic mute button? It’s on the side with the microphone. It seems so obvious, but once you’ve encountered consumer electronic devices where those details are overlooked, you appreciate it. The headphone cups are comfortable and the padding all around is thick and very nice. Overall, I like the design, and it’s very functional, and the headset was comfortable for longer gaming sessions. The sound quality is very good. I did try a few movies and some music with this, engaging those presets, and found it to be more than acceptable . Is it “audiophile quality” with music and such? Perhaps not, compared to my very best headphones, but it is very good. The active noise canceling I found to be quite effective as well, and I liked the range of options provided: off, on (with 4 levels), and ambient passthrough. I tried this out with a gaming laptop set to maximum fans, which in turn sat on a laptop cooler pad with its fans turned up. It’s very, very loud under load–louder than my gaming desktop, even. Engaging ANC made it all go away. I came away very impressed with their ANC implementation–it’s one of the better ones I’ve encountered. Gaming is where it’s at though, with these. Synapse catalogs all of your installed games and allows you to adjust the sound presets for each game. Some games will have a THX moniker next to them and allow you to engage the THX Immersive audio preset–I had two installed (Hogwarts Legacy and Cyberpunk 2077). Synapse has a helpful demo to illustrate the THX sound mode as well, but in game I felt it sounded terrific and sound positionality, especially in Cyberpunk, was excellent. For those playing competitive FPS shooters, there are a variety of pre-built sound profiles for each game (COD, Valorant, Fortnite, etc.), and the wheel can also be configured to serve as a volume control for footstep volume when using an eSports EQ. The microphone is similarly blessed with options. It gets its own equalizer, with esports, broadcast, and mic boost presets, a convenient mic preview mode, and a suite of audio enhancements: volume normalization, vocal clarity, mic noise cancellation, and voice gate. The latter one is especially helpful, as it alters the sensitivity threshold for the mic’s pickup. These can all be turned on/off or adjusted with a slider. (Voice gate is high/medium/low, however.) And with the preview mode you can instantly hear what’s being done. I found the mic to be about just about right out of the box, with a little voice boost and noise cancellation being all I added. It works well and sound quality/clarity were very good. Synapse also includes power configurations to save battery. You can have it power down after a preset inactive period (15/30/45/60 minutes), and the indicator lights on the wireless dongle can also be changed to notify you of either connection status, battery status, or low battery warning. In the Synapse enhancement tab (the same place ANC is controlled along with other audio enhancements like bass boost) you can toggle the ultra-low latency mode on or off. On promises ~10ms latency, but turning it off allows for “gaming grade” latency, better range, and extended battery life. I ran with both and found that I was generally fine with it off, preferring the battery life, while competitive esports gamers will likely want to engage this feature. Obviously with Synapse playing such a major role with this headset, the PC gets you the most. But the overall compatibility is broad–coverage includes PC/Mac/Playstation/Switch/SteamDeck/phones–so chances are you’re covered. Overall, it’s a fantastic headset. It’s well-designed and made, the ergonomics and comfort are great, and the list of features (and their configuration) is impressively long. The sound quality is especially good, and if you have games that can use the THX preset, that’s a great bonus, too. The active noise cancellation feature is one of the better ones I’ve encountered anywhere. I found exploring the features in Synapse to be easy to navigate and understand. Ultimately, there’s almost nothing I can really fault it on. Highly recommended!

