My daughter is 11 and hates taking notes. She has a hard time keeping track of everything and so when a test comes up she has no idea where her notes went. This tablet has completely changed the game for her! Now she loves taking notes and she is learning how to stay so organized. She can easily find the notes she is looking for and she loves how easy it is to write and sketch in it. Best purchase we have made for her for school.

This is the perfect tablet for notetaking! Easy to convert handwriting to typed cloud documents. Note this is the b&w version. Simplicity, portability, and battery life are the biggest advantages. I am not in love with the magnetic stylus, as it is easily dislodged from the edge of the device. Otherwise, I'm perfectly satisfied.

I love being able to hand write notes because it helps me retain the information. The problem has always been locating those notes. BUT NOW with the reMarkable 2 it’s the best of both worlds because I can organize my notes multiple different ways. I can import PDFs and write on them. I can send any of my notes via email PDF or pull it off of the reMarkable website if you have an account. The next part that’s great is you can hand write all your notes and then with the tap of the pen turn them into text. The best part is, it’s super slim and fits at any of my purses.

A co worker told me about this product. Was getting tired of writing and filling up all these notepads. So, I decided to go ahead and purchase. At first I was hesitant because of the price but I am so glad I got. I use it everyday, writes smoothly like writing in a notepad. You could create files for specific meetings. Great tool for meetings when writing anything down, especially the check list and different options it gives on the kind of paper pad you want.

I absolutely LOVE my Remarkable 2 notebook! I was supposed to get it for Christmas but I couldn’t wait that long (I was attending a conference right after Thanksgiving and wanted to use it then, at least that was my justification for not waiting). I’ve had it for just over a month now, and I use it every day. I created a planner template in Google Slides then uploaded it into my R2 as a PDF, and it’s amazing! I also have a teaching lesson plan template that I uploaded that’s helping me FINALLY organize all my lesson plans and unit plans in one place (that I can edit and reorganize). I included screenshots of what my planner (with names blacked out) and lesson plan pages look like after I’ve written on them when uploaded to my phone/google drive. I teach high school math, so being able to actually write problems and math equations/notation is super helpful and a huge time saver. You can change pen types (I prefer the calligraphy pen, generally) and different colors, though the different colors only show up in the app, not on the R2 itself (except gray). I cannot recommend it enough!

ReMarkable is one of the best brands when it comes to needing an electronic note pad. Battery last forever the cloud is great. It sucks. You have to have a subscription but highly recommend.

When I ordered this product, I wasn’t entirely sure if it was the first Gen or the new one. While waiting for it to be shipped I discovered Best Buy was only carrying the second generation ones. That made me super happy! I’ve wanted a Remarkable tablet for two years and was so glad to finally be able to get one when they became available at Best But and I got a package deal - which was even better. The only less than perfect experiences was it just took too long for Best Buy to actually ship - it was a little ridiculous. The other thing is the cover I got with it - is hard to clean. Mine now has a spot on it from who knows what and I can’t get it out. But the tablet itself is a wonderful experience. My only gripe with it is there is no sync with google drive - you have access to the drive - but you have to download the document and then re-upload it - I really hate this part of the experience. I don’t need the other sync subscription they require because I only use Google Drive - the last thing I need is one more cloud to use. But as far as everything else I specifically got the tablet for - so I could stop going through notebooks and more notebooks and lose which one had which notes - I now have them all in the same place. There’s a bit of a learning curve on now to do a few things like adding new pages to a notebook or how to delete a notebook and it’s a bit clumsy as far as navigation goes - it doesn’t entirely make sense. But once you learn it - it’s fine. Yes, I would purchase again - I would look for a bundle with a better portfolio cover though.

This thing has literally saved me. No more extra papers thrown around. No more unorganized notes. Easy to transer from the laptop to the remarkable. Reading my books is nice. Its just a 10 out of 10 hands down. I did opt to get a new case from amazon just because it looks cool.

This is by far the best Christmas gift I ever bought my Boyfriend. He is obsessed! He uses it for work. He’s a trainer so he writes all his workouts and prepares for all his training classes with it. He is always ready with his remarkable.!

I love this! It is perfect for my work, school, and personal use. It is so much easier than a notebook. Occupies the kids, and I can take notes on my PDFs and PowerPoints.

I love using the reMarkable 2 even more than I thought I would! I work and learn best when handwriting notes. This tool has been ideal for me to be able to sort my work into separate files and notebooks all in one space. I no longer carry around multiple notebooks for different purposes. The writing surface does not feel like writing on a tablet and having an eraser on the Marker Plus is so useful. I highly recommend this if you are a handwriting, paper, notebook lover like I am!
