Excellent. The only thing I can think of to add, would be if they can add being able to rotate text after highlighting, vs just being able to move up, down, left, right.

This is actually life changing. No bits of paper with scribbled notes on my desk anymore! Worth the money and highly recommend.

Could not activate the free year of Connect because my device shipped from PowerPlay retail, Remarkable's North American Distributor. This was not until at least 5 emails back and forth with support, which no doubt cost more than $30 subscription. Glad that was the hill worth dying on. OCR works ok, but creates a new page with the text so then it has to be copied and pasted back to the original page with the rest of my notes after erasing the hand writing. There is not backlight on it making it almost impossible to use in dim lit rooms. It supports epub books, but not highlighting passages and adding notes. The folio that comes with it is bulky for a left handed person so I ended up getting a different one. Overall, for the price, just buy a cheap iPad, off-brand stylus and note taking app and you'll be further ahead and have spent less money or a Kindle Scribe.

I bought this tablet from Best Buy in 2024 for online tutoring projecting the desktop app on Zoom. The connectivity between the tablet and desktop app keeps dropping every 5 mins. I have entered numerous support requests and called custover service but received zero technical support. This is a $550 mistake sitting discharged on my desk for months. My advise is to stick to competing products from larger companies like Apple and Amazon. Stay away!!!

DO NOT BUY A REMARKABLE 2 UNTIL THEY FIX THE BUG THEY JUST INTRODUCED IN THE MOST RECENT SOFTWARE UPDATE! The device will freeze and go into a reboot loop if you try to access a notebook that has more than 100 pages in it. After being a loyal user for years, they have rendered the product useless because all of my notebooks are larger than that :(. And, their customer service has no idea when they will have a fix :(. If management is reading this, PLEASE make this the most important thing you are working on -- you are currently holding the content of long-time customers hostage -- much longer and you may have permanently lost the trust of the customer base. At least communicate with us proactively to provide updates -- the silent treatment and assuming people are not experiencing pain does not win fans.

It feels like I'm writing on a piece of paper. Like the portability and how ask my notes are in one place.

This has changed my life! Let’s get one thing straight, if you’re going to buy this and complain that it’s not an iPad, don’t buy it. I’m an artist and designer who primarily uses Moleskin sketchbook and notebooks. This has entirely replaced those, and I love how closely it similates paper. It’s basically a sketchbook with unlimited pages. My only complaint is with the app… Remarkable needs to improve the export quality.

BestBuy doesn’t make it easy to send feedback so, unfortunately, I have to leave this here. Spent almost 2 hours this am trying to purchase the Remarkable 2. I hadn’t used my BestBuy card in a while and it wasn’t being accepted as payment. Customer Service rep made the experience worse by telling me over and over again that my card should work. It was awful. Ending up canceling my card and tonight, used another card to make the purchase. Even with the nightmare experience, I am very excited to be getting my Remarkable 2. I have never had an issue with BestBuy products but the customer service experience was maddening.

Best Buy promised to deliver this next day and then claimed that the carrier lost the package. Total bait and switch. Wishing that I had it tonight like yhey promised.