COMFORT 9/10: Comes with a mesh memory foam earpads that have a good amount of padding. Also, quite large. My ears do not hit the drivers. Has good adjustability in all plains allowing for a good seal which helps with the ANC. However, with them being mesh don’t get quite as good of passive noise isolation but your ears don’t get hot. So probably a good trade for most people. I do notice some microphonics with it. The top pad is just normal padding. But a good amount that I didn’t have any pain up there. Clamping force is light. Overall, can wear it for long periods. SOUND 8/10: Not the best sounding headset. I think the A50x and Stealth Pro sound better in all regards. However, these are up there in the best that I’ve heard. Great directional audio where you can tell right where the enemy is. Also, have satisfying bass, mids, and highs. Even when listening to music. ANC 8/10: Probably one of the better ANC’s I’ve heard. But with the mesh earcups not as good as the Stealth Pro. They also have a passthough mode which is interesting. But I find it picks up fan noises a bit too much. That normally I wouldn’t hear with the headset off making it useless. As far too annoying to have that on. I like that you have a dedicated ANC button the right earcup on the bottom. Easy to find. And cycles through on, passthrough, off. And announces which mode you are on with a nice female voice. CONTROLS 9/10 : One of the better ones I’ve tried for controls. All buttons feel great to press. Left earcup has your normal volume knob. Which feels excellent and with it sticking out is very easy to find. Then you have the power on/off button. Along with the mute and unmute for your mic. Which depresses and sticks out when active. Which is nice from a tactile standpoint. On the right earcup you have your pairing for Bluetooth. Which works excellent. I had no problems with sound or connection problems. And easily was able to switch to different devices. Also, simultaneous with normal sound. You also have a voice/game chat slider. Which I wasn’t as big of a fan of. Is kind of wonky. Didn’t have enough time to really try out. Then you have the ANC button. BUILD QUALITY 9/10: The entire thing feels solid. I don’t notice any creaking. All buttons feel crisp and aren’t loose. Layout is well thought out. The joints feel good quality. Easily to move but also hold place. No complaints. OVERALL: Really enjoy this headset. One of the nicest I’ve ever owned. And I’ve own way to many of them. All of the flagships essentially for the past decade. While it doesn’t dethrone the best. It is a top performing headset and comes in at less money than those. I really don’t have any cons. The only thing is wish the ANC was a bit better. Wish it sounded a bit better than the A50x or Stealth Pros. And wish it had a quick replaceable battery. Otherwise, it’s great.

I have several higher end headsets and this one is up there with them. I primarily use these for the PS5, but do update the firmware to fix the mic issue. For that I used a PC, I believe you can update it through the app as well, I may be wrong. I have not have anyone complain about the microphone, so the firmware has definitely helped. The sound is very crystal clear and plenty loud. I do think they're accurate to help you visualize where the enemy is coming from. The comfort is there and the headset is very light. Light to the point where I feel it's fragile. Hopefully that's not the case and it has good durability unlike the V2 headset from Razer. I'm not the biggest fan of the cable dongle. I do like that you can place it anywhere as long as you have a USB C cable, but i might prefer a simple stick dongle. Some miscellaneous things are: -the volume knob is easy to reach and use -it has sidetone but must be turned on via PC and possibly through the app -good noise cancellation -usb c charging -long lasting battery -different EQs at the touch of a button Overall, this a very good higher end headset. 4.5 stars

I've been a wired headset user for awhile and looking to get a decent wireless headset. I've had a couple wireless ones in the past but none really fit the bill quite right. Either the sound was off, wireless connection was spotty or the headset just didn't fit right for one reason or another. With this headset though, it checked off a lot of boxes for me and I'm thinking I've found my go-to wireless headset now. For background, I've been using Astro A40s, seemingly, forever now. Good sound, mic is clear and static free, fits nicely and is comfortable to wear for long gaming sessions. Biggest two cons I had with it were that they weren't wireless and there's no noise cancelling on them. Having used this headset for a few days now, I'm really pleasantly surprised with these and it's coming time to, possibly, retire my A40s. Sound is crisp and clear. Whether gunshots in the distance or footsteps nearby, I can hear everything really clearly. Background noises in game are distinct but not muddled. All of this is aided by the ANC on these headphones. Blocks out quite a bit of the ambient background noise in my place so everything in game comes through crystal clear. Mic is also clear as well and teammates complimented me on how better I sound. Fit is also a plus for me. For those of you with big heads (I wear a 7 1/2 fitted cap) this one fits very comfortably with no head pinch. The earpads are a micro-suede type fabric. Not really my preferred ear pad material but they keep my ears cool during long gaming sessions. Button placement on the headset is quite intuitive so no fumbling around for this or that switch. Volume control is easily accessible and easy to manipulate as well. Only "downside" I can think of is that I kinda wished there was some RGB on this but that's superficial. Main point is these wireless headphones are great and looking forward to more gaming sessions with these bad boys.

