For the money, it's okay. It's not great. I would get the Turtle Beach Atlas Air wired or wireless if I were you.

Clearly, this is a gaming headset, but I also was looking for one that I could use for other needs as well. This one easily does both for me. That said, I really wanted it for gaming, and it has been perfect for me for that. They are lightweight, set-up was quick and simple, connectivity has been rock solid, and performance has been great.
After the performance, the main thing I am looking for in a headset is comfort. Long gaming sessions, as well as general use (since that was a want of mine) just mean comfort is a must for me. These are extremely comfortable. The band has the right amount of pull, the cups fit my ears well (for sure a personal thing, but I think most should be good), they made nice materials choices, and they just “feel good” overall. I am just very pleased here.
Buttons and knobs were all well thought out, placed in good spots, and are responsive. Further, and I realize this is more of a personal thing, but I just love the look. Plain. Clean. Simple. All of the matte black. I suppose some may call it boring, and want something more “gamer,” but this look is just perfect for me.
In game? I couldn’t be happier. The sound quality is fantastic, noise cancellation is effective, surround is solid, and the level of control is what I am looking for (both in game and in the software). Just really zero issues so far to point to. The mic sits well, is easy to adjust (and remove), and voice comes out clean and crisp.
Ultimately, I like and am very happy with this headset. It is very comfortable, looks great, is easy to use, and, most importantly, works, very well, and has improved my gaming experience.

I’ve had a very hard time finding good headsets lately. Either the echo or quality of them was just blah…I thought these were the one until they would stop connecting to my computer…3 months in. Oh well, time to find another brand after trying steel series, Astro, turtle beach, razer, Sony, I know there’s a few more. But save your money…

I love the foam in these headsets, solid yet instantly moldable, I can wear them with my glasses all day without an issue, you really don’t even notice that there is a stick between your head and the cushion. The design is solid and feels high quality. They aren’t the lightest headset that I’ve ever used, but they are far from heavy. The microphone is removable and sounds great to everyone that I asked and I love the mute button, it did take a min to remember the difference in sounds it makes when the mic comes off mute versus on mute, but i appreciate that it is just a noise versus a voice telling me mute on as i’m trying to listen still. I don’t really use this during games as I’ll use press-to-talk in most games, but I really like it for work meetings. I love being able to hear my voice to test out the mic when i need too but i really wish the wheel was customizable to maybe bluetooth volume. The volume wheel is awesome and easy to find, and it switches to bluetooth when it is connected, but having dual independent control of the volumes would be awesome, which i guess I should add that another awesome feature of this is you can hear bluetooth audio and the wireless connection at the same time, I think the main reason I like this is I can pause the source I don’t want to hear, but when devices try to auto switch between two sources they don’t seem to get it right ever, so the solution of just sending both sources and letting you decide is absolutely amazing. The app on the computer gives you some customizability like EQ settings and allows you to select which settings you switch through with the button on the right cup. I have mixed up which button is the EQ preset and which one is the ANC button as they don’t feel much different unlike the power button on the left cup which is textured. I wish one of the buttons on the right was textured however they are separated by the mic volume button so eventually I should be able to remember. The ANC isn’t amazing, I have a server running in my office while i’m configuring it before it finds its eventual home in the garage as it is loud. This headset cuts the noise a tiny bit but not nearly as well as other ANC headphones. It does let voices through well which I appreciate, and the ambient seems to work well and not amplify sounds like said server above. The dongle is excellent for a desktop setup but annoying if you are on the go quite a bit, I found myself relying on the USB C to Aux adapter, and just be aware, this is Aux out to USB C in, trying to use it in your car as USB C out to Aux in doesn’t work. Lastly I love that this is completely usable when charging, I never remember to charge my headset (especially when it can last a week under normal usage) until it says low battery. Which is always exactly when I want/need to use it for something like a meeting, phone call, gaming session, etc. The fact that I can plug it into a battery back if I need to walk around or even just plug it directly into the computer if I happen to be using a computer without the dongle that I haven’t paired via Bluetooth (though this disables Bluetooth). Overall, this delivers awesome surround sound that is just about required for gaming, amazing for movies and can be used for work just as easily as play.

