This is probably the most versatile comfortable headset out there that has an amazingly good sounding mic! Now im no stranger to gaming headsets, ive had a LOT of them including the older blackshark v2 pro. I can say with this new v3 pro that it’s a pretty nice upgrade all around. Specifically I like that they brought back the 3.5mm audio cable to usb c so it can be used with basically any source with an audio jack. This has the ability to connect to 2 sources at once aka 2.4 and bluetooth so you can have music or a phone call in your ears along with game and still control your game/voice balance with the rolling dial on the ear cup which is just perfect. Any settings if you connect to your phone and use the razer app you can change basically anything and actually save the settings to the headset itself for use with any source and it locks it in. This in itself is something ive wanted for years. The battery life is rated at 48 hours and though I havent timed my use I can say it lasted 3 days of solid music and gaming use before being low which is way more than prior. These are extremely comfortable, ive always loved the whole ear cup suspension wire design it makes it even better this time around with the light swivel ability to relieve the old pain point that could sometimes break. You can cycle through 9 presets for EQ using the button on the ear cup or double press the same button for source control. (Or use the app) The real star of the show if you care is the fact these have active noise cancelation (ANC). And with multi level control of such in the settings app it’s actually amazing to lock in with. I have several high end ANC wireless headphones and though these are not at that level these are far beyond any run of the mill headphones let alone gaming headset which these blow everything else out of the water on. Not to mention THE best sounding mic in any wireless set ive ever tried. This is just the best of all things around with the most options to be used there is no reason not to get the xbox version of this headset either because you can still use it with PC or anything else if you need because there is multiple chips in the headset for connectivity it just works for almost everything which isnt usually a thing for the “xbox version”.