I’m always on the hunt for a great headset to boost my gaming experience, and the BlackShark V3 Pro is another standout offering from Razer. After putting it through its paces with my PS5 Pro, I’m pretty excited to jump back into Death Stranding with it strapped to my head. The BlackShark V3 Pro is comfortable for my larger head, and I’ve had no trouble wearing it during long gaming sessions. The controls are easy to use without needing to look, and the overall build feels solid. A mix of plastic and metal gives it a sturdy, high-quality design. The metal volume knob feels satisfying and precise, while the chat mixer feels decent. Fabric ear pads are breathable and kept my ears cool during extended play. Audio quality is excellent. Bass packs a punch, mids are clean, and highs stay smooth. Noise-cancelling adds major value, letting me block out my busy household while focusing fully on the game. With kids and dogs creating plenty of background noise, this feature kept all but the loudest sounds out. The microphone picked up my voice clearly and naturally. My friends reported no dropouts or clarity issues. The boom mic is on the larger side and can be a bit distracting, but it disconnects easily when not in use. Setup with the PS5 Pro was straightforward using the long USB cable and the unique dongle at the end, which provides flexible placement. No interference was had during use. I also connected it to my phone using Bluetooth, which worked well. Dual simultaneous audio sources didn't seem to be a thing, but having the Bluetooth option for music or calls is a welcome bonus. Overall, I really like the BlackShark V3 Pro. Comfort is great, clamping force is light, mic performance is solid, and the sound quality is impressive. The connection to my PS5 Pro worked perfectly as well. I'd happily recommend it to anyone using a console or PC that supports it.

I have had the blissful experience of getting to use this gaming headset for over a week and honestly, I am hooked. Razer really knows how to make gaming PC peripherals that just effortlessly blend into my daily use. I really love that this headset supports simultaneous Bluetooth and 2.4ghz connectivity and audio! Being able to listen to music and game audio on my computer while watching a YouTube podcast on my phone at the same time is so great and supports my undiagnosed ADHD, haha! The audio of the headset itself is really great. I think that the esports setting is my favorite of the preset options as it seems to emphasize a good blend of mids and treble without going excessive on the bass. The set up of these headphones was very easy. The Razer Synapse 4 software was prepared to update the firmware on the headset and all the settings were able to be managed appropriately on it when I first powered it on with the 2.4ghz wireless receiver plugged in. Speaking of, all the included cables are fabric braided and the 2.4ghz receiver is able to be placed wherever in your set up you need it with the hook up to a USB-C to USB-A braided cable that is about 3-4 feet long. The only thing that I have found to be lacking is ambient noise mode and microphone. I could use more volume on my ambient surrounds when in that mode and I the microphone comes through sounding rather compressed and tinny at times. Altogether, I think this is yet another amazing iteration of the Blackshark gaming headset from Razer and they demonstrate a versatility and usefulness that is bound to be appreciated by most any user!

I've been using the Razer BlackShark V3 Pro Wireless headset for a few weeks now, and I'm blown away by the audio clarity. Whether I'm in a heated FPS match or listening to subtle ambient soundscapes, every detail pops with precision. The base is rich, but never overwhelming and the mids and highs are crystal clear. Pair that with superb wireless connection, and you have a headset that truly elevates your gaming experience. Highly recommended!

This is probably the best headset i've owned after spending the time to set my EQs properly. It took some time to get the firmware updates and software installed and tweaked. Sometimes the software can be janky and needs to be restarted. It has a really good mic, and the software has a lot of useful enhancements. It's got EQ for outgoing mic, and it's better than the old nvidia broadcast noise cancellation. This headset has the most powerful bass of any headphone I've ever worn. It physically shakes your head. Battery life is superb, and the range is insane. I used to have my old headset cut out when I walked to the other side of my apartment to go to the bathroom. Now I can walk all the way to my garage and it doesn't cut audio. The ANC is good, but I don't have anything to compare it to as this is my first headset with ANC. The presentation is clean, no unnecessary RGB barf or logos, just the subtle black one. I wish the volume knob was on the right side, I just have to re-learn muscle memory. The sliding parts that attach to the cans could have a bit more friction so they don't move. The only real issue I have is that the pads are too shallow and my ears touch the inside of the headset. Hopefully some aftermarket/3rd party companies can make some thicker pads for me, but I know this is a new headset and they haven't had the time.

