I’m so excited about this dash camera! It has all the features that I love and just enhanced my car. My car was very basic but now it looks way more expensive with the touchscreen. I also love the peace of mind of having a dash camera and a backup camera! If you want to upgrade your car without spending a ton of money, this is definitely the way to go!!!!!

Screen is very good and vivid. I really appreciate the screen size as this doubles as both dashcam and media player. Fantastic that this features wireless android auto and apple car play. The hardwire kit allows for surveillance mode and in my two weeks of using I haven't experienced any issues with battery draining on a car I've owned for 2 years.

This product couldn't have come at a better time for me. The touchscreen on my 2017 VW Jetta has been going bad for a couple of years. I've looked into replacing it and it's just a real headache. By incorporating CarPlay into this unit, I not only have really excellent dash cams, but I've regained CarPlay in my car. Better still, my CarPlay connection is now wireless instead of needing to plug it in like I used to! Boom! Just get in the car and go. It really is a beautiful thing.

This isn't my first Rexing dashcam and I don't expect it to be the last; this company does a great job of innovating on the dashcam scene and adding new features with each iteration. I got this for my 2010 Mazda3, of which the most impressive tech feature was bluetooth. This acted as a solid upgrade to the car, essentially giving me all of the benefits of apple carplay / android auto while also adding a useful and effective camera monitoring system. First thing to note, this is BIG but not cumbersome. The 9" screen allows you to follow the maps without being distracted and the camera being on top gives it great dashcam visibility despite being lower on the dash. I was concerned about night vision but discovered happily that the image quality is crisp. Running the wires to the back of the car is simple; I ended up going under the plastic weather stripping and it's effectively invisible. This gives me a rear backup camera and additional monitoring capability. I strongly recommend you wire it into the backup light (as recommended by Rexing) so that you can also get the automatic backup camera as soon as you shift into reverse. And you get all of this at a reasonable price ($200 at time of review) which frankly is a really good deal for what is effectively a technology upgrade for my car. No negative feedback on this product, highly recommend!

I am satisfied with this dash cam. It performs well as both a dash cam and for CarPlay. The video quality is excellent. My only suggestion would be for the seller to provide a detailed video guide for installing the hardware kit, which would make setup easier. Overall, this is a reliable and well-designed device, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

I picked up the Rexing 4K + 1080p dash cam mainly to modernize my 11 year older car that didn’t have CarPlay or Android Auto, and it’s honestly been a big upgrade. The first thing you notice is the screen – it’s huge. In a good way, it makes navigation and music controls super easy to see, and using CarPlay/Android Auto feels very similar to having a built-in factory unit. Video quality has been excellent so far. The front 4K footage is sharp enough to clearly read license plates, and the rear camera does a solid job for both driving and backing up. Once I got everything configured, the connectivity has been pretty reliable. My phone hooks up quickly for CarPlay, and having GPS plus the option to pull clips over Wi-Fi instead of digging out the SD card is really convenient. That said, there are a few trade-offs. The big screen can take up more windshield real estate than I’d like, so placement matters. Mounting and wiring are also not “plug-and-play” if you want a clean install – routing the cables and getting the mount just right took some time. The instructions around the different connection modes (Wi-Fi vs. CarPlay/Android Auto, multiple phones, etc.) could also be clearer; there was a bit of trial and error in the beginning. Overall, though, I’m happy with it. If you’ve got an older car and want both a quality dash cam and modern phone integration without replacing the whole head unit, this Rexing is a strong option.

I recently upgraded to the Rexing CPduo-9 dash cam, and it’s a game-changer for my daily driving. This camera combines excellent quality video recording with the latest connectivity features like CarPlay, Android Auto, WiFi, and GPS. This makes it much more than just a dash cam, but an instant simple audio system upgrade too! What I Love • Video Quality: Both the front and rear cameras deliver really crisp footage, especially in 4K mode. The nighttime and low light performance are solid, and license plates are clearly visible. • HUGE Touchscreen: The display is bright and responsive, great for navigation and media control via CarPlay. It’s a huge upgrade from older dash cams. The size is a bit imposing, but as a ‘mature woman’ my eyes appreciate how easy it is to see everything. • Parking Mode: With hardwiring, the dash cam stays on to monitor your vehicle when parked and unattended. This adds peace of mind for anytime you feel your car is vulnerable. There would be a recording to show what happened when you were not there. Things to Consider • Mounting: The screen is very large, like mini ipad size, which can slightly obstruct the windshield view depending on placement. This wasn’t the best choice for my small sedan, but worked much better in my husbands large pick-up truck with more windshield to ‘lose’. Overall, the CPduo-9 is a feature packed, modern dash cam ideal for anyone looking to upgrade their older car with smart tech and protect themselves with reliable video capture. It’s especially great for older vehicles that lack built-in CarPlay or Android Auto.