PROS: - Earpads are super comfortable (all-around comfort is an A+++) - Top build & material quality, which really makes it feel premium - Sleek, minimalistic design is a great change from RGB light focused sets. - Excellent sound with Windows Sonic with Xbox as well as Dolby Atmos (if you have a license). - Excellent microphone with a large boom Very impressive battery life (approx 60-70 hrs). SO-SO: - $250 price tag (while this may seem to be expensive for a gaming headset, I feel like they do live up to the price tag when comparing them to other premium sets - ANC gives a bit of distortion (if you're looking for it); However, that is true with most ANC tech these days CONS: - Given the high price and premium of this headset, I wish they'd come with an included license for Dolby Atmos. Razer is at its best when it focuses solely on its gaming products. In the past, they've lost their way with overexpansion to other markets, but in the past few years, they've found their way again by focusing on what they do best. Their new BlackShark V3 Pro comes at a time when there are many options for gaming headsets available. With these devices, it's hard to set itself apart in a saturated market. Yet, Razer has done so with their newest flagship headset. With audio drivers designed for enhanced sound clarity and richness, this headset is engineered to provide an immersive audio experience that is hard to match (especially on the Xbox). Not only does it boast improved sound quality from previous versions, but it also includes other features, making it one of the best high-end gaming headsets I've had the pleasure of using in recent years. And boy, have I used many. The BlackShark V3 Pro clearly stands out among my favorite headsets at home. Its combination of design, audio performance, and useful features makes it our new go-to for the Xbox setup. The fact that there isn't a single RGB light associated with this headset is a surprise considering Razer's past fixation with overindulgent lighting. What's the most critical aspect of a headset? The sound. Never mind how long the battery life lasts when the sound isn't up to par. Right? I can safely say, the sound on this set of cans is rich, precise, and detailed. The V3 Pro is a well-balanced headset on the default EQ settings. The settings themselves are easy to tweak, but I haven't felt the need to stray away from the default. When using them with the Xbox, I chose both Dolby Atmos and Windows Sonic, and I prefer Dolby, but again, this is probably subjective. I played a bit of Indiana Jones, Cyberpunk, and NBA 2K25, and all games sounded outstanding. Cyberpunk, especially, with its emphasis on sound design, helps this headset truly shine. The positional audio and overall sound quality of the drivers (50mm) significantly reduce distortion and enhance the finer details. Situated along the right earpad, you'll find physical buttons designed for seamless navigation through various EQ presets, as well as a chat volume mix wheel. Additionally, the active noise cancellation (ANC) and ambient sound toggle are also available. These tactile buttons and wheel make it really easy to adjust while you're playing. Other headsets I've had in the past have been frustrating because I find it easier to take the headset off and make the necessary changes rather than try to while wearing it. The V3 makes it so you can easily adjust without frustrations. On the left side of the headset, you'll discover the power button, mic mute toggle, and a USB-C charging port (I'm so glad USB-C is the standard across electronics). The master volume is conveniently adjusted via a prominent knob that protrudes from the left earcup, providing easy reach and precise digital volume control for any platform. If you prefer a wired setup over a wireless one, you can use it wired (especially when the battery needs to be recharged). The V3 Pro may look a lot like its previous version, the V2, but it's no doubt refined. The headband is made from a flexible aluminum frame, wrapped in a leatherette upper and stitched with a jersey mesh cushion underneath. The headset has thin aluminum collars that not only extend outward, allowing for ample adjustments to secure a comfortable fit. It all feels lightweight (376 grams) and comfortable when wearing it, even for extended hours. Both my son and I share it while we play single-player campaigns, and neither of us has to fuss with adjustments when we use it. One of the best parts of the V3 Pro is the earpads, which are constructed with thick memory foam and encased in a soft, jersey fabric that helps with breathability. This can be one of the biggest gripes gamers have. No one wants sweaty, hot ears that only bring discomfort. The V3 Pro adds to its comfort with the breathability. The clamp force is mild, meaning it won't give excessive pressure, no matter how big your head may be (I have a large one). This device features noise cancellation (ANC), simultaneous audio connectivity, and a wired analog input option. The natural closed-back design offers excellent sound isolation. ANC sometimes can distort the audio, and with the V3 Pro, if you listen carefully, you can hear the difference. Still, it's not nearly as impactful as some of the headsets I've had in the past. If you're playing in a quiet environment, I'd leave off ANC, but if you're in a busy household trying to enjoy a game or two, you'll want to use it. As per the product's description, the BlackShark V3 Pro is designed for use with the 2.4GHz wireless dongle (10ms latency). I'm not a "professional gamer" by any means, but if I were, I wouldn't hesitate to use this headset. When setting it up with my Xbox, I had a bit of trouble connecting it, but only because I was used to connecting using Bluetooth, which didn't work as well as plugging it into the Xbox and connecting it that way. Now, that may have been user error on my part, so you may have better success than I. The battery life of the BlackShark V3 Pro is impressive, while Razer claims 70 hours, with ANC enabled, I measured around the lower 60s. With so many different sound settings, battery life can vary. The microphone sports a large boom (compared to so many other headsets we've had in the past), which only helps with the crisp sound of voices (so I've been told). It's nice to be able to take it out when I don't need it. Still, generally, I leave it in so my son doesn't have to bother putting it in when he plays Fortnite or any other online game with his friends.