I really like this headset. The battery life is great, sound is great and comfort is great. It doesn’t make my ears sweat and feels made of premium materials. The only gripe I have is razer software is not very intuitive to use and sometimes crashes while making changes or loading. If they can fix that this would be a 5/5

Overall these headphones provide immersive gaming and great audio quality due to the large drivers and software provided to tune it to your liking. I found the fit and feel heavier than I like and the foam ear muffs didn’t quite seal as tightly as I expected but that is an individual preference which yours may be different. Because they are large full ear covering headphones they do get warm especially after intense gaming sessions. The removeable mic has its good and bad side but overall I liked it. Bottom line is if you like the fit these headphones will put you into the game vs just hearing it. Pros: - Great immersive and THX sound quality especially for gaming - Good ANC - Vocal updates and status notifications - Synapse 4 software offers lots of options and control - 2.4 wireless and Bluetooth connectivity - Removeable microphone Cons: - Big headphones = can get hot and heavy after a while - Big volume control sticking out of an ear muff – almost Frankensteinish - No RGB - No flip up Microphone mute function - Not the best fit for me around the ears Performance: The Synapse 4 software has a THX demo that really showcases the immersive ability of these headphones. Playing Forza 5 it was quite obvious that the sound was much more immersive. Even playing War Thunder which isn’t THX still provided a much more 3d sound stage than normal. The overhead aircraft sounded directly over me as they flew past my position. In FPS games you definitely get more directional sounds which are an advantage. The microphone is an attachment so it’s not built into the headphones. Because of this it has a separate mute button vs the raise and lower boon type mic on other headphones. I was able to have the headphones connected wirelessly via the dongle while also connected to my phone via Bluetooth. Because it uses voice status updates instead of cryptic beeps all the functions are much easier to perform. All the controls on the headphones were easy to reach and recognize by touch. Razer provides full control of the headphones via the Synapse 4 app which is quite helpful and easy to use. The software list the games on your computer and will actually tell you which games support THX so you can get the most out of headphones. Fit and Feel: These are heavy headphones and the large volume control sticking out of the ear muff give you a sense that they are extra heavy. In reality the fit is comfortable but a tad on the heavy side which combined with the full ear muff can get noticeable over time.

I needed a new headset after my old one got uncomfortable and started costing me in-game awareness. After researching and comparing the Razer BlackShark V3 Pro and the Arctis Nova Pro, I went with Razer..and I’m so glad I did. This headset flipping rocks. Super lightweight, insanely comfortable, and the sound is phenomenal. Game presets are spot-on, THX audio is immersive, and the boom mic is removable. Active noise canceling? Yep, and it works great. There were concerns about the mic online, but Razer patched that with a firmware update. Even before the fix, I used Digital Foundry’s setup tips and never had a single complaint about mic quality. This is easily the best headset I’ve ever used for gaming. Comfortable, powerful, customizable. I love this headset, and you will too.

The overall quality is certainly there. This headset is very well made and sturdy. The firmness does lead to a bit of uncomfortability upon extended use, which is honestly the only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review. The general weight of it since it is a bit on the heavier side (because it is built to be firm) and also the mute button. For whatever reason the mute switch is on the back side of the ear cup, so you have to reach around the back side of the headset in order to mute it. This couldn't be any type of issue normally, but there is no indicator physically as to whether the switch is flipped on or off either so you have to actually remove it and look at it if you aren't sure. The pros are simple, this thing is easily the most durable headset I've purchased. The majority of it is made of metal rather than many that are made with mostly plastic generally. The actual microphone piece that plugs in is rather large, but the audio quality that it provides is very good. The battery life for it is also very good. I use headsets regularly for gaming at decent lengths, and I have only had to fully charge it about once at this point despite now having it for almost a month. All things considered I would recommend this product, especially if you're someone that doesn't utilize headsets for extensive sessions at a time because the qaulity is great!

I really like this headset. I've struggled to find a headset that I like and this one meets all my needs. ANC is important to me because my PC fans are rather loud and the ANC on this completely removes fan noise. Typically ANC has meant uncomfortable, warm, and heavy headsets, I was shocked by how comfortable this headset is. The fit/comfort for me is perfect. The headset is relatively light, has the perfect amount of clamping force for my head, and doesn't get warm. Sounds good and that's about all I can say about sound. I've been using with the Battlefield 6 beta and the sound immersion is very enjoyable. I'm able to locate enemies via footsteps too so I feel competitive.

