Overall, I liked that the camera attaches to the mirror. The hardest part of the install is getting the wire tucked under the roof and side bar lining. It was a little hard to figure out the menus on how to change the startup time to turn off the image. The only downside has been that the screen is tinted and so is my rear window with factory tint (so it’s not that dark). When I back up in a garage or in the dark the mirror is useless. I haven’t installed the rear camera yet. So I am not sure if that activates when backing up and if that would help.

Power button broke. The company sent me a new camera. Excellent screen resolution and easy to install. Very easy to use and reliable.

It works well. I have the rear camera mounted inside the car near the headliner. This gives me full visibility of cars around me right up until they are beside me. The actual blind spot detection function works, although it is a bit too sensitive (even at the lowest setting). And the alert sound is annoying and can’t be turned off. But with the actual visibility the camera provides, I don’t need the BSD alarms. Also, my model doesn’t include Wi-Fi, so you have to either watch recordings on the mirror itself or pull the SD car out and put it in a computer.

The rear and front view camera has worked fine they did not get the side piler cover on correctly and it keeps falling off they need to do a check of the install prior to sending out

I love it. Feels like a huge upgrade. Definitely would recommend to anyone who has an older car.

The Rexing M2 2K functions as as intended and was very easy to set up in my 2012 Nissan Altima especially using the included power line hooked into the cigarette plug. Options for hardwiring the power line directly to the fuse box are available but not necessary for use while the car is on. Hiding the wires was easy using the included tool. The rear camera can be installed inside the car; however, the camera picked up too much reflection from the rear window that it became a distraction while driving; as s a result, it is much better to mount the rear camera outside the car. The only challenge mounting the camera outside the car is drilling a hole or finding another pre-drilled hole to string the cable through. I rate this as 3 stars because the glass surface on the mirror mounted unit reflects too much of the interior during daytime driving that it occasionally washes out the image displayed on the screen. I find these occasional reflections distracting while driving which gives me concerns when driving. I suppose I will get used to seeing an occasional reflection, but I consider this a design flaw that should have been addressed. I have tried several different angles to try and avoid these occasional reflections, but I have not found a position that completely eliminates these distracting reflections. There are some reviewers that feel the mirror mounted unit should be reflective and also function as as a true mirror; however, this should not be necessary as the video monitor itself should completely be sufficient. I would have preferred the unit have a non-reflective surface; as a result, I have purchased some non-reflective film normally used to reduce glare on computer screens to help minimize the reflection. Overall the unit functions very well as designed; however, it works better in cars that have better shielding from reflections,

Had this dash cam for a good while and have to say it is actually pretty good. I had the geek squad do the install with the power and dash cam. All was good but they hooked up the backup wire to my brake wires. So that was one shortfall from the geek squad. The sensor for the locking file needs to be adjusted. I had to pull some footage from it for a incident and it was clean.

Affordable price and easy to install. Good quality. Other language manuals are also very helpful.

Great product ! I have an older model SUV and the backup camera really does work. In addition to the front camera that records and stores action. The camera also can provide early crash warnings on the front or back but not simultaneously. I had the Geek squad install my camera. I do think if you are handy you can do the job.

Nice and clean images. Not sure I like it in the review mirror but I adapted it to fit better

Camera works great have clear picture of rear view and front view. recomend that you purchase hardwire kit so you have contant power to camera so parking monitor will work when car is off, One disapointment is that its not WiFi so you need to remove Micro SD card to view on PC or you can view recordings on the Mirror cam if you want to

It's a good unit no doubt but it could be much better. It does not support a 12 hour format which is ridiculous. If your vehicle has a lane keeping or rain sensor unit on the windshield the camera is partially blocked from recording traffic coming from the right. I have a 2020 Transit Connect and chose to plug the unit into the power outlet at the back of the center console - the power cord barely reached this location, leaving the wire exposed to disturbance by backseat passengers - a slightly longer power cable would be helpful. The unit DOES NOT come with an SD card and the box does not notify you of this. I cannot get the unit to turn off on it's own. My vehicle provides power to all outlets for 20 minutes after shut-off but the unit remains on for hours. The locked file feature is problematic in that when the file is full a brief message flashed on the mirror while you're driving. It only lasts a second or two and becomes distracting because you know a notification has appeared but have no time to read it while keeping your eyes on the road. The locked files must be deleted one at a time. 50 files. It is an annoying and cumbersome effort. Finally, the instructions and email support have those 'lost in translation' grammatical errors that make it almost impossible to effectively communicate with support. Here's an example: "Could you please just check unplugged the cable and let us if that camera turns OFF immediately Also, We just wanted to if the parking monitor is not creating the issue, so kindly turn it OFF and check if that resolves the issue and the camera goes OFF."

Been a great dashcam! Was little harder to get the reverse feature to activate it but overall great easy to install and pull the footage

Had this installed by the Geek Squad team, very professionally done. This product attaches to your stock rearview mirror so if you drive a sports car, the fit of the actual product may be a little tight. Never the less, both front and rear cameras work and the display is very clear with no delay. Rear camera has great peripheral view while you drive. Overall, very good product.

The product satisfies my need to be able to view things behind me when I back up, as I have an older truck that predates backup cameras. The installation process was done efficiently and skillfully by the technician. All-in-all it was a very positive experience.
