Short but great game never dull enjoyed the game very much even the dlc

The game has a good pace and there's a lot of action. The environment has a great layout and it's easy to navigate throughout the village. Make sure to play through completion for the final stage and to unlock extra content. I didn't play RE7 so I can't make any comparison. However, I ranked the following PS4 RE titles in order that I completed: 1) RE4 HD 2)RE2 Remake 3)RE8 4)RE3 Remake

I really miss the old style but have to say the new gameplay is effective. Can't wait fir the next one.

Great atmosphere that doesn’t overly grip your with fear. Allows you to stay on your toes but still have a great time.

I really loved this. I liked RE7 a lot and this, to me, is a good mix of RE7 with bits of RE4ish vibe. The griddy atmosphere was done really well and I'm glad RE8 is like the way it is. Closest to this RE is 7 and not action packed 4-5-6

A must have for any resident evil fan or just a fan of horror. If you haven't played 7 do so before playing this.

This game did not disappoint. It was very fun to play. A lot shorter than the other's, but still enjoyed the game.

While this gets frustrating at points, it is overall a great game. Lots of detail and action.

If you loved RE7 then this is the game for you. It looks exactly the same for the most part, but the game layout is much better and interesting. I loved how the super super morbidly obese merchant just pops up wherever you go and you can buy all your upgrades and nick nacks as needed. Kids love this game too. Gives them nightmares, but I keep the bedroom door locked so no middle of the night interruptions.

A survival horror game for the decade. Beautiful and macabre. Superb entry in the RE franchise.