I spent a week with the Razer BlackShark V3 Pro ANC Wireless Gaming Headset for Xbox and it's impressive. This model introduces hybrid active noise cancellation, upgraded 50 mm TriForce bio-cellulose drivers, and a new detachable 12 mm microphone. The Xbox version supports Windows Sonic and features green accents to set it apart. This headset is definitely designed for serious players who want more than the basics. Even though it can be used for PC and other platforms, my focus was on how well it does with Xbox gaming. Unboxing The headset comes in Razer’s black and green packaging. Inside are the headset itself, a detachable microphone, a HyperSpeed Gen-2 dongle that has the USB and Xbox switch, with a USB-C to USB-A cable, a USB-C charging cable, and a USB-C to 3.5 mm adapter. The Xbox model adds green stitching and magnetic side covers that conceal a removable battery. Setup was simple, with the dongle instantly pairing to my Xbox Series X. Controls include a large volume wheel, ANC switch, and game and chat dial. There's a mic mute/unmute button and EQ presets for game, music, movie, and Esports. Everything feels sturdy and premium, there are not creaks or parts that feel loose, although the dongle takes up more space than a simple stick receiver. Specs The V3 Pro weighs just under 370 grams and uses memory foam earcups wrapped in fabric. There are 50 mm bio-cellulose drivers rated from 20 Hz to 28 kHz. Wireless are Razer’s 2.4 GHz low-latency link and Bluetooth 5.3, and you can run both at once. Battery life is specced up to 70 hours on PC and about 48 on Xbox, with quick charging that give you six hours of use in fifteen minutes. The detachable microphone includes noise suppression. On Xbox the headset supports Windows Sonic and PC users can use THX Spatial. Features The standout feature is hybrid active noise cancellation that cuts down on background noise. It's really impressive, cancelling out almost everything around me. There is a mode that lets in ambient sound outside sound through when needed. The headset can pair over 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth at the same time, which makes it easy to take a call or play music while gaming. There is a physical game and chat balance wheel that makes adjustments easier when playing with a group. Razer includes EQ presets, like ones tuned specifically for shooters, and you can dive into the app if you want to fully customize the sound yourself. The headset feels great to wear over hours of gaming. It has oval ear cushions, a sturdy headband, and earcups that swivel just enough to fit comfortably. I also like that the battery is removable, so you can swap it out down the road instead of replacing the whole headset, but more importantly swap it out if you're in the middle of a gaming session and don't have time for a quick charge. Performance The headset sounds excellent across different types of games. In shooters like Halo Infinite and Overwatch 2, directional audio was very precise and helped me locate opponents all around me. You can hear footsteps and calculate distance based off the sound. Explosions have a lot of weight without drowning out voices or footsteps. You can adjust the EQ if you need to dial down highs or just find the exact sound you're looking for. The microphone is clear and sounds lime my natural voice for team chat, though it still picks up some room noise. ANC is really good. I really got lost in my games; with someone sitting less than 10 feet away gaming on a computer, and I didn't hear a sound. After long gaming sessions the headset was still comfortable. Battery life lived up to expectations, giving me nearly a week of daily gaming before recharging. I didn't count the hours but it's long. The BlackShark V3 Pro for Xbox is one of the best headsets out there for console gaming. It has detailed and accurate audio, long battery life, it's comfortable, and exceptional noise cancellation. It's the most complete headset I've had on the Xbox, and Windows Sonic is a cool extra for Xbox gamers. The dongle is a little bulkier than I would like, but overall the experience justifies any minor complaints for those who want premium gear. The microphone is very good for team chat, even if it's not a dedicated studio mic. Razer really delivered a premium headset and it's nice to have features the pros use even if you're only a casual gamer. I would definitely recommend these headphones to anyone serious about xbox gaming. Pros and Cons Pros Exceptional directional audio with good highs and lows Noise cancellation that removes background distractions Comfortable design for long hours of gaming Battery life up to 48 hours on Xbox with quick charge of 6 hours Detachable microphone Adjustable EQ settings Multiple connectivity options with dual wireless mode (Bluetooth and wireless) Game/Chat balance wheel Premium build with a removable battery and interchangeable magnetic ear plates Cons Dongle and cable take up extra space Microphone can pick up a little background noise Default sound might need a few adjustments on EQ

