Overall satisfied with this unit as it was exactly what I needed for my scenario with extra stuff. My Mustang didn’t come with CarPlay but the newer ones do. This unit was able to give my CarPlay functionality while also added other stuff like a dashcam without extra cameras or wires. I am happy with the it.

I'm extremely impressed with this Rexing dash camera. When you consider the reasonable price, it's even more impressive. In my opinion having both a front and rear camera is a huge benefit over the models that just have a front facing camera. The video quality is good, just as I've come to expect from Rexing cameras.
This model is packed full of features. You can connect your phone with wireless Android Auto or Apple Car Play. This lets you view your maps on the screen, use other compatible apps, etc. This works great for Google Maps. The screen is pretty large, so if you mount it near your windshield it can restrict visibility. I found mounting it lower on the dash worked better.
I also like that it includes the hardwire kit. This has been one of the only complaints I've had in the past with other Rexing dash cameras. I've always had to buy the hardwire kit separately. I'm glad to see that they started including both it and the lighter outlet plug with this kit. This kit also includes a memory card. Everything you need to get started and get this installed is in the package, which makes installation a breeze.
Overall, I feel like this is a feature packed unit for a fantastic price. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a dash camera.

I picked up the Rexing 4K + 1080p dash cam mainly to modernize my 11 year older car that didn’t have CarPlay or Android Auto, and it’s honestly been a big upgrade.
The first thing you notice is the screen – it’s huge. In a good way, it makes navigation and music controls super easy to see, and using CarPlay/Android Auto feels very similar to having a built-in factory unit. Video quality has been excellent so far. The front 4K footage is sharp enough to clearly read license plates, and the rear camera does a solid job for both driving and backing up.
Once I got everything configured, the connectivity has been pretty reliable. My phone hooks up quickly for CarPlay, and having GPS plus the option to pull clips over Wi-Fi instead of digging out the SD card is really convenient.
That said, there are a few trade-offs. The big screen can take up more windshield real estate than I’d like, so placement matters. Mounting and wiring are also not “plug-and-play” if you want a clean install – routing the cables and getting the mount just right took some time. The instructions around the different connection modes (Wi-Fi vs. CarPlay/Android Auto, multiple phones, etc.) could also be clearer; there was a bit of trial and error in the beginning.
Overall, though, I’m happy with it. If you’ve got an older car and want both a quality dash cam and modern phone integration without replacing the whole head unit, this Rexing is a strong option.

Screen is very good and vivid. I really appreciate the screen size as this doubles as both dashcam and media player. Fantastic that this features wireless android auto and apple car play. The hardwire kit allows for surveillance mode and in my two weeks of using I haven't experienced any issues with battery draining on a car I've owned for 2 years.

I wasn’t planning on getting a dash cam with CarPlay built in but I’m really glad I went for this one. It’s not just a dash cam, it basically turns your car into a smart setup with the big screen and easy access to maps and music. It connects to my iPhone automatically every time I start the car which is super convenient. The video quality is great too, both front and rear views look really clear even when it’s raining or at night.
I mounted it on the dash and windshield using the adhesive and it hasn’t moved at all. The screen is big but not bulky and it’s easy to tap around and adjust stuff. Haven’t used the GPS features much yet but I like that it’s there. One thing to note, it does get a little warm after being on for a while but no issues so far. Honestly just a nice upgrade that makes the drive feel more modern and gives you peace of mind with the recording.

I recently installed this Rexing Dash Cam in my daily driver and overall I’m genuinely pleased. On the plus side, the front 4K footage is impressively sharp (I can clearly read license plates and catch details I couldn’t before), the Wi-Fi transfer to my phone is super handy for quickly checking clips, and the CarPlay/Android Auto integration adds a nice modern touch. The rear 1080p camera doesn’t deliver quite the same clarity in lower-light parking scenarios, which is expected given the difference in camera quality. The initial menu/navigation took some time to adapt to, but I quickly got used to it. The biggest benefit is the ability to bring modern screen tech to my old DD!
Bottom line - if you want a strong dash cam for everyday security and don’t mind tweaking a few settings or only getting good night rear footage, this is a solid pick! Worth five stars in my book.

I’ve been really impressed with this Rexing dash cam so far. The 4K front camera and 1080p rear camera capture very clear footage, even at night, which gives me a lot more confidence on the road. The built‑in CarPlay and Android Auto support make it easy to view recordings and manage settings without dealing with extra apps. WiFi and GPS connectivity work smoothly, and the parking mode is a great bonus for monitoring the car when it’s parked. Installation took a little time, but once it was set up, everything worked reliably. Overall, it’s a strong choice if you want high‑quality video and modern connectivity features in one device.

Great Full Feature Dash Cam

I bought this dash cam so that I could add two features to my 15 year old BMW- I was interested in adding both the CarPlay feature and a Backup Camera to my car.
I can happily say that these two features work very well. Additionally, I now have the insurance a dash cam provides in the in the unlikely event of an accident or a police stop. The CPDuo-9 also allows me to stream music directly to the car’s stereo system either using Bluetooth, a hardwired AUX connection or via the FM modulator.
If you have a car built in the last 5 or 10 years, you may already have many of the CPDuo-9’s features built in. You may not need all the features in this large full featured model. A smaller dashcam that tucks in behind the rearview mirror may be more appropriate.
But, for those with cars or trucks more than 10 years old lacking the features provided by the CPDuo-9, this dashcam has the ability to easily modernize your car in many very useful ways.
WHAT I LIKE
Multiple very useful features-
1) Front and Rear HD dashcams that record automatically
2) CarPlay and Android Auto- provide Navigation amongst a host of other things
3) Automatic Reversing Camera
4) Audio and Video streaming (Casting & Airplay) from phone to dashcam screen
5) Large screen size, almost a big as an iPod
WHAT NEEDS IMPROVEMENT
The pedestal mount is VERY lacking in its adjustability. Mount needs to allow much more vertical adjustment and a greater ability to tilt for sloped dashboards.

