Great game Resident evil doesn’t miss must have !!!

Big fan of Resident Evil and 8 is pretty good. Just beaten 7 while ago and playing RE Village right after has been great. Good story, characters, nice variety of enemies and each area is nice. You don’t have to play RE 7 before 8, but I’d recommend giving that game play it’s awesome and village takes place after 7.

I got this game for a friend as a birthday gift and he loved it! I, too, got it for myself, and it's one of my favorite Resident Evil games. I'd say it's comparable to Resident Evil 4 and of course Resident Evil 7. This one is more suspenseful than scary but the horror is still there. Definitely recommend!

Awesome game, my kids will have nightmares, can't wait to scare the crap out of them.

Hi. I was not sure if I was going to enjoy playing this particular game Village. For me playing it on casual mode allowed me to almost never get frustrated fighting formidable baddies. But I found it easy. Also the story line is different from previous where there are no zombie swarm attacks.

Not quite as good at RE VII but still a very enjoyable experience

The resident evil series was always my favorite series since PS1 so when my son got a new system i got his ps4 and the first thing i did was buyball of the resident evil games i could for it. Im just now starting with resident evil 0/1 so will be a while before i get into this one.

Resident Evil does it again with this great continuation of the series. While not as scary as Resident Evil 7, it is still simply an amazing game and story line to play! I have played through 3 times now and am looking forward to a 4th play through trying to get all the achievements!

The game is great based on what I played prior to purchase(demo), as well as having played RE7 on PC, but the price for RE8(PS4) on bestbuy was too good, so I chose it over getting RE8 on PC this time, bonus insentive being It came with a free steelbook, very cool.

A well-needed refreshing take on the series that takes everything great about RE7 and pulls the reigns back in with a great gothic horror vibe. Really thought castle Dimitrescu was going to be the only bit of the game but it's actually quite a long experience - but never gets old.

Fantastic title, RE franchise is hit or miss but this one holds a special place in my heart and can be considered a true AAA title.

Wasn't interested getting the game since I couldn't get into the RE series growing up but this new entry of the series is winning me over. Tense, action-packed, and a blast! Recommend playing and one of the best games I've played in the series.

Storyline was mediocre, short game. Graphics and play environments were decent.