As an avid gamer with three sons who share my passion, I'm always on the lookout for a headset that truly enhances the gaming experience. Primarily a PC and Xbox gamer, I gravitate towards story-driven titles where immersion is key. Razer's new headset not only delivers on this front but also stands out as one of the most comfortable pairs of headphones I've ever used. Setting up the headset was incredibly simple, almost plug-and-play, especially since I already had Razer's software installed for my speakers and keyboard. While I don't consider myself an audiophile, I do appreciate high-quality audio. My go-to for most audio needs is typically my Sony XM6, but I tend to bounce around headsets since my sons often borrow my headphones when theirs act up. The V3 Pros are truly impressive. Their 7.1.4 surround sound allows for incredible detail in environmental audio, and the convenient volume dial on one earcup makes adjustments effortless. Beyond the excellent sound, the comfort of these headphones is a major highlight. The earcups are exceptionally plush and breathable, preventing my ears from overheating during extended gaming sessions. I've worn them for long World of Warcraft marathons and often forget I have them on. The headband is equally comfortable and plush, and despite having a larger head, I experienced no pressure on the crown or clamping on the sides. I hadn't realized how much a game-changer Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) would be for gaming headphones, though it makes sense given that all my other earbuds and headphones offer it. The V3 Pros excel at blocking out distractions, allowing for deep focus on the game. Just be mindful that it will be difficult to hear your surroundings, so if situational awareness is necessary, it's best to leave ANC off. A standout feature is its simultaneous connectivity: I can pair it with my phone via Bluetooth and connect to my PC or Xbox with the dongle, allowing me to answer calls without interrupting my game. I've even used them with my Switch 2 for Donkey Kong Bananza, and the audio performance was excellent. While more affordable gaming headsets exist, none match the V3 Pro's superior combination of sound quality, comfort, ANC, and build quality. I wholeheartedly recommend them and am already planning to customize them further with new plates. I absolutely adore the V3 Pro, a headset that I can confidently compare to my highly-praised Sony XM6. Its sound quality is exceptional, the microphone delivers clear audio, and the active noise cancellation (ANC) is remarkably effective. For extended gaming sessions, the comfort is unparalleled. The battery life is also incredibly long, making it ideal for unexpected gaming marathons with friends.

For the last week, I've been testing the new Razer Blackshark V3 Pro for Xbox. (Note: it also works with PC and other gaming consoles.) Overall, it's a great-sounding and comfortable headset that looks and feels like a real pair of aviation headphones. It also has excellent connectivity options. However, make sure you update the firmware on a PC before using it on the Xbox because I had a different opinion on sound and latency with the out-of-the-box firmware. The box contained the headphones, microphone, a Hyperspeed wireless Gen 2 dongle, a braided USB-C to 3.5mm headphone jack, and braided USB-C to USB-A cables. The cloth and memory foam material on the head pad and the ear cups, as well as the good clamping force and hinges that provide 15 degrees of swivel, ensured this headset was comfortable for long gaming sessions. However, they don't have enough articulation to lay flat. The buttons and controls are intuitive. I specifically like that the knob for raising and lowering the volume is different from the wheel that adjusts the game/chat balance. The sound performance of the BlackShark is very good, especially when I turned on the THX spatial audio. With the THX spatial audio, the performance changes from standard 2-channel stereo to a very immersive simulated 7.1.4 sound. The ANC is also really good for keeping out environmental distractions, and there are 5 built-in equalizer presets. Either can be fine-tuned in the Razer Synapse app. Connectivity of these headphones is excellent. For Xbox, I was able to use the Hyperspeed wireless Gen 2 dongle. This dongle is a 2.4Ghz wireless transmitter that is significantly faster and has a longer range than Bluetooth. Speaking of Bluetooth, I was able to use it simultaneously with my phone so I didn't miss any calls while gaming. Also, I love that if I want to use the Blackshark with other consoles or a PC, I can easily switch the dongle to USB mode and maintain the faster speed and range. For gaming consoles that don't have any wireless, there is also an option for a wired connection. With all that said, Razer makes some fantastic products. If you are looking for a comfortable gaming headset that works with Xbox, has immersive and tunable sound, and offers versatile connection options, look no further; this is it.

