Game changer. It’s a dedicated digital notebook and that’s it. I tried for many years to get into writing on my iPad with an Apple Pencil but it never felt right and I always reverted to my pen and paper. Now I’ve ditched both the clunky iPad and the notebook. My bag is infinitely lighter and the note organization is 1000x better.

While this does perform exactly as described, I'm not thrilled about the automatic syncing to cloud-- with no way to turn this off other than completely disconnecting your account, and losing the ability to convert handwriting to text. The line tool is cumbersome and kicks in more often when you don't want it than when you do, and there are no tools for creating geometric shapes. The file sorting system is somewhat lacking and gets cumbersome when there is a lot of information stored on the device, and folders are locked in alphabetical order. For something advertised as being versatile as paper, it often feels like there's a lot of rigidity to the product.

Overall the Remarkable 2 is a very useful and handy tool. I attend a LOT of meetings for different clients and this allows me to keep all notes in one location instead of having different notebooks for each. A couple things aren't 100% intuitive so you have to dig in and figure them out. But once you do, if you have lots of notes to take like I do, I think you'll like it too.

Great product had a little trouble when writing my palm would change settings or move the page. Another issue small issue is it took a bit to figure out how to get it to download automatically to desktop system. Another issue is the conversion tool doesn't work well at all, if anything is off handwritten it cant pick it up and turns into unreadable notes. and using spaces or any other Cost is expensive but overall great idea and useful and practical product good note for security of notes has a password function.

The overall hardware product is pretty well made and ergonomic though I would not buy without the folio. I personally prefer the fabric to the leather which my mother uses. The software is pretty decent though could be improved and is frequently updated.the pen bibs require replacing about once every 1-2 weeks for me but aren’t to bad in price.