The brand new Razer BlackShark V3 Pro ANC Wireless Headset delivers a significant step up in performance and refinement over the V2. With active noise cancellation, cross‑platform compatibility (PC, Mac, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, smartphone), and refined internals, it’s Razer’s most feature‑rich BlackShark yet—and it shows.
The good:
Overall sound: The BlackShark V3 Pro delivers warm, immersive sound with crisp highs, punchy yet well‑controlled bass, and excellent directional clarity. Whether you’re chasing footsteps in competitive shooters or losing yourself in game soundtracks, the audio is immersive and accurate.
Design & build quality: Lightweight yet robust, with a refined matte finish and reinforced headband. The earcups are plush and supportive, and overall build feels more premium and stable than earlier models.
Comfort & fit: Memory‑foam earcups wrapped in breathable mesh plus an adjustable, well‑padded headband provide exceptional comfort over long sessions, even with my glasses on.
Microphone & ANC quality: Razer’s HyperClear Super‑Wideband mic shines with clear, natural‑sounding voice quality across vocal tones. The active noise cancellation is effective at muting ambient hums and chatter—ideal for focused gaming or calls. Mic clarity is fantastic.
Controls: Convenient onboard controls include a proper tactile volume dial (absolutely love this!), mic mute button, power/Bluetooth profile button, and ANC toggle. Easy to use without reaching for software menus, once you get used to where everything is located.
Notable extras:
Cross‑platform Bluetooth + 2.4 GHz wireless dongle for ultra-low latency on PC and PlayStation.
Onboard profile memory, so your EQ and THX settings follow the headset across devices.
Long battery life—expect up to 60–70 hours on a single charge, even with ANC active. Under fairly regular usage so far I’ve charged essentially once a week.
THX Spatial Audio sounds wide and immersive.
The bad:
Razer software limitations: The desktop customization app is Windows‑only. Mac users can use the headset wirelessly or wired, but can’t access Synapse/THX tuning on macOS.
Mobile app recognition: At time of review, the Razer Audio mobile app doesn’t yet recognize the V3 Pro—even though the headset works perfectly via Bluetooth. You won’t be able to access EQ presets or update firmware from your phone, though core functionality is unaffected.
Playstation OR Xbox: While it works on Xbox hardware, it lacks app-based configuration on that platform (though most adjustable settings can be stored onboard).
Overall: The Razer BlackShark V3 Pro ANC Wireless is a flagship‑level gaming headphone: superb sound, elite mic quality, strong ANC, long battery life, and all‑day comfort. Its only real shortcomings are software limitations—not hardware—and those don’t compromise daily use on PC, PlayStation, Switch, Mac or smartphone connectivity. Whether you’re competing in esports or simply enjoying a long gaming binge, this headset delivers high‑end performance with hardly any compromises. Easy 5 stars for me.

This version of the Razer Blackshark is the first generation I've used. There are a couple of things I want in a headset for my computer and for gaming uses. I look for an immersive experience, comfort for a long period of using them, and zero lag. In all three cases, I can say the V3 of the BlackShark is great. The headset can be connected to a device via Bluetooth, via a hyper speed module that is included with the headset, and then of course wired. In my testing, the lag is the least with a wired connection. For me that is fine because I am usually at my desk or in range of my machine when using these. One cool thing about these though is that they have amazing sound! The sound profile is balanced, but with great bass considering it's a headset, and has different profiles built in that with the push of a button on the headset, built-in equalizer settings activate. It announces which profile you are using, and most of them are subtle between each other, but I could definitely tell a more nimble sound with the game preset. Listening to music in these was so good. I don't know that I would wear these as everyday listeners because they are a bit bulky, but if I'm working at my computer these have an amazing sound for music and video. And that brings me to comfort. They are surprisingly light considering their size, and I had no issues wearing these for hours while gaming. The lag was non-existent, and even trying the hyper speed connection I had no discernible lag. The microphone is detachable, and I used it a little, but the recording I did made it clear that this is a high quality mic. The volume knob on the side is funny looking but is so nice for small adjustments. There is a sidetone that gives you feedback while you're talking, which I am so thankful for. So in summary, these met all my expectations. They are comfy, sound amazing, and perform great with gaming. I wholeheartedly recommend these!

For this price range these are the worst. Setup was terrible experience. The charging wire is also the wireless connector. Who wants to unplug that each time. Device connection is horrible. Turns itself off. Disconnects constantly. There was nothing positive about the product at all. Returned and switched to Logitech A50. Perfect in all comparisons

I love Razer for their headsets. The ones I’ve had in the past have been incredibly comfortable, even with my giant head, and sound amazing. I was only in the market for a new headset because I lost the wireless dongle adapter for my set of V2 Pro and unfortunately it’s really difficult to get a replacement. They are, like this headset, bluetooth compatible, but my PC has an older less reliable version of bluetooth that caused too many issues to deal with. I’m really happy with this upgrade though! A big fix is that I no longer need to position the wireless adapter in a USB port that is close to the headset. With the in box extension cable, I can have it sitting on my desk and enjoy a beautiful wireless connection.
The audio quality is top notch. Even compared to my partner’s headset that is wired with a DAC, we found the wireless performance to be incredible. Audio was crystal clear and I was regularly complimented on the mic quality by my friends. The spatial audio is really impressive and I do think my performance has improved when playing games like Call of Duty or Fortnite. The noise cancellation is so good that I didn’t even hear my cats fighting in the same room as me lol
The Synapse PC app adds a lot of features to these headsets that I wish were built in. I love having sidetone (where you can hear your own voice) but the fact that it’s settings are in the Synapse app is kind of a bummer. Regardless of where the features are, there are a lot of features to tinker with in the app for gamers to really zero in on the best audio settings for them.
I am supremely happy with the V3 Pro and while the quibble of some features only accessible through the Synapse app, the worry about future support is a little worrisome. I’ve been trying to get a replacement for my last gen headset for months and have gotten nowhere. Protect the dongle with every fiber of your being and you are going to absolutely fall in love with this headset.
Pros:
Superb audio, input and output
Extremely comfortable, even for a big head like me
Wireless dongle with extension cord to place on desk instead of back of desktop
THX Spatial Audio is amazing for positional audio
Noise Cancellation is incredibly good
Simultaneous audio from bluetooth and 2.4ghz
Connects to everything except Xbox (different model required for that)
Synapse App is easy to use
Cons:
Future support is questionable
Many features, like sidetone, require using the PC Synapse app
No pretty colors, just black and white

