Disappointed!

A lot of it from what I remember was cutscenes over gameplay. I did not dig the overall story, and most of the visuals were just gross rather than "scary". The puzzle solving gameplay elements are still here, which is nice. The fan favorite Mercenaries mode returns, adding a few more hours of play time. Pros and cons weighed, I'm gonna have to wait for the DLC to go on sale.

It continues the story froma previous resident evil game but you do not need to play that in order to understand and enjoy this game.

Great new chapter to RE!

Unlike other RE games, this one has more options to explore. While still linear in nature, you can re-visit places some places to search for items and explore the scenery. It has an "open world" feel to it which I enjoyed. And the free PS5 upgrade makes the visuals even better.
