Great Dash Cam and CarPlay Upgrade in One
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What really sets this unit apart is the built-in wireless Apple CarPlay. It was easy to set up, and now I can use features on the large touchscreen without needing to mount my phone. The screen is responsive, and easy to see while driving. The built-in GPS and Wi-Fi are also very useful. I can quickly review footage and transfer videos to my phone when needed. The parking mode adds another layer of security when the vehicle is parked. Installation took some time, but once everything was connected, the system worked flawlessly.

Android Auto/Front & Rear Dash Cam Combo
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well... Just like with my last Rexing purchase that allowed me to add Android Auto to my base Corolla, I finally found one with a bigger screen and something that doubles as a high-resolution front and rear facing dash cam. This company just keeps exceeding my expectations. This dash cam is one of the best-quality cameras Rexing as released. The integration with Android Auto and the Dash cam is seamless. For complaints, I really cannot think of any. Well, I wish there was a camera for the rear facing and another camera for the rear facing dashcam, but that is just my opinion. It is nice having a rear facing dashcam/reverse camera though. Thank you, Rexing!!

Solid Dashcam, Especially for Older Vehicles
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Here’s a polished 4‑star review of the Rexing CP Duo 9 Dashcam, incorporating all the pros and cons you listed: The Rexing CP Duo 9 is a surprisingly capable all‑in‑one dashcam and display system that delivers a lot of value, especially if you’re upgrading an older car that lacks modern infotainment features. The 9-inch screen is bright and easy to read, and the 4K front camera paired with the included rear camera provides excellent coverage right out of the box. I also appreciate that Rexing includes an SD card, so you can get everything set up without buying extra accessories. Connectivity is another strong point. The Wi‑Fi and GPS functionality work reliably, making it easy to review footage or track routes. For vehicles without Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, this unit can genuinely transform the driving experience. That said, the design won’t be for everyone. The large 9-inch display can look out of place in newer cars that already have integrated screens, and the mounting options are limited because the front camera is built directly into the display housing. This makes placement trickier and may require some compromise depending on your windshield layout. Overall, the Rexing CP Duo 9 is a feature-packed, high-value option—best suited for older vehicles that need a tech upgrade, but slightly awkward in modern interiors. If you want a big screen and strong dashcam performance in one device, it’s a great pick.

This Rexing dash cam is fantastic for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm extremely impressed with this Rexing dash camera. When you consider the reasonable price, it's even more impressive. In my opinion having both a front and rear camera is a huge benefit over the models that just have a front facing camera. The video quality is good, just as I've come to expect from Rexing cameras. This model is packed full of features. You can connect your phone with wireless Android Auto or Apple Car Play. This lets you view your maps on the screen, use other compatible apps, etc. This works great for Google Maps. The screen is pretty large, so if you mount it near your windshield it can restrict visibility. I found mounting it lower on the dash worked better. I also like that it includes the hardwire kit. This has been one of the only complaints I've had in the past with other Rexing dash cameras. I've always had to buy the hardwire kit separately. I'm glad to see that they started including both it and the lighter outlet plug with this kit. This kit also includes a memory card. Everything you need to get started and get this installed is in the package, which makes installation a breeze. Overall, I feel like this is a feature packed unit for a fantastic price. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a dash camera.

Superb for older cars!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup: It comes with a micro sd card. And you don't need a computer to format it because it can format it for you on the camera device. Interface: The interface took a minute to get used to, but now I can navigate between music, gps, and the camera settings easily. Music/Audio: My 2005 Camry has no aux port. This device mitigates that by having both connect to the same radio frequency, which is very convenient. Camera: Both the front and rear camera give nicely wide angles. The one thing I would want is for the camera in the front to be more flexible with angle adjustment (angle feels a bit off centered). But this is a very minor thing since it still covers what matters the most, which is the everything that's in front of you. Overall this camera helps give features that newer cars have and would recommend it for anyone who wants very convenient multi functionality in one device!

