It an ok game not the best of the RE games but good

Its one of the bad RE games where it stops having cool characters and horror in it and starts being just a shooting game with boring monsters pulled out of a "how to design generic monsters" book.

This game is very frustrating and is very long and boring in most spots. There are some major issues with the controls. I would reccomend RE5 or RE4 over this one

This game is not good at all. I didn't like it for the PS3, and I still don't like it. The only reason I bought it is because I'm a collector.

Overall a pretty bad game. Got it for $15 so I can't complain too much. Mercenaries mode is very fun playing with a friend.

It's the worst Resident Evil in a while. If you have a friend, it's bearable but it is such missed potential.

The graphics look better but still aren't the best but that's not my issue with this game. I feel the controls aren't well utilized and the story isn't captivating enough to keep me wanting to play it through. The extras and price point makes you want to pick it up especially if you said no to the last gen version but I just don't see myself playing it through. Leon's campaign is probably the best out of all the others because it sticks to the horror part for the most part. The leveling system is not good to me at all. I didn't like re5 but I did like the leveling of guns and in this game leveling seems to be lacking. I would say if you haven't played the last gen then pick this one up if you want a cheap game to play and want to add to the re series of games you've played and completed. The extras and price point makes it worth it especially with best buy rewards with the 20% off. Otherwise pass and never look back if you think you will get the best RE game ever because this game is definitely not it.

Why do they keep making these games when this one didn't sell well.

This game was incredibly boring and the multiplayer feature was disappointing. You’re better off getting any other PS4 game!!

All the Resident Evil games initially have me to scared to play them. But I will update my review once I start to play it.

Resident Evil 6 makes it debut on the Playstation 4 and, while it's not a new title, the game itself is a must-have for any Resident Evil fan. Yes, it's true that critics upon its initial release didn’t receive the game warmly yet it was, nevertheless, a hit amongst fans and, really, who would you rather listen to? Combining elements from both Resident Evil 4 and 5 into a great amalgam of different characters and playing styles, Resident Evil 6 really gives the player a diverse experience that is as rewarding as it is challenging. For those uninitiated with the title at all, Resident Evil 6 plays similarly to Resident Evil 4 and 5 while, thematically, it ties together a lot of loose ends from the aforementioned games. In other words, you can expect a mixture of horror and action gameplay with a strong emphasis on atmosphere as a whole. A split-screen couch co-op mode is available that is a blast to play with a friend or loved one although the single player mode is just as engaging so, either way, you'll be having a good time. This particular edition of the game has been given the HD treatment and it shows - the graphics are excellent considering they are from a generation ago and the frame-rate increase is flawless. Overall, Resident Evil 6 is a great conclusion to the series thus far (as we're all waiting with bated breath for Resident Evil 7, no doubt) that will satisfy the expectations of anyone who enjoyed Resident Evil 4 and/or 5. A highly recommended addition to any horror connoisseur’s collection!

This series really isn't sticking with its roots and thats a bad thing.

Don't know why people have so much hate towards this game. There's nothing wrong with making this an action game. Based on the scale of the story they had no choice. Each RE game got progressively larger in scale, you can't make it a survival covert horror game when the story is such a large scale in RE6. Just because they made RE6 an action game, doesn't mean the RE series is changed forever, it's just changed for this game. RE5 was also very action-oriented but it didn't get nowhere near as much hate as RE6. RE6 is a great action game in its own right. This remaster is excellent in terms of frame rate, resolution and graphics. The gameplay remains as great as the original. There's also new modes like an amped up Mercenaries No Mercy mode. I recommend this game to anyone especially at this price, can't complain. I'm expecting this to be the same if not better for the RE5 and RE4 remasters.

This game is not the best in the series, it is in fact one of the weakest, BUT for $20, you get the game, ALL of its DLC, and the game can be loads of fun if playing CO-OP. If you didnt play this, at this price you cant really go wrong! Its worth collecting all main RE games. 0,1, (2 is being developed), (Hoping 3 is announced @ E3), 4 is this Fall, 5 is this summer and 6 is right now...on PS4! cant ask for more. well maybe Dino Crisis Remasters...but thats real long shot.

You can't beat the selling price for the amount of game you get. (Was $20 when I purchased). The game isn't some grand epic, but it is something fun that you (or preferably you and a friend) can play through. This PS4 adds the 1080p resolution with a smooth 60 frames per second gameplay. The game also comes with all of the DLC you would have had to purchase separately in the last gen version. If you skipped this when it originally came out and are looking for a fun co op game, this is a solid package for the asking price.