The Razer - BlackShark V3 Pro ANC Wireless Gaming Headset is a premium-quality product with high-end features and serious performance.
There’s a lot I like.
* The design and build-quality give the headset an overall feeling of a premium, almost luxury, product.
* The stitched-leather headband
* The under-stated style
* The way the ear covers slide up and down their wire frames (instead of the usual expanding headband).
* The on-ear buttons are easy to locate by hand and identify - and have a solid-build feel.
* The large volume control for the mic is just great.
* The sound quality seems expansive to me.
* I noticed a marked improvement from my previous headphones right away. Subtle, yet unmistakable. I think it could best be described as a greater degree of clarity and spacial positioning. This is a big help to gaming. Sounds in the ‘distance’ are ‘nearer’ than ever.
* The preset EQ settings are excellent. From eSports and Gaming, to music, movie, or default, each setting seemed perfectly tuned to my needs.
* The addition of ANC on/off, along with an ‘Ambient’ mode (which enhances sounds around you) is very helpful. The Ambient mode is useful for those times when someone needs speak to me.
* Dual connectivity via bluetooth and/or a special wireless dongle is great.
* Both of these worked flawlessly. I paired the wireless with my gaming PC and the bluetooth with my AppleTV. As a result, I can simple pick up the headphones and turn them on and I’m ready to go for either use.
Considerations:
I don’t have much in the way of negatives to report. I do wish the wireless dongle could be plugged right into the USB port of my PC instead of hanging at the end of a longer-than-needed cord. The ANC is noticeable, but not the best I’ve experienced. And the headphones fit snuggly and comfortably, but I do feel a relief of pressure when I take them off. I wish the padding was slightly thicker.
Highly recommended as premium headphones.

I received these headphones from Best Buy to test and after trying them out for the last week, I am really impressed with their overall performance. I had previously been using both the PS5 Pulse Elite and and old Logitech gaming set and this easily competes with them at a better price.
One of the standout features for me is just how comfortable they are. I’ve worn them for several longer sessions, from late-night multiplayer on my PS5 to chill handheld gaming on the Switch, and they never felt heavy or tight. The adjustable band and cushy earcups definitely help with that.
Sound-wise, they’ve got that deep, rich audio you want, which was clear as soon as I turned them on. Every blaster shot in Star Wars Outlaws was crisp and the engine roar felt immersive when flying through space. I also appreciate the balance between bass and detail. It doesn’t drown things out but still has punch when it needs to.
Setup was a breeze thanks to the included USB-C dongle. That little thing makes switching between my gaming PC, Switch, and PS5 super simple. Just unplug, move it over, and I’m connected in seconds. No menus, no pairing issues, just plug and play.
Pros
• Super comfortable for long sessions
• Deep, rich sound with great clarity
• Easy plug and play setup with the USB-C dongle
• Works across multiple platforms like PC, PS5, and Switch
• Mic is clear and tucks away when not in use
Cons
• No dedicated volume dial on the headset
• Doesn’t support Bluetooth

Razer has been making some of the best gaming headsets for years so I was really looking forward to this new model being released.
Pros:
- These headphones are incredibly versatile. While, as you would expect, they have excellent performance for gaming purposes, consider that you can ALSO use these as noise-canceling headphones that you can take on the go with you. You can remove the detachable microphone, pair them to your phone via Bluetooth, and you've now got dual purpose headphones for the price of one.
- Not only is this headset compatible with Windows/Mac, but it also is designed to function with the Nintendo Switch, Playstation, and other devices. There is a separate model available if you are looking for an Xbox headset.
- When I have a long gaming session, the #1 most important thing to me with headsets is their comfort. I found the Blackshark V3 Pro to be plenty comfortable, fitting nicely over my ears and having the perfect amount of cushion across the top of my head.
- The sound quality itself was phenomenal as the surround sound immersed me into my games very very well.
Cons:
- While this model will cost you more than many other headsets in the gaming space, I found it to be well worth it. So if it's in your price range, no worries.
If you are in the market for a high end gaming headset, this is my new favorite model available. I don't think that it will disappoint anyone.