Huge camera
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really liked this camera. However, I had to return it because it was just too big for my vehicle. I think this is more for a truck or a vehicle with an extra large view otherwise you won’t be able to drive with this large thing on your dash. You can, but your view with be distorted. The features on it are exceptionally great. The price when I got it was on point..it has went up a little since then, but with all the features I think it’s worth it if you can find a way to use it safely. The screen is crystal clear. The speaker is loud. It has a nice long cord for installation from the back camera to the front. I will say the stand it comes with is very flimsy on the bottom, and also requires a flat surface. My das was a bit curved so it didn’t work for me. I’m only giving it a 3 because it’s too big for the average car not because I didn’t like it. I did I just couldn’t use it. Would I recommend it yes and no. Just depends on your vehicle dash and windshield view.

great upgrade for an old SUV
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a 2004 suv without a lot of todays modern features such as a back up camera, car play, etc. This all in one dash cam with the large screen is a godsend for someone like me who now needs reading glasses to do anything on a small screen! The wireless car play connects quickly and the dash cam video quality is really really good. Installation was pretty easy for me, it took a little extra time for the rear camera since my suv is big (tahoe) and im a perfectionist. Now I finally have what all the new cars come with in my soon to be classic suv! Large screen navigation, music, backup camera... I would highly recommend this and would buy a second one if i had another car!

Modern Upgrade for Older Vehicles
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Installed this Rexing dash cam on my RV and love it! The 4K front and 1080p rear cameras deliver clear video, and CarPlay/Android Auto integration makes driving so much easier. WiFi and GPS are great for quick access and route tracking, and Parking Mode adds peace of mind. Perfect solution for vehicles without an infotainment screen. Excellent video quality Seamless CarPlay & Android Auto WiFi, GPS, and Parking Mode Only challenge is running the cable for the rear camera but just need a little time and patience for that.

Great Dash and Backup Cam with many features
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Rexing CPDUO9 and have been really impressed so far. The biggest selling point for me is the front and rear cameras recording continuously. It gives me peace of mind knowing both angles are always being captured while I’m driving or parked. The rear camera also doubles as a very clear backup camera. The image quality is sharp and easy to see, even in lower light, which makes parking much more confident and safe. Another great feature is the gravity-sensing parking mode. It automatically detects impacts while parked, protecting against hit-and-runs, vandalism, or theft. That extra layer of security makes the camera feel like a true 24/7 protection system. Installation and daily use are simple. The interface is straightforward, and I didn’t have to struggle with complicated menus. It feels designed for regular drivers, not just tech experts. Overall, this is a great upgrade if you want reliable continuous recording, a strong backup camera, car play, android auto, and an easy-to-use system with built-in parking protection. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a dual dash cam setup that adds real visibility and convenience.

Good product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked up the Rexing 4K + 1080p dash cam mainly to modernize my 11 year older car that didn’t have CarPlay or Android Auto, and it’s honestly been a big upgrade. The first thing you notice is the screen – it’s huge. In a good way, it makes navigation and music controls super easy to see, and using CarPlay/Android Auto feels very similar to having a built-in factory unit. Video quality has been excellent so far. The front 4K footage is sharp enough to clearly read license plates, and the rear camera does a solid job for both driving and backing up. Once I got everything configured, the connectivity has been pretty reliable. My phone hooks up quickly for CarPlay, and having GPS plus the option to pull clips over Wi-Fi instead of digging out the SD card is really convenient. That said, there are a few trade-offs. The big screen can take up more windshield real estate than I’d like, so placement matters. Mounting and wiring are also not “plug-and-play” if you want a clean install – routing the cables and getting the mount just right took some time. The instructions around the different connection modes (Wi-Fi vs. CarPlay/Android Auto, multiple phones, etc.) could also be clearer; there was a bit of trial and error in the beginning. Overall, though, I’m happy with it. If you’ve got an older car and want both a quality dash cam and modern phone integration without replacing the whole head unit, this Rexing is a strong option.

Solid upgrade - super convenient and great video q
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using this Rexing dash cam for a few weeks now, and honestly, it’s been a great experience. The 4K front camera is crisp enough to catch tiny details like license plates, and the rear 1080p feed looks clean too. What really surprised me is how seamlessly it works with CarPlay and Android Auto - it basically feels like part of my car’s system instead of some extra gadget stuck to the windshield. Setup was straightforward: plug it in, connect to WiFi, update the firmware, and I was good to go. The GPS tagging is accurate, and the parking mode gives me peace of mind when I leave my car in busy lots. I also like that the app actually works well; downloading clips doesn’t feel like a chore. If you want a dash cam that’s easy to live with and doesn’t feel outdated or clunky, this one hits the mark. It’s definitely worth it for the features you get

Fantastic dashcam
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Screen is very good and vivid. I really appreciate the screen size as this doubles as both dashcam and media player. Fantastic that this features wireless android auto and apple car play. The hardwire kit allows for surveillance mode and in my two weeks of using I haven't experienced any issues with battery draining on a car I've owned for 2 years.