Razer BlackShark headphones have consistently been viewed as one of the top headsets for gamers model after model, so expextions are clearly high. As someone who's owned two previous pair of Razer Blacksharks, I can truly say the V3 Pro is a stepup. For me, there are three major things I look at when it comes to gaming headsets...sound (obviously) comfortability (sound don't matter if they give you a headache) and battery life (if they die quick, you can't use them) To start, the sound on these are great. The sound is crisp, the directional audio is awesome...no creeping up on me on Apex. A new addition to this model however is ANC. Now, I've never had a huge need for ANC with these because the design does a good job of blocking out audio...but adding ANC just seals the deal. I've tried a lot of different gaming headsets and these hang with all of them. These are my official Xbox headset now. When it comes to comfortability....I've worn these for hours with no issues. Sometimes with headphones the earmuffs can get sweaty...sometimes the headset squeezes on your head....not these. The combination of the feel of these as well as the ANC...gaming sessions with these you can truly be immersed in the experience. Now, battery life....great as well! Out the box I turned these on no charge and got some real use out of them. While I don't have a definitive hour count I can say multiple ultra long gaming sessions and charging isn't an issue. Outside of the three major factors, I'd also factor in build quality, which, another victory for the BlackShark V3. While they're a gaming headset, Razer was playing around with the quality of the materials used. This probably is what leads to the overall comfortability of the set...but you're definitely getting what you pay for with these. The Razer BlackShark V3 Pros are a definitive set of gaming headphones. You get these, you don't have to get another headset.id strongly recommend these to anyone looking for a Pro level gaming headset.

The BlackShark V3 Pro Xbox Edition is a great headset with strong build quality and excellent sound for gaming. The microphone is very good, but you need to update the headset to get the best mic quality. Without the update, the mic does not work as well. The Xbox app is not required, but it is a helpful tool that lets you change the sound and mic settings directly on your Xbox instead of using a computer or phone. The headset has several buttons and sliders, a power button to turn it on, a button above that to mute the mic, and a volume knob on the left side. On the right side, there is another slider that you can set to control how much of your own voice you hear or to make footsteps louder, which is useful in some games but can make other sounds like gunshots too loud. There are two more buttons on top: one changes the sound profile, and if you press it twice, it switches between Bluetooth and wireless mode. A nice feature is that you can connect to Bluetooth and wireless at the same time, so you can listen to both devices. The bottom button lets you switch between noise cancelling, ambient sound, or turning these features off. The headset feels sturdy and comfortable, but it can get hot after a few hours, especially if your room is warm. You can use the headset with Bluetooth, wireless USB, or a wired connection with an aux cable, which is handy if the battery runs out. The headset has magnetic side plates you can remove to get to the battery. You just unscrew the lid to replace the battery or use a bigger one, which makes it easy to fix. The sound quality is great for gaming because you can clearly hear things like other players' footsteps. Overall, I highly recommend this headset because of its many features and how well it works with the app.

    Huge improvement over BlackShark V2

The Razer BlackShark V3 Pro is a remarkable upgrade over any other headset I’ve owned, especially compared to my previous V2 generation that I still own and use. As expected by Razer, the packaging was well-designed and protective. My first impression was that the headset was extremely lightweight and sturdy. Setup was effortless after plugging the Hyperspeed V2 dongle into my Xbox Series X USB A port and powering and putting the headset on, it felt so light I almost forgot it was there. That comfort factor is crucial for me, especially during weekends, my gaming sessions can continue to six hours. I also appreciate the new swiveling earcups, which, though subtle, make the fit more comfortable as the hinges adjust naturally to my head. The detachable mic is still here, and the mic has been improved and my friends who I was playing with told me that my voice sounded crystal clear and natural, even on default settings. The headset is fully customizable via the Razer Audio app on smartphones or Synapse software on PC. The volume knob now has a texture for better grip, which is a small but welcome detail. The must-have features I always look for before investing in a new headset and that the BlackShark V3 Pro delivers are: 1. Comfort & connectivity freedom – Supports 2.4 GHz via dongle, Bluetooth, and 3.5 mm audio cable, with the ability to keep Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz active simultaneously. Switching is as simple as pressing one button. 2. USB-C charging – No more proprietary cables. 3. Onboard controls – Easy access to volume, a configurable wheel for game/chat balance or mic monitoring, and fine-tuned audio for footsteps and surroundings. 4. Active Noise Cancelling modes – Easily cycled through on the fly. 5. Value for money – The feature set and performance easily justify the price, especially compared to other headsets in this segment. After nearly a week of use, I’m impressed. The sound is incredibly clear and immersive, with spatial audio that genuinely feels real. The mic delivers natural voice clarity, the charging speed is excellent, and the earcups remain comfortable and breathable even in California’s 104°F heat, I could wear them for hours without sweating. The earcup covers are swappable for different designs, though I like the current blacked-out look with the subtle Razer logo. Connectivity has been flawless powering it on connects instantly to my Xbox, validating Razer’s Hyperspeed V2 claims. Overall, this is my favorite headset to date, the best in its class, and worth every penny.

