Q: Can I download a construction plan pdf file and zoom in
A: First of all, just know I’m not familiar with what a construction file consists of. Second, I tested a pdf file I have that is a book. And it has some drawings in it. Yes, I can zoom. But it is not a great experience. It’s clunky. It’s … delayed. The best way I know to describe Remarkable is that it is a digital notebook. It was designed to replace real like notebooks or planners or whatever. I now have all digital notebooks and my 20 something notebooks I had with project or book notes or whatever - I got rid of - all of my notebooks are in one place and I get to write in these notebooks and the experience is pretty close to writing in real paper notebooks. So many people want this tablet to do other things that other tablets do … but it just doesn’t. It doesn’t have the processing power. It wasn’t designed to. There are other tablets for those things. The only drawback is it is all grayscale - I can’t mark or highlight in color and since it was designed to replace notebooks - it is something I would have expected.