Surprisingly useful and way more convenient than I
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn’t planning on getting a dash cam with CarPlay built in but I’m really glad I went for this one. It’s not just a dash cam, it basically turns your car into a smart setup with the big screen and easy access to maps and music. It connects to my iPhone automatically every time I start the car which is super convenient. The video quality is great too, both front and rear views look really clear even when it’s raining or at night. I mounted it on the dash and windshield using the adhesive and it hasn’t moved at all. The screen is big but not bulky and it’s easy to tap around and adjust stuff. Haven’t used the GPS features much yet but I like that it’s there. One thing to note, it does get a little warm after being on for a while but no issues so far. Honestly just a nice upgrade that makes the drive feel more modern and gives you peace of mind with the recording.

Great option to modernize older cars with no nav!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently installed this Rexing Dash Cam in my daily driver and overall I’m genuinely pleased. On the plus side, the front 4K footage is impressively sharp (I can clearly read license plates and catch details I couldn’t before), the Wi-Fi transfer to my phone is super handy for quickly checking clips, and the CarPlay/Android Auto integration adds a nice modern touch. The rear 1080p camera doesn’t deliver quite the same clarity in lower-light parking scenarios, which is expected given the difference in camera quality. The initial menu/navigation took some time to adapt to, but I quickly got used to it. The biggest benefit is the ability to bring modern screen tech to my old DD! Bottom line - if you want a strong dash cam for everyday security and don’t mind tweaking a few settings or only getting good night rear footage, this is a solid pick! Worth five stars in my book.

Lots of tech in a compact unit!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really happy with this Rexing front and rear dash cam with Android auto! The video quality is super clear, especially from the front camera, and the massive 9” touchscreen is easy to use. I like the split screen being able to see both cameras at once, the wireless Android Auto work smoothly and really can bring an old car into the future. Setup was pretty straightforward, and it’s nice that everything you need comes in the box. The rear camera is great for parking, and the app makes reviewing footage simple. Overall, it feels well-made and reliable. Great choice if you want a dash cam with excellent video quality and modern features.

Rexing CPDuo-9 Review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been very pleased with this Rexing dash cam so far. I bought it because I liked the idea of having a dash cam, rear camera, CarPlay/Android Auto, GPS, and parking mode all in one device, and it has been a great upgrade for my vehicle. The video quality is one of the best parts. The front camera looks sharp and clear, and the rear camera is a nice bonus for extra coverage. I also really like having CarPlay built right into the unit since it makes navigation, music, and calls much easier in a car that did not already have that feature. The screen is a good size and easy to use, and overall the system feels like a nice way to modernize the car without replacing the factory setup. Once installed, it has been very convenient for everyday driving. Installation does take a little time, especially if you want the wiring to look clean, but that is expected for a product with this many features. Still, once everything is in place, it works well and feels worth it. Overall, I think this is a great all-in-one option for anyone who wants both dash cam protection and smartphone connectivity in one package. I’m happy with the purchase and would recommend it.

CPDuo-9: Excellent upgrade for older vehicles
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have a 2011 Toyota Sienna which has a small 2” backup camera and no CarPlay capability. I installed the CPDuo-9 the day it arrived and it works very well. I wish it came with a suction cup mount but I bought one on Amazon and it works great. The large screen is very clear and convenient for using Waze Navigation from my phone. I ran the rear camera wires along the interior roof and mounted the camera on the tailgate window. This was much easier than trying to get near the license plate. The red wire on the rear camera can be tucked into the light bulb socket for the backup light and the rear camera then comes on automatically when in reverse. The speaker in the unit itself is rather quiet but there are Bluetooth and FM tuning options. I couldn’t get the Bluetooth to work with our 2011 Toyota (It has Bluetooth so it may well be user error). It is also not seamless to change from one phone to another but by turning Bluetooth off on the previously used phone the new phone can connect. Overall, a great upgrade