I’ve used and reviewed many gaming headsets over the years, but this one really takes things up a notch. The Razer BlackShark V3 Pro is exceptionally well-crafted with premium build quality. This particular model is designed for Xbox and is easy to spot thanks to the green neon stitching on the headband and green accents, it looks fantastic. They’re lightweight on the head, the headband padding is soft and comfortable, and the ear cushions are plush and cozy. They can feel slightly warm at first, but once your ears adjust, they’re great. The earcups swivel about 15 degrees, so they won’t lay completely flat. On the left earcup, you’ll find the volume knob, power button, and mute button. The volume knob feels premium and is very responsive. On the right earcup, you get the pairing button, ANC button, and a configurable rocker. The detachable microphone is easy to adjust with minimal effort, and each earcup has a detachable outer cap that can be customized. The headset supports 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, and wired 3.5mm connections via the included USB-C to 3.5mm adapter. While it’s designed for Xbox, it also works with PCs. Setting it up is straightforward, just plug the included wireless receiver into your Xbox and you’re good to go. Make sure the receiver is switched to the Xbox position. However, because of a recent firmware update, the initial setup might be slightly different than usual. Since the Xbox can’t install third-party software outside of the Microsoft Store, you’ll first need to connect the headset to a PC to update the firmware. I recommend visiting Razer’s driver support page for this specific headset, downloading the installer, and the latest firmware, that’s the quickest and easiest method I found. Once that’s done, you can start enjoying the headset. To unlock its full potential on Xbox, you’ll need to download and install the Razer Audio app, which also works on Windows and mobile devices. On PC, however, Razer Synapse is the better choice, as it consolidates all your Razer peripherals into one convenient software, but it will not update your headset firmware. My experience with these has been fantastic, easily one of the best headsets I’ve ever used. I also owned the Kraken V4, and these completely outshine them. The sound quality is phenomenal, offering crisp clarity and a well-balanced. The bass is deep, punchy, and immersive and with the ANC on it sounds even better. The protruding volume rocker is a huge plus, it’s easy to find and has great grip. I play a lot of COD, and for the first time, I was actually able to hear footsteps clearly throughout the game. While many headsets claim to offer that feature, I never really noticed it until now, it’s impressively accurate and distinct. The microphone is also top-notch, capturing my voice with clarity. In fact, when using it during a call, my friend couldn’t tell I was on a headset until I mentioned it. These headphones are THX certified, you can activate the spatial sound option through Synapse. Battery life is rated at 70 hours, and after several days of moderate Xbox and PC use, it still showed 70% remaining. While this headset doesn’t feature lighting effects, it truly excels at everything else it offers. Overall, this is by far one of the best headsets I’ve owned. It’s premium in every sense, build quality, comfort, sound performance, and microphone clarity. As a gamer, this is the kind of headset you’ll truly appreciate. In the box you get the Blackshark headset, USB-A to USB-C cable, 3.5mm to USB-C, 2.4ghz wireless receiver, microphone and manual.