Nothing hurts the pride more than being ambushed out of seemingly nowhere by a scav as you're trying to go through the streets of Tarkov. My old headphones had great audio quality, but no ability to process that sound in 3D. I could hear footsteps, but wouldn't know where the threat was coming from. These headphones, straight up let me hear a fly toot from 300 meters away. I could hear colors. Threats became hurdles, became trivialities. You want ~crisp~ sound, get these headphones. You'll hear your enemies scream all the way to the afterlife. And not even see them.

Razer BlackShark V2 Pro → V3 Pro Upgrade Review

    |

Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The BlackShark V3 Pro is a clear and meaningful step up from the V2 Pro – easily the best wireless gaming headset Razer has released to date. What actually got fixed/improved: Finally USB-C charging. The old micro-USB port on the V2 was infuriating – stiff, finicky, and the cable popped out if you breathed on it. USB-C is rock-solid and fast-charges without drama. Much better microphone. Noticeably clearer and more natural-sounding than the V2’s already decent mic. Detachable, flexible, and feels premium now. User-replaceable battery. A magnetic side plate pops off and you can swap the battery yourself. Huge win for longevity (and Razer actually sells spares). Sound quality, comfort balance, and 2.4 GHz connection feel refined rather than reinvented – which is fine because the V2 was already excellent in those areas. The one lingering complaint (why not 5 stars): The stock ear pads are still the weak link. They’re “good enough” for 1-2 hour sessions, but after 3–4 hours my ears get hot and fatigued – same exact issue I had with every previous BlackShark. Third-party pads (Wicked Cushions, Brainwavz, etc.) completely transform the comfort, and I’ll almost certainly be replacing them again. It’s frustrating that Razer still hasn’t nailed stock pads on a $250 headset in 2025. Verdict: If you own a V2 Pro, the USB-C, better mic, and replaceable battery alone make the upgrade worth it – especially when the V3 occasionally drops to ~$170-180 on sale. If you’re coming from anything older (or a different brand entirely), just buy the V3 Pro and budget $40-60 for aftermarket ear pads. With that one swap, this is a legitimate 5-star headset. Highly recommended.