Installed this Rexing dash cam on my RV and love it! The 4K front and 1080p rear cameras deliver clear video, and CarPlay/Android Auto integration makes driving so much easier. WiFi and GPS are great for quick access and route tracking, and Parking Mode adds peace of mind. Perfect solution for vehicles without an infotainment screen.
Excellent video quality
Seamless CarPlay & Android Auto
WiFi, GPS, and Parking Mode
Only challenge is running the cable for the rear camera but just need a little time and patience for that.

Impressive dash cam with the largest screen ever!

I recently upgraded to the Rexing CPduo-9 dash cam, and it’s a game-changer for my daily driving. This camera combines excellent quality video recording with the latest connectivity features like CarPlay, Android Auto, WiFi, and GPS. This makes it much more than just a dash cam, but an instant simple audio system upgrade too!
What I Love
• Video Quality: Both the front and rear cameras deliver really crisp footage, especially in 4K mode. The nighttime and low light performance are solid, and license plates are clearly visible.
• HUGE Touchscreen: The display is bright and responsive, great for navigation and media control via CarPlay. It’s a huge upgrade from older dash cams. The size is a bit imposing, but as a ‘mature woman’ my eyes appreciate how easy it is to see everything.
• Parking Mode: With hardwiring, the dash cam stays on to monitor your vehicle when parked and unattended. This adds peace of mind for anytime you feel your car is vulnerable. There would be a recording to show what happened when you were not there.
Things to Consider
• Mounting: The screen is very large, like mini ipad size, which can slightly obstruct the windshield view depending on placement. This wasn’t the best choice for my small sedan, but worked much better in my husbands large pick-up truck with more windshield to ‘lose’.
Overall, the CPduo-9 is a feature packed, modern dash cam ideal for anyone looking to upgrade their older car with smart tech and protect themselves with reliable video capture. It’s especially great for older vehicles that lack built-in CarPlay or Android Auto.

Overall, this dash cam works great. The 4K front and 1080p rear video look sharp, and I like having GPS and parking mode for extra peace of mind. Setup was straightforward and the Wi-Fi makes it easy to grab footage. The only minor issue I’ve had is with Apple CarPlay connectivity, but I’ve experienced similar quirks with other cars and devices too. Not a deal-breaker, and I’d still recommend it.

This camera is tailored more towards older vehicles without having to buy 2 separate things. You can get a dash cam and you can upgrade your stereo orrrrr you can get this and have it do both. Yes I know for audiophiles, this probably isn’t for them but for those who want CarPlay/Android Auto, this is it. Broadcast it thru your aux input, Bluetooth, or transmitter. We have a few older models and this solved that issue. The video quality is nice and clear and the wiring is very simple. We have quite a few cameras from Rexing and they’re easy to use. Simple interface, connects to the app on your phone if you need to access footage. Would recommend.

I am satisfied with this dash cam. It performs well as both a dash cam and for CarPlay. The video quality is excellent.
My only suggestion would be for the seller to provide a detailed video guide for installing the hardware kit, which would make setup easier.
Overall, this is a reliable and well-designed device, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Exactly what I hoped it would be. Installation wasn't extremely difficult, just took some patience to get the wire to run to the back of the vehicle. I had tried stereo systems with built in cameras and could never get them to work. This was a refreshing option and I couldn't be happier! I have owned several Rexing products, the first dash cam I ever installed is still going strong 5 years later. I have no doubt this one will be just as reliable.

I purchased the Rexing CPDUO9 and have been really impressed so far. The biggest selling point for me is the front and rear cameras recording continuously. It gives me peace of mind knowing both angles are always being captured while I’m driving or parked.
The rear camera also doubles as a very clear backup camera. The image quality is sharp and easy to see, even in lower light, which makes parking much more confident and safe.
Another great feature is the gravity-sensing parking mode. It automatically detects impacts while parked, protecting against hit-and-runs, vandalism, or theft. That extra layer of security makes the camera feel like a true 24/7 protection system.
Installation and daily use are simple. The interface is straightforward, and I didn’t have to struggle with complicated menus. It feels designed for regular drivers, not just tech experts.
Overall, this is a great upgrade if you want reliable continuous recording, a strong backup camera, car play, android auto, and an easy-to-use system with built-in parking protection. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a dual dash cam setup that adds real visibility and convenience.

After installing the Rexing CPDuo-9 dash cam, I immediately noticed how sharp and vivid the 9-inch HD touchscreen looked—navigating menus and maps was effortless. The integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto was seamless, letting me access apps and navigation with just a tap or voice command; it genuinely made hands-free communication much easier. The 4K front camera and 1080p rear camera captured everything on the road with impressive clarity, so I felt secure knowing both angles were covered and blind spots were minimized. The reverse park assist turned out to be a huge help in tight parking situations—with the backup camera activating automatically, I stopped worrying about hidden obstacles. Setting up Wi-Fi and Bluetooth was straightforward, and having GPS navigation built-in meant I never had to juggle separate devices. I appreciated the generous storage (mine takes up to 256GB), giving peace of mind that important videos wouldn’t get overwritten. Overall, the easy installation, premium audio integration, and intuitive controls made this dash cam a fantastic upgrade—combining safety, convenience, and entertainment into one package.

The system includes all required components for hardwired installation, supporting a clean and professional setup. The included 64GB SD card ensures reliable local video storage without the need for immediate upgrades.
Overall, the CPDuo-9 is a well-designed, feature-rich system that adds modern capability and safety enhancements to any vehicle.