When it comes to gaming, the headset might just be the most important piece of equipment after your controller. I’ve gamed using speakers, but I just find that the isolation and clarity you get from a good headset can’t be beat. This is why I was excited to try out the BlackShark V3 Pro headset from Razer. When I first put on the headset, I was impressed with how comfortable it felt overall. The ear cushions are soft, but they don’t squish up after long-term use. The controls are easy to reach, buy I felt that I had a learning curve when it came to the actually controls the buttons complete. I thought it was odd that the audio presets were controlled by the same button that swapped wireless modes. I didn’t experience any headaches, even after hours of use, which was a relief. That said, my ears did get a bit warm after a while, but it was manageable. I also noticed a strong chemical or neoprene smell right out of the box, which took some time to fade, but it didn’t affect my enjoyment of the headset once it aired out a bit. The headset is solid and fantastic for gaming, especially on Xbox with Windows Sonic support. It provides a truly immersive experience. I tested it on an Xbox One while playing COD, and the spatial audio made a noticeable difference. I also used it with my iPad and MacBook Pro for daily tasks and entertainment. The audio quality was above average, and the presets helped enhance the listening experience, making music and videos sound richer. The active noise cancellation (ANC) impressed me. I couldn’t even hear myself typing on a keyboard, and the ambient ANC option worked well too. While it wasn’t quite as good as other transparency modes I’ve experienced, it was still effective. I’m guessing that the natural sound isolation the over-ear headphone design provides is what causes the transparency mode to be not as clear. The microphone is excellent. I really appreciate the large boom mic, which can be detached when not gaming. It does a great job of canceling ambient noise, and people on the other end of my games commented that I sounded very clear. I tried to use these headphones with as many systems as possible, but found that when it came to my Apple devices, there was a little connection confusion. I was able to use the 2.4GHz Hyperspeed Dongle with my MacBook Pro (via a dock), but my computer didn’t automatically select it as an input or output sound device. I had to manually select it in the System Preferences. Connecting through Bluetooth was easy enough, except that I had to hunt for the instructions on how to put the headset into pairing mode. Other gaming headsets I’ve used have a dedicated Bluetooth button, but this one is shared with the audio presets. Overall, I do enjoy the BlackShark V3 Pro. I did find some quirks about them, but they are fantastic for gaming, especially on the Xbox systems.

The Razer Blackshark V3 Pro gaming headset by Razer is a very good set of headphones. To start with they are very sharp looking all black headphones with some bright green stitching on the headband. Next when you pick them up to put them on you can tell they are solid with some weight to them and they feel very robust. Then once you connect them using the unique dongle with a female USB-C connection that allows for optimal placement you get to find out how good they perform. The Razer Blackshark V3 Pro gaming headset is the best sounding gaming headset I have had the pleasure of using. These headphones have a beautiful sound signature with nice deep Bass great mids and sharp highs. They are very well rounded in the sound department picking up seemingly every detail in games really drawing you into the game and increasing the realism. I have a lot of gaming headsets from Razer and other brands and the Blackshark V3 are a level above the others I have. This headset also has Bluetooth and come with a nice long USB-C to 3.5mm audio jack for using them as wired headphones whether you hook them straight into your computer or to a sound mixer the have really good sound quality. They also handle high volumes really well without distorting. Another feature that really stood out to me was the implementation of noise canceling. The ANC on the Blackshark V3’s is very good. I have some other high end Bluetooth headphones and these are on par or slightly better than those. You can connect to the dongle and have them connected to your phone at the same time so you do not have to miss any calls. If you are looking for a serious gaming headset that you can use to listen to music make calls and everything else headphones do. These are a great choice in this price range!