It is a good screen and backup/dash cam, however it is a little awkward and the quality isn’t the best ever, but for the money it is great especially to get CarPlay and a dash cam for cheap

I have had and currently have Rexing dash cams in all of my vehicles (4) and I love them. They have been dependable and have great features. This one especially I like as I installed in a 2004 Dodge Neon SRT4 project car, that doesn't have all those bells and whistles. The only critique I have with all Rexing cams is the wifi interface with the app. It can be sluggish but it still works. The alternative is to simply remove the memory card and transfer and videos or pics to your PC for storage.

Very happy with this product, Gps Dash Cam and Back up Cam works perfectly all in one unit. I wish the mounting bracket was more flexible. Side to side movement was fine not able to extend the unit forward,

It works as advertised, and the included 64gb micro sd is a good value add, but you can get very similar devices on amazon for a fraction that this device costs. I would recommend scheduling a geek squad installation as figuring out what fuses to supplant can be a bit tricky, due to the instructions not being detailed enough for my liking. If your car gets hot sitting out in the sun, the mount will NOT hold. The base they provide is made of silicone, a naturally nonstick material, and when things get hot the display will slowly fall forward, detatch from the ashesive pad, and fall due to its weight. Debating on returning this simply due to the cost comparison to similar devices on amazon.

I wasn’t planning on getting a dash cam with CarPlay built in but I’m really glad I went for this one. It’s not just a dash cam, it basically turns your car into a smart setup with the big screen and easy access to maps and music. It connects to my iPhone automatically every time I start the car which is super convenient. The video quality is great too, both front and rear views look really clear even when it’s raining or at night. I mounted it on the dash and windshield using the adhesive and it hasn’t moved at all. The screen is big but not bulky and it’s easy to tap around and adjust stuff. Haven’t used the GPS features much yet but I like that it’s there. One thing to note, it does get a little warm after being on for a while but no issues so far. Honestly just a nice upgrade that makes the drive feel more modern and gives you peace of mind with the recording.

This is dash cam is impressive 4k resolution with bigger 9 inch touch screen display. The dash screen also have other good features like android auto, Apple carplay, gps, wifi and many more. It comes with decent size sd card which we can be expandable. The device also included hard wiring cable and regular car charging cable to power it. We can use either one. I didn't installed the back camera as it requires good amount of time.

I recently installed this Rexing Dash Cam in my daily driver and overall I’m genuinely pleased. On the plus side, the front 4K footage is impressively sharp (I can clearly read license plates and catch details I couldn’t before), the Wi-Fi transfer to my phone is super handy for quickly checking clips, and the CarPlay/Android Auto integration adds a nice modern touch. The rear 1080p camera doesn’t deliver quite the same clarity in lower-light parking scenarios, which is expected given the difference in camera quality. The initial menu/navigation took some time to adapt to, but I quickly got used to it. The biggest benefit is the ability to bring modern screen tech to my old DD! Bottom line - if you want a strong dash cam for everyday security and don’t mind tweaking a few settings or only getting good night rear footage, this is a solid pick! Worth five stars in my book.

Really excellent product and made my old car into a smart screen without having to replace any of the body parts. The front and back dash cam is really good clarity and the CarPlay works flawlessly. Installation was breeze too everything I needed was included in the box.

I really like it but it has 3 negatives: could be a bit slow, sometimes glitches and reloading and the holder would not stick to the glue its comes with. Oh yeah- one more : app sucks. Can not connect it to the device. But i really like the screen and carplay. So overall verdict: good enough.