As a longtime user of Razer products, especially their Deathadder V3 mice (Hyperspeed and Pro) and headsets (Blackshark V2 Pro and V3 Pro) and desktop audio (Nommo V2) - I am confused about this product. I don't understand what Razer was trying to bring to the market. As I continue to use and get time with this new headset... I find myself liking it less and less. The Blackshark V3 Pro has some new features compared to V2 - Most importantly, for gamers, would be the new Hyperspeed Wireless dongle. This device is meant to give you lightning fast response times on your audio delivery. Think of this as "ensuring you hear the footsteps before they ever reach you" technology. I, personally, am not enough of a professional gamer to notice the difference. I do believe that for those who want the fastest response time for their audio, with no cables allowed, Razer offers a compelling solution. Razer's V3 Pros also have ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) with transparency mode. The ANC and transparency modes are lackluster, to say the least. I daily drive popular audio solutions from popular audio manufacturers, with ANC, both earbuds and on-ear headphones. Let me just say... Razer's ANC, from my point of view, does absolutely nothing, except add a muffle to all of the sound happening around you. I find that distracting. If ANC does not truly clear sound out of my environment. I'd rather have it off. There are 3 different types of ANC that you can toggle between in Razer Synapse, Razer's desktop software for all of their PC hardware and accessories. I did not see a noticeable difference between the 3 modes. I was not able to even block out the noise of soft jazz playing in the other room. The music was slightly muffled, but that's all I can say. If you have a fan that is blowing silently behind you, the ANC will mask that sound. If the fan is a bit too noisy, then you'll probably hear it through the ANC. The build on this device is... Degraded, compared to the V2. I do understand the need to cut costs, in today's economy. What I do not understand... Is why the V3 feels so much cheaper than the V2. It seems that Razer did a great job picking out high quality foams for the V2. I would say that the ear covers were soft and luxurious, same goes for the top of the headband. On the V3, there is a new type of bio-based polymer that they are using, along with (I assume) a new memory foam or padding fill material. Here's my honesty though - I don't find the headset comfortable. I don't like how it sits on my head or on my ears. I feel that the foam bottoms out much sooner than it should, which is extremely bothersome for someone like me who wears his gaming headset for long sessions. I don't like the idea of wearing a headset that's uncomfortable. Razer used to have the most comfortable and cloud-comparable headset on the market with the Blackshark V2. Finally, I feel that the plastics they have moved to, no longer feel premium. The new plastic feels cheap. It's too light and hollow feeling. There is a subtle difference between lightweight-premium and cheap-feeling. Razer went over the edge, and the new plastic does not feel premium. It's passable. I don't think it's passable on a premium-grade audio product, though. Premium audio - how good is the audio? Again, lackluster. I do not know what they did when they chose their new 50mm drivers, but the drivers in the V2 were wonderful. I did not have any complaints about the audio quality. The V2 was not audiophile grade - but it was comfortable, clear, and well-sounding across all audio ranges. Music, movies, shooters, and RPGs, were all a joy to listen to with the V2. With V3... You will be just fine in games. I want to ensure clarity here - the audio that you get from games will be fast, performant, and I do believe that the THX virtual surround sound technology (Included in Razer Synapse) will help you in your Fortnite grind. It's important to hear what's around you, and you do get that experience with the Blackshark V3. I don't recommend enjoying a movie or your favorite tunes on here, though. There is a remarkable lack of rumbly bass, a lack of clear highs, a lack of balance in the mids, and everything begins to sound like discord above about 80% volume on Windows 11. This is... Not, at all, what I expected from Razer. I've used their audio solutions in the past. They have always delivered reasonably good results for me. This leaves me wondering if there is something wrong with the drivers on my unit, but based on all I've seen and tested so far, I don't believe anything is physically wrong with my headset. To be clear - I tested audio across many use cases with the EQ enabled in Razer Synapse, THX surround sound enabled and disabled, ANC on and off. The mic quality and Bluetooth quality are great. Bluetooth connection is strong and reliable, but the audio quality will still be suspect. Razer continues to lead the pack with a very high quality mic setup, which honestly, is one of the main goals with a gaming headset. You can wander around your house without losing connection to your phone or console, and I believe they used a quality Bluetooth chipset in this headset. Where does this leave us? I really don't know. I'm confused about this product. I feel like Razer built an amazing product previously, and they've chosen to take a step back on this release. I'm not sure if firmware can fix the ANC/Transparency effects, or audio quality, but I'm hopeful about it. I'd like to see this product be better, because it has the makings of something amazing. I won't say that the headset is purely uncomfortable to wear, but I won't lie about what is truly comfortable versus something that is passable. This leaves us in no man's land. I cannot recommend this product in its current state. If you find the headset to be comfortable to wear and Razer improves the headset through firmware updates, this may be the headset for you. For me, the Blackshark V3 Pro just does not fulfill my wants.

[Employee of bestbuy] This headset is amazing. The earpads are comfortable and are great if you have a big head and ears. It has an insane amount of features, such as: - active noise cancellation that works great for getting rid of minor sounds like an A/C unit. -They have Bluetooth that can be used SIMULTANEOUSLY, which is awesome. This means that while you are waiting for your game to load, you can actually listen to your phone audio or even take a call that can actually use the headset mic, while you can still listen to your game on your pc - an insane headset microphone, one of the best ones that shares the top spot with the HS80 headset from Corsair. Make sure to download the update once you boot up the companion app, which makes the mic sound 100x better. This headset is better than the HS80 max for the features, and for the sound, I believe it's better than the Steel Series Artics Nova Pro Wireless, which costs 300-350 dollars with a much worse microphone. Overall, if you have the money to spend and are looking for a great-sounding headset with great battery life and a ton of features, this is the one to go with.

It is a great headset overall. Great microphone and audio quality. I didn’t like it because it caused pain on my ears. I do have fairly bigger ears and it was causing pain, hotness, and discomfort there from using it for 2-4 hours only. Not the right fit for me but I’m sure it will be for someone else
