This isn't my first Rexing dashcam and I don't expect it to be the last; this company does a great job of innovating on the dashcam scene and adding new features with each iteration. I got this for my 2010 Mazda3, of which the most impressive tech feature was bluetooth. This acted as a solid upgrade to the car, essentially giving me all of the benefits of apple carplay / android auto while also adding a useful and effective camera monitoring system. First thing to note, this is BIG but not cumbersome. The 9" screen allows you to follow the maps without being distracted and the camera being on top gives it great dashcam visibility despite being lower on the dash. I was concerned about night vision but discovered happily that the image quality is crisp. Running the wires to the back of the car is simple; I ended up going under the plastic weather stripping and it's effectively invisible. This gives me a rear backup camera and additional monitoring capability. I strongly recommend you wire it into the backup light (as recommended by Rexing) so that you can also get the automatic backup camera as soon as you shift into reverse. And you get all of this at a reasonable price ($200 at time of review) which frankly is a really good deal for what is effectively a technology upgrade for my car. No negative feedback on this product, highly recommend!

I recently installed this Rexing Dash Cam in my daily driver and overall I’m genuinely pleased. On the plus side, the front 4K footage is impressively sharp (I can clearly read license plates and catch details I couldn’t before), the Wi-Fi transfer to my phone is super handy for quickly checking clips, and the CarPlay/Android Auto integration adds a nice modern touch. The rear 1080p camera doesn’t deliver quite the same clarity in lower-light parking scenarios, which is expected given the difference in camera quality. The initial menu/navigation took some time to adapt to, but I quickly got used to it. The biggest benefit is the ability to bring modern screen tech to my old DD! Bottom line - if you want a strong dash cam for everyday security and don’t mind tweaking a few settings or only getting good night rear footage, this is a solid pick! Worth five stars in my book.

This system is perfect for modernizing your older car. From the camera to the touch sceen you can update your older car. The functions are easy to learn. So glad I have this product.

This is a great dashcam and a really good value for the price I paid. The resolution and features are awesome and the added value of getting a backup camera and Android Auto for my old car is really nice.

Purchased this for my wifes Nissan versa. We were shocked how large, bright and responsive the screen was for what we paid. We've been rexing customers for years now and this is why, dashcam products that always seem to exceed our expectations.

Really excellent product and made my old car into a smart screen without having to replace any of the body parts. The front and back dash cam is really good clarity and the CarPlay works flawlessly. Installation was breeze too everything I needed was included in the box.

I was really impressed with the quality of this dash cam. The 4K video looks super clear, even at night, and the screen makes it easy to see everything in real time. Installation was straightforward and didn’t take long at all — just plug and play. The fact that it also works with CarPlay and Android Auto is a big bonus, making it feel like part of the car’s system. Definitely a solid choice if you want something reliable and easy to set up.

Its just great for backing up the truck big screen to see it nice and clear gps is really nice and accurate parking mode surveillance is what everyone needs for their cars, it does everything need to have in a vehicle

This is a nice dash cam! Much larger than my previous small one and I can see it much better. Has nice features, including cameras front and back. I like the FM feature where it will record inside my RV when ignition is off and I'm not around. Great upgrade! Thank You Rexing!

We bought this for a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee which way pre-dated CarPlay accessories. Best Buy was able to install it and it works great. Large screen and connects to the radio and car power to give you all the great CarPlay features (especially maps and music). Also, it has a rear cam and dash cam which I didn't think I needed but are great additions. Highly recommended.

Pros Arrived at my local Best Buy in about five days after purchasing online. The price of $129 plus tax is reasonable considering what’s included. Apple CarPlay works very well with a minor delay and was the main reason for the purchase. Overall functionality is solid once properly mounted. Cons Screen resolution is average (about 5.5 out of 10). The mirror function with an iPhone 13 Pro Max is not very good. The included mount is not suitable for a 1997 Toyota 4Runner and required buying a separate suction cup mount. Make sure it fits in your vehicle before buying it. buying i

I bought this camera for my ram 1500 that has Uconnect but is not interchangeable with CarPlay. So this is one that sits on top of the dash. I used the back up camera on the license plate and the picture is really good. Connection with the app was more difficult than just connecting directly from my phone. The problem with that is that I have to disable my phone completely in order to connect another member from my family for them to connect to CarPlay.

Installed this Rexing dash cam on my RV and love it! The 4K front and 1080p rear cameras deliver clear video, and CarPlay/Android Auto integration makes driving so much easier. WiFi and GPS are great for quick access and route tracking, and Parking Mode adds peace of mind. Perfect solution for vehicles without an infotainment screen. Excellent video quality Seamless CarPlay & Android Auto WiFi, GPS, and Parking Mode Only challenge is running the cable for the rear camera but just need a little time and patience for that.

It's a great combination of Dash Cam and Apple CarPlay. However, it doesn't stick to the dashboard securly and keeps falling off while driving. I've doubled the glue stick with another one, and still falls off.

I’m a huge fan of Rexing, with multiple vehicles. I have a new farm truck that needed a backup camera and CarPlay so I bought this one. The screen is clear and it’s easy to set up. It’s so nice that my neighbor also ordered one!

I bought this Dash Cam really exited because of the size and Apps available since my 2014 RAV4 only has a basic screen with no GPS and basically like a tunner radio. I paid an extra $100 for the Best Buy installation and made the appointment at one of their Suburb location, around 15 miles from Downtown Chicago. It took me about one hour to get there and once there the technician told me that the $100 installation fee was just for a simple dashcam but this one needed another $90 charge. I was there, what was I going to do? I said go ahead and install it and I went into the store to wait. Soon comes the installer and tell me that the installation is not going to look good because the screen will block my view and the cables could not be hidden without breaking my dashboard. I asked to see a Supervisor, they knew what kind and model car I had, I purchased a devise specially labeled to be sold at Best Buy. Well long problem before getting a refund and drive back at Rush hour. So much lost time, I recommend to see if your car has a spot for this thing.

Great for vehicles lacking Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Easy to install and setup. Dash cam video is sharp and has great night vision. Also works as a backup camera.

It is a good screen and backup/dash cam, however it is a little awkward and the quality isn’t the best ever, but for the money it is great especially to get CarPlay and a dash cam for cheap

Another great product from Rexing, have had multiple basic dash cams that have never let me down. This CarPlay display with a dash cam is great. Much cheaper and easier upgrade to my old truck than installing a new radio.

This is a great unit. I have one of their windshield mount systems and loved it so picked this one up to mount in my skid steer. It gives me the rear view camera for hard to see spots and ability to use my phone through the sound system.