I was excited to receive and use the newest BlackShark version that was recently released by Razer. The first thing that impressed me when I got it was the packaging. When you open it the headset itself and the dongle it barely connects to stare you right in the face. I charged the headset as the manual instructed and when it was ready to go I turned it on and plugged the dongle to my Xbox. Unfortunately, the headset would not connect to my console. I downloaded the app on my phone and had no problem connecting to that. After contacting customer service to try to troubleshoot the problem it was determined ultimately that I had defective hardware. Once I replaced the defective headset with a new one then everything worked fine and connecting to the console was easy. The headset itself is very comfortable and the added noise cancellation works well. Sound quality is very clear. I appreciate the volume knob and that you can increase or decrease volume in small increments to wear one accidental big turn is not going to blast your ears out. The flexible mic is nice to adjust for players that are either too loud or too soft in their speaking volume. Another feature I appreciate is how long the USB cable is to connect the dongle to the console which gives the user more flexibility with placement. An app is also available to download which gives you further customization options for the headset and is user friendly. I tested the headset in party chat and other members remarked on the clarity of my voice. Overall, this headset is nice and I can understand why professionals use it and rely on this brand.

I think these are a little less comfortable than the V2 Pros, but they're still comfortable and they sound great. I like the addition of ANC and the USB-C to 3.5mm cable. The battery life will vary depending on which features you're using, but it will still last a good amount of time on a full charge. It might not be worth it to upgrade from the V2 Pros, especially if you don't care about the new features, but it's still a great headset nonetheless. It's a worthy purchase if you're looking for a new headset, or need one that is compatible with Xbox like I did.

Pros: I work from home and on the phone for the majority of any given work day. I was looking for something that had simultaneous connection between bluetooth and wireless - this headset is almost perfect (I'll explain why "almost" below). While I use the headset a lot for work and talking, I also enjoy gaming after work and on the weekends. The audio for gaming has been excellent. I've used this set with my PC and Switch. It connects very quickly and I haven't noticed any delays. When the headset was originally released there were quite a few comments about the mic having issues. However, Razer pushed an update within a very short time and that was resolvd. I have asked individuals I'm talking to throughout the day about the quality of the mic, and I continue to be told that it is crystal clear. Cons: As referenced above with simultaneous connectivity - When I have the headset attached to bluetooth on my phone for talking, I am unable to switch the headset from bluetooth over to wireless/simultaneous. It's only when I'm using the voip at work though. If I'm just using it on my phone, it works fine. That's probably a work issue, not a Razer problem, but it's annoying if I'm trying to switch over to music/game. The only other con I have is that my ears tend to get a little warm. I typically use wicked cushion freezing gel earcups - once those are released, I'm hoping the warm issue is resolved. Overall - Great headset! A little. more expensive than what I was wanting to pay, however the quality of the headset justifies the price in my opinion.

I upgraded to this from the Blackshark V2, and on the surface, there's not much difference between the two models. They are both comfortable and sound great. I have an Xbox console right next to my computer, so for me, the biggest benefit is being able to swap the dongle (yes, there's a dongle) between my laptop and console. All I have to do is toggle the switch on the dongle, and I'm ready to use the headset on either device. Is this convenience worth $250? If you like the idea of having one single headset that work on both an Xbox and a laptop, then yes.

Now i know why the Pros use these. They have a great audio sound you can tell witch side you are being attached from. You can hear every bullet that comes by you all the foot steps around you. All the things you need to be a good gamer. These have a great ear cup for your ears no matter what size ears you have you have a lot of room yes they do get a little hot. I head strap cushion is very soft and comfortable and does not sit to heavy on your head. The connection to my XBOX very easy just plug i the USB connector and power on the headset. The unit does have noise cancellation and you can turn that off and on. Also has surround sound witch gives you that extra feeling of being in the game. The volume button stick out of the side that makes it easy to find and adjust, They do have a game chat balance knob on the other side of the headset but i didn't find that to work i kept trying to adjust the chat but it stayed the same. I did hear that the mic wasn't that great a little deep and they said it didn't sound like me. There voices came in just fine but they were a little low that were the chat balance needs to work but it wasn't. Overall a great headset just the 1 down side of it the chat volume not working that great.

Awesome headset. I tried this and the Blackshark V3 (against the Barracuda X 2022). The EQ actually does things and the speaker improvements are real - as you adjust the settings, your experience will change noticeably. I thought the ANC and the slightly better ear cushions were worth the $100 premium over the V3. The main advantage to the V3 is that it's lighter (but otherwise identical in performance)
